Since its introduction in 1994, the B&C SPECIALITY PRODUCTS BC320 Starter for Continental engines has established an impressive service record as the ONLY starter design on the market that has provided reliable, long-term service for these engines. 

Suitable for installation on Continental engines (C-75, C-85, C-90, C-145-2, O-200, IO-240, O-300-A, -B, and -C, and GO-300-A, -B, and -C) it solves all the problems that other starter designs have had:  worn-out clutches, broken pinions, nagging oil leaks, and catastrophic failure modes. Featuring the durability of all-steel gears and heavy-duty ball-bearings, and the efficiency of a high-torque series-wound motor, it provides greater starting torque, while saving 4.3 to 5.2 lbs. over the old key-type and pull-cable type starters (respectively).

The B&C SPECIALITY PRODUCTS BC320 Starter is STC-PMA approved for use in certificated aircraft, and is available with or without the STC (*). Two installation kits are also available:  one for replacing a key-type starter (Installation Kit 501-1), the other for replacing a pull-cable type starter (Installation Kit 501-3). For key-type starters, before installing the BC320, you will need to remove the needle bearing pressed into the engine case & install the supplied plug in its place. For pull-cable starters, before installing the BC320, you will need to cut off the 9/16 steel shaft that is installed in your engine case.

Other versions of BC320 Starter for 12v and 24v electrical systems (BC320-2, 12v Counter-Rotating or the 24v BC320-3) are also available.

SAE100 R7 thermoplastic hydraulic hoses are commonly used with petroleum, fire-resistant, and water-base fluids, pneumatic, fuel, and lubricating systems. These hoses are poduced by different manufacturers such as KURT HYDRAULICS, DANFOSS EATON, PARKER and others they are offered as standard (conductive) and non-conductive (blocking electrical flow). They are generally composed of three parts: tube, reinforcement and cover. The tube and cover are made from high quality thermoplastic while reinforcement is made from suitable synthetic fiber. 

KURT HYDRAULICS, part of KURT Manufacturing Group. manufactures and supplies a wide range of hydraulic fittings, hoses and couplings. The KURT HYDRAULICS thermoplastic hydraulic hoses are manufactured to the highest quality standards. EXXONMOBIL® AVIATION Mobil Jet Oil 254 is a third-generation oil formulated to deliver exceptional high-temperature thermal stability  (HTS), excellent resistance to coking and deposit control as well as exceptional oxidation and corrosion protection. It meets the demanding requirements of latest technology  aircraft-type gas turbines operating over a wide range of severe operating conditions.  When compared to a typical Type II lubricant, Mobil Jet Oil 254 reduces bulk oil oxidation by up to 50 percent and shows deposit control capability 50 F higher.  These properties have been confirmed in various laboratory tests including; the Corrosion-Oxidation Stability Test,  Alcor Deposition Test, Vapor Phase Coker, Erdco High-Temperature Bearing Test, Ryder Gear and the Mobil Thin Film Oxidation Test.The closely controlled low-temperature viscosity of Mobil Jet Oil 254, along with its low pour point (below -54 ºC), ensure good low-temperature fluidity to permit starting and lubrication at temperatures as low as -40 ºC.  In extensive laboratory testing and in-flight experience, Mobil Jet Oil 254 also exhibits excellent bulk oil stability at temperatures up to 232 ºC (450 ºF) for extended periods.  The evaporation rate at these temperatures is low enough to prevent excessive loss of volume.  The load-carrying ability of Mobil Jet Oil 254 comes from its synthetic base stock viscosity and, therefore, is not subject to loss from viscosity index additive shear.

The MS27643/AS27643 series airframe control bearings are offered by various manufacturers. They are  double row, ball, self-aligning, heavy duty bearings produced in accordance with AS7949 specification.

Depending on the manufacturer, rings and balls of these bearings are produced from premium quality AISI 52100 chrome steel or CRES 440C materials.  External surfaces (except bore, caps, and seals) are cadmium plated per AMS-QQ-P-416 or zinc nickel plated per OEM specifications. They include PTFE seals, CRES sealcaps and they are prelubricated. They are offered in different sizes but custom sizes, materials, tolerances, radial internal clearances, lubrication, plating, etc., can also be offered upon request.

SUPERIOR PANEL TECHNOLOGY (SPT) has developed a brighter, more uniform and longer lasting glare shield lighting system. The 18” x 1” glow strip electroluminescent lamps provide a beautiful fluorescent-like aviation green or a white light output. The ultra-thin lamps (.065 including the adhesive backing) are very flexible and conform to the curves of the underside of the glare shield. The SPT Glow Strips meet the FAA 23.853 burn test. Kingfisher Kinglok® system allows assembly of angle hydraulic fittings using a unique leak-proof mechanical joint. The head is made with an annular groove in the plain portion. On assembly the head is forced into the body and metal is swaged info the groove. The Kinglok method of construction provides a very substantial mechanical joint with a leak-proof fit.

Kingfisher grease fittings are sold in pieces and convenient packs of specified number of pieces each. In the case of packs, the number of included pieces is indicated in the product reference number (SKU) after the letters "PK". Also offered in convenient Grease Fitting and Fitting Cap Kits.

Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) devices are components that make use of the ability of piezoelectric materials to convert acoustic (i.e. mechanical) waves into electromagnetic signals, and vice-versa. By far, the most common SAW devices are those which perform a filtering operation, also known as SAW filters. SAW Band Pass Filters (SAW BPF) sort signals by frequency the most widely used substrates being quartz (SiO2), lithium niobate (LiNbO3) and Lithium tantalite (LiTaO3) that are very brittle materials.

Usually SAW filters operate from 600 MHz to 2 GHz frequency range in mobile environment. Based on IF (Intermediate Frequency) and RF (Radio Frequency) filtering, there are two types of filters, IF SAW and RF SAW filters. In addition, based on construction, there are different  types of offered SAW filters such as IIDT, DMS and ladder.

Main advantages or benefits of SAW filters include:

• they allow electro-acoustic coupling via the transducer

• SAW velocity is 105 times less than that of Electromagnetic (EM) wave. As a result, SAW filters can be used in cases where EM wave based filter designs are impractical to be developed

• SAW filters are less expensive compared to BAW (Bulk Acoustic Wave) filters

• SAW filters are easy in fabrication due to easy access to their structure from the above surface of the filter.

The display unit is a 1.8”, high resolution, sunlight readable, wide viewing angle, LCD colour display with a completely sealed and waterproof display front panel. The gauge enclosure is a common 52mm round size to fit many existing cutouts. Key features include highly accurate with good repeatability displays consumption in Litres per Hour or other units, fuel remaining in up to 2 tanks, connection capabilities to a NMEA enabled RS232 GPS receiver,  one or two fuel flow senders and fuel level senders and a single fuel pressure sender and display. Hose and tubing insert fittings are available in high density black polyethylene or white nylon. Polyethylene fittings can be used with tygon, nylon or soft rubber tubing to assemble low pressure instrument lines such as airspeed pitot and static lines. Nylon fittings can be used in gravity-feed fuel lines and engine breather lines.

NYLO-SEAL tube fittings are exceptionally strong. The bodies, made of nylon, are stronger than machined fittings of similar composition. They are furnished complete with nut/sleeve assemblies, made of acetal copolymer. Since the sleeve snaps into and is retained by the nut there is no fumbling for a loose sleeve. Just insert tube into the fitting and tighten the nut 2 to 2-1/2 full turns. Note: The most frequently used combination of tube and pipe sizes are 1/4" Tube x 1/8" Pipe and 3/8" Tube x1/4" Pipe.

POLY-FLO tube is a flexible, economical thermoplastic tube fabricated from high molecular weight polyethylene for improved strength. The base resin has the greatest resistance to environmental stress cracking of all the regular polyethylenes. Used for instrument or pneumatic lines. Use Nylo-Seal fittings (259-N inserts are required), nylon or polyethylene hose fittings such as 0710-153. It meets A.S.T.M. D-1248-60T, Type 1, Class A, Grade 4 and Federal Specification LP- 590, Type 2, Grade 7. Color:- natural.

Varnishes are materials widely used for covering surfaces for decorative and protective purposes.Different varnishes are offered to meet specific application requirements. Traditional Lacquers have been  and are still used for woodworking applications. Conversion Varnishes (CV), aka catalyzed conversion varnishes or catalyzed varnishes, are commonly used on woodworks but also for other applications in place of traditional lacquers and other finishes. They are lacquers containing a hardening agent added to the varnish prior to painting, providing additional durability when combined with the heat-curing process. A conversion varnish is chemically cured, fast-drying and consists of 40-60% solids. Polyurethane finishes are also used as they are often considered highly durable finishes. Polyurethane can resist scratching, heat, alkali, and acids and wear better than many other finishes, including lacquer.

PPG AEROSPACE CV122 Electrical Insulating and Aerospace Wood Varnish, a single-pack, air drying,water & fungal resistant gloss varnish suitable for application as an electrical insulating coating or wood varnish.Specifications/Approvals: BSX17, DEF STAN 80-129/4 Type 2.

GENERAL FINISHES ENDURO Conversion Varnish is a water based two component post catalyzed urethane topcoat suitable for commercial woodwork applications where ultimate durability is necessary such as bar tops. It has a 6-8 hour pot life once catalyzed and can be re-coated in 1-2 hours.Offered in Flat, Satin, Semi-Gloss, and Gloss finishes.

An oil pressure sensor is a device used to measure the oil pressure on an engine. The term oil pressure sensor is often used to denote  at least two different and distinct types of sensor - an oil pressure switch and and oil pressure sender.

An oil pressure switch is an egine protection device. It is a mechanical device that has a switch inside. The oil pressure switch may be 1, 2, or 3 insulated terminals (pins). Traditionally most oil switches for protection close when they activate, to show low oil pressure. 

An oil pressure sender is a device that senses the oil pressure of an engine and transmits it to the engine or machine controller. It is used as a generator protection device, to display the oil pressure to a user or for logging and diagnostic purposes. Unlike an oil pressure switch, it can display a range of readings.

Oil pressure sensors are used aircrafts and offered either as parts from the respective OEMs or as replacement parts from third parties. They are alternatively termed as HOBBS switches.

In aviation applications Confor™ Foam's unique ability to absorb impact and vibration provides a safety factor for aircraft and helicopter seating. It meets FAR 25.853, FAR 25.855, and CAL 117 burn specifications making it excellent for certified aircraft or homebuilts.

Made from 14L 12 steel and cadmium plated, SAF-AIR FAA-PMA approved push type fuel drain valves are close tolerance valves of simple design. These valves provide the most trouble free operation of any other line of valves in the industry. SAF-AIR valves are manufactured with an o-ring placed on the stem to seal against a flat seat on the body. This design eliminates an area where dirt can gather, thus putting an end to the main cause of fuel drain valve drip. Available in eight models in two styles with or without 1/4" hose adapter.

Cotton flock is an innovative, milled form of cotton used as a filler and reinforcement fiber in adhesives, epoxy resins, cosmetics, and other applications. Those offered by R&G Faserverbundwerkstoffe GmbH (R&G) are white flocks of approx. 350 µm fibre length (typical 150–500 µm), 10–25 µm fibre width  (1–3 Denier), 1.5 g/cm³ specific gravity and tensile strength: up to 120,000 psi (ca. 800 N/mm²). Melting characteristics char at 250 °F (120 °C), decompose at: 300 °F (150 °C), insoluble in Acetone, DMF or 40 % NaOH, water uptake: approx. 0.3 g per g cotton flocks. R&G cotton flocks can be used for enhanced dimensional stability in moulded products, increased impact and abrasion resistance. They are low cost, low density (4.5 litre Cotton flocks = 1 kg (0.22 g/cm³), and feature good adhesion to epoxy, polyester, and polyurethane resins as well as to rubber compounds. They are  resistant to many chemicals and alkalines. Application(s): manufacture of light, non-draining adhesives, pourable moulding compound and coupler coatings for mould construction, using a mixture of 50 volume percent glass fiber cuttings and 50 volume percent cotton flocks.  Cotton flocks are not dangerous or a substance or mixture within the meaning of EU REACH Regulation for dangerous substances and mixtures.

Glass fiber chips are used in combination with cotton flakes for coupling layers in mold making. R&G offers chopped glass fibre strands of 3 mm length (± 5 mm) ideal for polyester resins due to the coating, and well suited for epoxy resins. Applications: Fibre pastes and moulding compounds, synthetic plasters, putties, adhesives, corrosion protection coats, and asbestos substitutes. In the case of coupling, layers to fill and back up edges and embed alignment dowels and screw unions in-mould construction, a mixture of 50 % vol. chopped glass fiber and 50 % vol. cotton flock is mostly used. Also available are milled glass fibers of 0.2 mm length for epoxy, polyester and vinyl ester resins. Applications: Fibre pastes and moulding compounds, synthetic plasters, putties, adhesives, corrosion protection coats and asbestos substitutes.

ASG KUBER MIL-R-25134 B Paint Remover & Lacquer Solvent is a thickened, non phenolic aircraft paint stripper which meets the requirements of BOEING Document D6-17487 and MIL-PRF-25134 C. MIL-R-25134 B is a viscous liquid developed to remove multiple coats of paint. It clings to vertical as well as the underside of horizontal surfaces. MIL-R-25134 B can be applied as received by brushing or spraying. It is specially designed to remove lacquer and enamel coating finishes from metal surfaces of aircraft or other surfaces while it can also be used for stripping various types of paints such as varnish, zinc chromate primer, epoxy, polyurethane, etc.

Allow MIL-R-25134 B sufficient dwell time for thorough loosening or blistering of the paint. When paint is loose, thoroughly agitate all areas with a stiff bristle brush. The complete removal of the paint residues is accomplished with high pressure, high volume, cold water or with a steam cleaning machine. Normally one coat of MIL-R-25134 B is sufficient to remove more than one paint coating. Where multicoat systems have to be removed, it may be necessary to use more than one application of MIL-R-25134 B.

Different applications of UMETA grease nipples include bearings, hinges for machines, vehicles, industry, cardan and drive shafts, linear guides, hydraulic cylinders, drives, chains, axes and others. 

UMETA hydraulic grease nipples have a conical thread, the head diameter is 6.5 - 0.2 mm. Upon request, UMETA can manufacture grease nipples with different measurements, threads, thread types (for example, cylindrical thread), with other opening pressures.

Hydraulic connectors 515/G - 516/G are recommended as nozzles with  the use of plastic caps for protection and conservation.

Mostly sold in packs of 100 pieces per pack or other number as specified after the letters "PK" in the product reference number (SKU).

TRIATIC Diamond Countersinks are offered in various diameters and angles with or without slots and pilots, straight shanks or threaded shanks. The diamond coating is extremely tough and durable resulting in a tool with long life, reducing tool changes and unnecessary downtime. 

Their electroplated Diamond Coated Router Bits are available in a variety of sizes, with flat or round ends, with or without slots and coolant holes. The flat face is ideal for routing, slotting and trimming composites and other hard abrasive materials. The round end tools can be used to drill and form shapes. Slots enable quicker removal rates and improved clearance for deeper grinding. Coolant holes can be added for through coolant on the end of the tool and side ports.

TRIATIC also offers Diamond Saws, Circular, Hole & Jig. Their Saw Blades electroplated with 40/50 grit diamond are ideal for cutting off or slotting fiberglass and other fiber reinforced plastic and composite materials and alumina. Diamond hole saws cut more accurately, leave a smoother finish, and and last up to twice as long as carbide-grit-coated teeth. Electroplated diamond saw blades are for use on reinforced plastic, composites, stone, brick, and other abrasive materials with high silicon content. TRIATIC diamond saw blades are available with or without slots. Depending on the material, slots can help keep the diamond section free of loading, keeping the blade free cutting and cool. The diamond hole saws are unmounted but arbors are available if necessary.

(*) Diamond and Cubic Boron Nitride (CBN) are both extensively used materials in tooling. Both are extremely hard. Diamond is a crystalline form of carbon. CBN doesn't exist in nature and is synthesized from boron and nitrogen. Generally, diamond is preferred for shaping extremely hard workpiece materials such as ceramics, carbides, stone and glass. CBN is better suited for applications generating high temperatures. TRIATIC diamond tools can be used with fiberglass, carbon, FRP, ceramics, carbide, quartz, marble/granite and other non-ferrous abrasion-resistant materials. CBN can be used with high speed tool steels, die steels, harden carbon steels, monel, inconel, rene, waspalloy and other hard ferrous superalloys.
