DUC FLASH Inconel® Aircraft...

The FLASH propeller range manufactured by Duc Hélices feature an innovative design, specifically about its twisting axis and center of pressure.Their aerodynamic design allows a "constant speed" effect, limiting variations in engine speed between on ground and in flight. They also enable high efficiency throughout the flight envelope, improved takeoff and climb rate due to higher engine speed, high cruise extension in flight, high engine efficiency and user comfort.

The blades and the hub of the FLASH propeller range are manufactured according the DUC Hélices company technologies, from unidirectional layers of carbon fibers prepreg epoxy resin. Their composite structures are defined to obtain the maximum stresses in torsion and bending. Therefore "constant speed" effect is not related to deformation of the blade but its geometry and specific profile. Due to its specific geometric definition, excellent performance is obtained in both aerodynamic and acoustic, but also in consumption. The leading edge of the FLASH blades is equipped with a metallic shielding in Inconel®, a refractory stainless material with a very high surface hardness.

Depending on the model, FLASH propellers are offered with two, three or four blades, in tractor or pusher configurations (right & left rotation) and different diameters.

KIEV PROP In-Flight/Ground...

KIEV PROP manufactures a range of In-Flight and Ground Adjustable propellers with diameter of 1.7-1.8 m left rotation and diameter of 1.6-1.9 m right rotation in 3-, 4-, 5-, 6-blades options. They are designed for use  with aircraft engines incorporating a gearbox or belt drive reduction unit to slow the propeller rpm and provide shock absorption (Rotax, Hirth, HKS, BMW TakeOFF, Simonini). They can be used in ULM (ultralight) and LSA aircraft (airplanes, airtrikes, powered parachutes, sea planes, autogyros, experimental aircraft, airboats and ski planes). All KIEV PROP propellers feature:

- blades with brass protection of the leading edge for enhanced protection and longer life

- hub and installation kit (bolts and nuts),

- pitch adjustment device,

- fastening bolts,

- blades covers

- warranty 12 months from the date of purchase

- maximum output power on the driving shaft (hp): 140 (3 blades), 160 (4 blades), 180 (5-6 blades)

Available options:

- spinner (hub fairing) dia. 226 mm (8,9"),

- spacer (distance separator) of 15 mm (0.6"), 30 mm (1.2"), 40mm (1.55"), 57 mm (2.25") or 80mm (3.1").

McCAULEY Aircraft...

McCauley Propeller Systems is an aircraft propeller manufacturer, part of Textron Aviation Cessna. The company designs and manufactures an extensive range of fixed pitch, constant speed and full feathering propellers and related parts serving the needs of the regional airline, corporate and general aviation markets. McCauley propellers are standard equipment on aircraft worldwide such as: British Aerospace, Cessna, Commander, Fairchild, Maule, Mooney, Piper, Raytheon and others, as well as aircraft kit manufacturers.

McCauley product portfolio includes a full line of aluminum fixed pitch propellers for single - engine aircraft providing maximum performance -and minimum operating costs. Their constant speed and full-feathering series propellers feature McCauley's unique one-piece, oil-filled hub with threadless blade retention resulting in greater dependability, coupled with low cost and high performance.

In addition McCauley offers a range of related parts such as spinners, governors and control systems and de-icing systems. The spinners, available in natural and polished aluminum, enhance aircraft attractiveness while reducing drag by streamlining airflow resulting in improved engine cooling and ram-air induction.  McCauley governors deliver precision control - in any flight condition. By hydraulically adjusting the blade angles, governors monitor and control engine speed providing quick response and greater RPM stability. In addition to governors, McCauley provides other innovative control systems including synchronizers, synchrophasers and accumulators. Finally, the company's electric de-ice systems are effective, efficient systems that come with slip-rings, brush-block assemblies, wire harnesses, boots and timers. Fluid anti-ice systems are also available meeting high standards of quality and performance.
