Cellulosic PFP Hempafire® Pro and Hempafire® Optima consist Hempel"s latest passive fire protection range comprising of solvent and water borne technologies, optimised for best-in-class performance and unbeatable productivity. Designed to provide fire protection from 60mins -120mins across building infrastructure projects. Hydrocarbon PFP provides up to 4 hours hydrocarbon passive fire protection. A lightweight coating with low dry film thicknesses for reduced project costs. Tested and certified in accordance with the UL 1709 standard.
Hempacore® range of intumescent coatings provide proven passive fire protection for cellulosic fires, as well as long-term performance and reliability.
HEMPEL Marine Coatings
Hempaguard® Hull Coatings
Range of high-performance hull coatings which integrate the unique silicone-hydrogel Actiguard® technology resulting in an exceptional low hull roughness an a very long-lasting antifouling effect. It not only leads to an immediate speed increase, resulting in fuel savings of up to 8 per cent right out of dry dock & during operation, regardless of the vessel’s speed, activity, and water temperatures, but it also ensures a very low average speed loss down to 1.2 per cent in the years to come.
Hull Antifouling Coatings
Atlantic+ hull coatings exhibit reliable long-term performance. Designed to protect the hull from fouling throughout service intervals of up to 60 months. Ensuring complete operational flexibility, the new antifouling is suitable for all vessel types and all water temperatures.
Dynamic antifouling coating ensures that the vessel benefits from low fuel bills across the entire docking interval. With perfect polishing, exceptionally low leach layers and best-in-class biocides, Dynamic is an ideal antifouling coating for vessels that travel at high speeds with relatively high activity levels.
Globic® Antifouling Coatings offer top-of-the-line antifouling performance and significant savings right from day one. Due to their water-activated nano acrylate technology, Globic® starts working as soon as the hull meets the water. This makes it ideal for newbuild vessels and vessels undergoing maintenance that will spend time beside the dock after the coating has been applied.
Olympic antifouling range provides reliability and proven performance across the entire docking interval. Reformulated with increase of the volume solids, raising the maximum dry film thickness per coat and reducing the VOC content to deliver even greater reliability, and lower costs, time and emissions during application.
Oceanic antifouling range has been designed for demanding sailing routes. It offers effective fouling protection, even in fouling aggressive waters and when slow steaming, without a significant investment cost. With high volume solids, a high maximum dry film thickness per coat and reduced VOC content, users benefit from lower costs, time and emissions during application.
HEMPEL Thinners
HEMPEL Thinner 08080 has been specifically designed for use with the Hempel Hempathane® range of coatings on a variety of different surfaces while it is ideally suited for use on structural steel in an external environment when mixed appropriately with the coating. Can be mixed to the Hempathane® range based on a percentage rate of usually between 5-10% and thins the substance out for a thinner coating. It can also be used for cleaning up brushes, rollers and surfaces after application.
HEMPEL Thinner 08450 has been designed for use with Hempadur® range of marine coatings and can also be used to clean any painting tools. It can be used on the same surfaces that the Hempadur® range has been specified that they can be applied on to such as structural steel and marine surfaces. it can also be used to clean up brushes and other painting tools, as well as surfaces where paint may have splashed. It can be mixed in with the Hempadur range of paints and coatings, at a percentage rate of 5-10%.
