Hose and tubing insert fittings are available in high density black polyethylene or white nylon. Polyethylene fittings can be used with tygon, nylon or soft rubber tubing to assemble low pressure instrument lines such as airspeed pitot and static lines. Nylon fittings can be used in gravity-feed fuel lines and engine breather lines.

SAE-AS5174/MS24392/AN815 series union, flared tube male to male hydraulic fittings are available as part of our own labelled (AVIATIONEU NEW ERA) product lines in different materials, tube outer diameters and thread sizes in inches. The AN815 series fittings are superseded by the respective fittings of Military Standard MS24392 which in turn are superseded by SAE International standard  SAE-AS5174 series. Materials include: Carbon Steel, Aluminum Alloy, Corrosion Resistant Steel (CRES), Titanium Alloy. The 2 digits after the series code indicate the tubing outer diameter (O.D.)  in inches. The following Material Code Letters in the part numbers indicate the composition of the fitting. Finish code “V” in the PN indicates high purity Aluminum coating for “W” or “D” fittings. 

Depending on their Part Number they are sold in pieces but also in packs a with specified number of fittings indicated after the letters "PK" in the product reference number (SKU).

For example, AS5174D0606 union fitting is made from Aluminum Alloy with a tubing outer diameter (O.D.) 3/8" and a 0.5625-18 UNJF thread. The corresponding union fitting in AN832 series would be AN815-6D.

Note: In SAE AS standards for new designs, Aluminum fittings with material code letter D in their Part or Identifying Number (PIN) are replaced by those with material code letter W for Aluminum Alloy 7075-T73 providing a higher tensile strength. In addition CRES fittings with material code letter S can be used for replacement parts. For new designs use of CRES fittings with material code letter R is recommended for applications requiring higher temperature. 

SAE-AS5406/AN832 series union tube hydraulic fittings are available as part of our own labelled (AVIATIONEU NEW ERA) product lines in different materials, tube outer diameters and thread sizes in inches. The AN832 series fittings are superseded by the respective fittings of  SAE International standard  SAE-AS5406 series. 

Like their SAE-AS5174/MS24392/AN815 union flared tube counterparts, SAE-AS5406/AN832 series fittings are manufactured from Carbon Steel, Aluminum Alloy, Corrosion Resistant Steel (CRES), Titanium Alloy. The  Parker Aerospace (Stratoflex Products Division) offers a broad array of PTFE, rubber and metal hose and hose assemblies, hose fittings, rigid tube assemblies, couplings, quick disconnects, swivel joints, fuel break-away valves, hydraulic fuses, and flow regulators, and specialty fittings including permanently swaged and welded fittings suitable for virtually any aerospace application. 680 Series are 90º elbow flared fittings  for use with Stratoflex 156 hoses. Nylaflow®, Nylon Tubing is a high-quality pressure tubing, available in several types. Nylaflow® tubes are tough and durable, offering low friction and high flexibility. Offered by different producers, Nylaflow® tubing is suitable for applications that require toughness, resilience, a small bend radius and high burst strength. Nylaflow® tubing offers superior burst strength compared to vinyl, ethylene, and urethane tubing and it is a high performance, long-lasting alternative to copper, rubber, aluminum and other types of plastic tubing. Its high burst rating makes it a common solution pneumatic and hydraulic lines. Nylon has excellent chemical resistance and can withstand exposure to relatively high concentrations of harsh chemicals at elevated temperatures. Its extremely smooth inner surface resists abrasion and wear and makes for a low coefficient of friction. It is often used in corrosive environments because of its excellent resistance to harsh chemicals. 

Nylaflow® tubing comes in different types.

Types T (Thin Wall) and H (Heavy Wall) are the most common Nylaflow general purpose tubing made from type 6/6 nylon. FDA compliant for use in food or beverage handling applications also meeting 3A sanitary standards. The High performance of this Nylon tubing makes it perfect for applications that require durability, resilience, a small bend radius, and high burst strength.

Type LM tubing is a premium high flex tubing available in two types: natural or black, which exhibits improved light stability. Type LM offers excellent chemical resistance and low moisture absorption. Often used in automotive fuel lines, lubrication lines, air lines, and vacuum environments.

Type LP tubing is a low pressure, general purpose type 6 nylon tubing with carbon added for UV stability. 

Nylaflow® nylon tubing is available with custom markings, cut to length and custom packaging. It can be cut with a sharp knife and flared hot or cold. They are odorless, tasteless and noncorrosive.

Typical applications of Nylaflow® tubing include airlines, grease lines, vacuum lines, and hydraulic lines.

AN840 series of pipe thread hose nipple fittings are offered as part of our own (AVIATIONEU NEW ERA) portfolio of fittings. Sourced from quality producers these fittings can be furnished in aluminum or brass in different tube internal diameters and thread sizes in inches.Aluminum are designated by the letter "D" after the suffix number of the product reference number (SKU).

Thermoplastic hydraulic hoses are used in certain hydraulic control applications where low volumetric expansion properties are desired for more precise actions or control. Such applications include those for precision gauging, pilot lines, steering lines, grease systems, as well as other applications which cannot be subject to conductivity (use around power lines) or where moisture cannot be present, such as for spray foam. As with "rubber" hydraulic hose, not all brands of thermoplastic hydraulic hoses are built the same even though they may meet the same SAE specifications. Higher end brand hoses will typically be made to higher tolerances, better compounds, better resistance to various factors, added durability, enhanced engineering methods, and additional assurance of a proven system. With leading, innovative manufacturers such as Aeroquip, the market has seen improvements in hose design - such as more flexibility, lighter weight, higher temperature compounds, tougher covers, less manufacturing defects, and overall more durable products.

ΕΑΤΟΝ SYNFLEX® thermoplastic hose and tubing has been replacing rubber hose or metal tubing designs offering customers a number of benefits, including flexibility, durability, abrasion resistance, lighter weight materials, superior chemical resistance, variety of colors, high pressure capability and extended product performance.

Each component of the SYNFLEX® hose assembly system is compatible with other approved Eaton components to which it relates ensuring a complete hose assembly system. Component compatibility, along with the use of quality components, insures the production of reliable hose assemblies when properly assembled. Intermixing of fittings and hose not specifically engineered and designed for use with each other and Eaton equipment is not recommended and may result in the production of unsafe or unreliable hose assemblies. This can result in hose assembly leakage, hose separation or other failures which can cause serious bodily injury or property damage from spraying fluids, flying projectiles, or other substances. The ΕΑΤΟΝ warranty is limited to apply only when approved ΕΑΤΟΝ hose fittings and compatible ΕΑΤΟΝ SYNFLEX® hose are used with Eaton assembly equipment.

The EATON AEROQUIP FC300 are AQP elastomer hoses with a blue, abrasion-resistant fabric cover with single wire braid reinforcement over a synthetic rubber inner tube for longer life.
