(formerly Texas Instruments Sensors & Controls) are designed to interrupt short circuits or overloads and combines trip-free protection with fast response time. They feature a bi-metallic snap-acting disc as the sensing element and they are widely used in production and military aircraft where precise ultimate trip characteristics are required. Models PSM and PSM-N are available in the following ampere ratings 2, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 35. When ordering specify if neck-mounting style is wanted by placing “N” after ampere rating. Example: PSM-10N

The KLIXON® PDL series thermal breakers are designed to meet the harshest environmental requirements. They are weatherproof for protection against moisture, dust, grease, fuel vapors, and other harsh environments. For weatherproof circuit breakers in ratings from 50 to 150 amperes, order Model PDLM.

SENSATA TECHNOLOGIES...

The KLIXON® 7277 series circuit breakers are the commercial grade version of the 7274 series circuit breakers  which are small, lightweight, low amperage devices that are specifically designed to protect aircraft/aerospace cable and components in airborne vehicles and equipment. The KLIXON® 7277 series circuit breakers are physically and electrically identical to the 7274-2 military grade circuit breakers, with the exception that the 7277 series has wider calibration limits.  Klixon® 7277 series breakers have been designed for applications that do not require the tighter performance characteristics and approvals of 7277-2 series military circuit breakers.

Originally developed as an alternative to slow blow fuses, the trip–free 7277 series breakers are used extensively as primary electrical circuit protection on general aviation aircraft. The wider calibration limits of the 7277 has also resulted in applications including protection for data processing and telecommunications equipment, computers, flight simulators, construction, material handling and other industrial, electronic equipment. Suitable for use on trainer / simulator applications where all breakers are operated on low ampere control current, different ampere rating inserts (amp ratings on top of push button) can be ordered.

SENSATA TECHNOLOGIES...

The KLIXON® 7270/7271 series circuit breakers were designed to utilize less behind panel space while protecting wire and cable in aircraft and ground support equipment on either 120 VAC, 400 Hz or 30 VDC systems.

These circuit breakers are available with neck mounting (7270-1 and 7271-8) or standard cover plate (7270-7 and 7271-3). In each of these KLIXON® circuit breakers, the bi-metallic element assures uniform current distribution throughout its responsive area. This design reduces current density at the critical areas, resulting in an element having a much higher interrupting capability than conventional design. Inherently resistant to shock and vibration, the KLIXON® disc element is capable of precise calibration settings and will retain the initial calibration within close tolerances throughout the service life of the breaker. Both circuit breakers have conventional actuator action; i.e., the toggle actuator on the 7270 moves to the OFF position for trip indication and the button the 7271 pops out. A standard black button with a white collar is used. For additional information please refer to the attached documentation.

TIMKEN® Tapered Roller...

TIMKEN® tapered roller bearings are characterized by reliability, versatility and choice. They stand up to extreme situations, including high-corrosive, high-temperature, vacuum or low-lubrication environments. Uniquely designed to manage both types of loads on rotating shafts and in housings and offer a choice of nearly 26,000 product combinations, from single, double to four-row configurations and thrust bearings. Each bearing contains four interdependent components: the cone (inner ring), the cup (outer ring), the tapered rollers (rolling elements) and the cage (roller retainer). Tapered angles allow bearings to efficiently control a combination of radial and thrust loads. The steeper the outer ring angle, the greater ability the bearing has to handle thrust loads. To provide a true rolling motion of the rollers on the raceways, the extensions of the raceways and the tapered surfaces of the rollers come together at a common point, the apex, on the axis of rotation.

TIMKEN® Single Row (TS) bearings are basic and most widely used. Usually fitted as one of an opposing pair. They can be “set” to the required clearance (endplay) or preload condition to optimize performance. TSF type bearings, a TS variation, have a flanged outer ring to facilitate axial location and accurately aligned seats in a through-bored housing.

TIMKEN® Double Row Outer Ring bearings (TDO)  have a one-piece (double) outer ring and two single inner rings. Usually supplied complete with an inner-ring spacer as a pre-set assembly. They offer a wide effective bearing spread and frequently chosen for applications where overturning moments are a significant load component. Other bearing types include TDI (double-row double inner race) and TDIT (same as TDI with tapered bore). Both comprise a double inner ring and two single outer rings. Usually supplied complete with an outerring spacer as a pre-set assembly. TDI and TDIT bearings can be used at fixed (locating) positions on rotating shaft applications. Offered types include: TNA (double-row non-adjustable), TNASW (same as TNA with lubricant slots) or TNASWE  (same as TNSW with extended back face rib). They are similar to the TDO with a one-piece (double) outer ring and two single inner rings.  Supplied with a built-in clearance to give a standard setting range, these bearings provide a solution for many fixed or floating bearing applications where optimum simplicity of assembly is required.

For aerospace applications, different FAA PMA approved tapered single roller bearings are offered including TIMKEN® 13600, 13800 and LM813000 Series with a cone assembly and a cup. Offered in "inch" and "metric" versions LM813000 Series feature  minimization of friction between the rotating parts, handling of thrust loads, even load distibution across the roller, heavy load carrying capacity & stamped steel cage.

A hydraulic wiper or scraper prevents contamination of the hydraulic medium that could damage wear rings, seals and other components. They are installed in sealing configurations in hydraulic cylinders to scrape dirt, foreign particles, chips or moisture from the rod of a hydraulic cylinder as it retracts into the hydraulic system.

TRELLEBORG Turcon® and Zurcon® Excluders are Trelleborg proprietary design based double-acting hydraulic scrapers with matching o-rings or without o-rings.TRELLEBORG Turcon® Excluder® 2  double-acting o-ring energized hydraulic scrapers have two functions: a) to scrape contaminants from the retracting piston rod to prevent soiling of the system and b) to hold back the residual oil film on the extending piston rod on the medium side. The o-ring maintains the pressure while the Excluder® 2 performs the scraper function. Excellent sliding properties and stick-slip free.

TRELLEBORG Turcon® and Zurcon® Excluders are offered in Metric or Inch versions, in different sizes either as sets with matching o-rings or without o-rings. Metric version includes sizes 10 mm to 240 mm. Operating conditions: Temperature: -35 °C to 100 °C,  Speed (max):1 m/s. Appearing prices of Turcon® and Zurcon® Excluders relate to sets of scrapers and o-rings unless otherwise specified.

TRONAIR® ATA 29 Aircraft...

ATA-29 Hydraulic Power Service Units (HPUs) are multipurpose equipment, used for loading hydraulic oil in the aircraft or engine tanks, but also, allowing the aircraft actuators to be moved through their equipped high-pressure pumps and appropriate adapters for such effect. They also have filter lines to ensure that the liquid is not contaminated.

TRONAIR® offers ATA 29 Hydraulic Power Units to meet specific aircraft requirements including those of commercial, regional, and business airlines which use TRONAIR® HPUs to reduce aircraft filter changes and increase aircraft component life. TRONAIR® ATA 29 HPUs have the best high-grade filtration in the industry. TRONAIR® HPUs are available in different series and various configurations. Despite their differences all HPUs are powered by a motor (the primary source of power), which in turn powers the main pump to circulate hydraulic fluid from the reservoir throughout the entire system. Typically, motors are electrically powered. However, a few are gas and diesel-driven for outdoor usage. Other HPU components include the hydraulic pump which controls both the flow and the pressure within the unit, the reservoir (the storage area for the hydraulic fluid), the regulators which control or "regulate" the pressure lines and the relief and pressure supply lines which keep the pressure inside the hydraulic power unit level.

For more information please consult the supplied documentation on TRONAIR® HPU Technical Specifications & Optional Features.

Note: TRONAIR® ATA-29 Hydraulic Power Service Units (HPUs) are offered with or without CE marking (*). Listed HPUs are non CE rated. For CE rated versions please specify during ordering.

(*) CE marking indicates that a product has been assessed by the manufacturer and deemed to meet EU safety, health and environmental protection requirements. It is required for products manufactured anywhere in the world that are marketed in the EU.

TYCO ELECTRONICS TE...

TYCO ELECTRONICS TE CONNECTIVITY™ SOLISTRAND Series Terminals & Splices are specially designed to terminate solid and stranded wire, irregular-shaped conductors, and wire-conductor combinations while still retaining the superior performance characteristics of single-purpose terminals and splices. The series resists corrosion and vibration, and the tensile strength is well within the limits of commercial and military specifications. TE Connectivity offers SOLISTRAND crimping tools to ensure terminations are consistent and uniform for easier quality control and reliable performance. The TE SOLISTRAND line includes terminals, parallel and butt splices, flat rings, spades, hooks, and flanged tongue terminals in sizes from 26AWG (0.1mm2) through 600 MCM (304mm2).

Features & Benefits

SOLISTRAND terminals and splices are constructed of fine grade high conductivity copper for optimal electrical performance

The brazed seam increases metal strength around the entire barrel area assuring withstanding harsh industrial environments. It also prevents pinched and stubbed wires

The “W” crimp – two longitudinal crimps – and the dimples or serrations inside the wire barrel  offer maximum electrical contact area after crimping and higher tensile strength. This permits the use of a shorter barrel, which end up in a smaller form factor and makes it more cost effective

Bell mouth on barrel entrance makes insertion of wires easier and reduces installation time and increasing production yield

Most SOLISTRAND terminals and splices meet or exceed the requirements of SAE AS7928, Type I, Class 1 and 2. Aircraft-, defense- and marine (related) equipment base their performance requirements on AS7928

Rated for up to 170°C maximum and therefore suitable in all standard applications.
