The HEIM® BEARINGS HM M/HF M Series aircraft rod ends, male and female threaded respecively,have rod end bodies made from aircraft quality carbon steel and magnafluxed for a high degree of assurance of rod end integrity. Balls  are made from 52100 alloy steel, heat treated and chrome plated on brass race inserts. These series were originally intended for general aviation applications and is also used in many industrial applications where rod end reliability is critical.

Oval shaped copper sleeves used in making eye or lap splices in flexible cable. Sleeves are slipped over the two strands of cable to be fastened and are then compressed with special Nicropress hand squeezers. Provides a bond that is even stronger than a standard splice. They are offered in pure copper or zinc/tin coated for different cable sizes in inches. Plain copper ("18" series) and zinc coated sleeves ("28" series) are used with galvanized cable, and tin coated sleeves are to be used with stainless steel cable. 

Anchor nuts (aka nutplates or anchor plates) are terms used interchangeably and relate to stamped sheet metal fasteners with an internally threaded tube and a plate with two clearance holes for rivets. They are used in blind mounted panel applications in aerospace and other industrial sectors where hex nuts cannot be used or an attached nut is required for ease of maintenance. 

Anchor nuts can be Fixed or Floating, the latter being easier to use due to their built-in nut (threaded hole) able to "float" slightly thus providing a convenient connection point for threaded rods, such as bolts, from the backside. In the case of Fixed anchor nuts, the built-in nut is static (i.e. without the capability to “float”) and the threaded rod must be positioned perfectly over the hole. Self-locking anchor nuts are those with a built-in locking mechanism preventing them from loosening over time from vibrations. They are extensively used in aerospace, automotive, and construction industries.

Depending on their intended application, nutplates conform to different military, aerospace, ISO or other industrial standards such as the German DIN, U.S. (ASME & ASTM, IFI, ANSI), British BS, Japanese JIS and others. They are offered as OEM parts under their respective brands or under our own labelled (AVIATIONEU NEW ERA) product lines intended as cost-effective alternatives to the respective OEM products. Listed in accordance with their standard of compliance, Fixed and Floating nutplates come in different materials (such as steel or CRES & finishes),  in single/double lug configurations and Metric ISO οr Unified thread sizes. There is currently no U.S. Military Standard (MS) specification for Metric nutplates. Depending on the selected product and availability, nutplates can be supplied with a dry film lube specified by the letter "L" in the respective part number. Sourced from quality manufacturers, AVIATIONEU NEW ERA MS21073/MS21074 series nutplates are fixed self-locking, low height corner, miniature anchor nuts. Those included in MS21073 series are manufactured from cadmium plated carbon steel while the MS21074 nutplates are produced from corrosion resistant steel (CRES). They are available in different Unified thread sizes, with plain or countersunk rivet holes on each side and come with or without a dry film lube. Sold in pieces but also in packs where the specified number of nuts per pack is indicated after the letters "PK" in the product reference number (SKU). MIL-DTL 6000D Soft Flexible Aircraft Fuel (*), Oil, Water & Alcohol Rubber Hoses (superseeding MIL-DTL-6000C hoses) are offered as part of our own labeled (AVIATIONEU NEW ERA) product lines. They replace the respective MIL-DTL 6000C hoses.

These hoses are designed to handle oil, alcohol, coolant, and water.  The tube of these hoses is oil resistant with a black cover reinforced with high strength mildew resistant yarns. It withstands extreme temperature conditions from -40 deg. F to +250 deg. F.  Lightweight, flexible and easy-to-handle, they meet or exceed U.S. military specs and consist the right choice for hard-to-get-to spots in tight engine compartments. Their burst pressure is 1000 PSI (400 PSI for the hose with ID 2-1/2 in.). 

AVIATIONEU NEW ERA MIL-DTL 6000D hoses are available in different internal and outer diameters in inches. Priced and sold in feet in one foot increments. The last part of our product reference code (SKU) indicates the inner diameter of the hose in inches.

Honed tubes/pipes are also known as  hydraulic or pneumatic cylinder tubing due to their primary uses for their production or repair. They are tubes with their inside diameter either honed or skived & roller burnished resulting in extremely precise inside diameter (ID) dimensions and smooth ID surfaces. Honing is an abrasive machining process involving the use of abrasive polishing stones and abrasive paper to remove small amounts of material and improve surface geometry and surface texture.The manufacturing process is determined upon the tube dimension, mold availability and customer ewquirements. Honed tubing is used in applications where a high precise inside diameter dimension and a smooth inside surface are required.

TIMKEN® tapered roller bearings are characterized by reliability, versatility and choice. They stand up to extreme situations, including high-corrosive, high-temperature, vacuum or low-lubrication environments. Uniquely designed to manage both types of loads on rotating shafts and in housings and offer a choice of nearly 26,000 product combinations, from single, double to four-row configurations and thrust bearings. Each bearing contains four interdependent components: the cone (inner ring), the cup (outer ring), the tapered rollers (rolling elements) and the cage (roller retainer). Tapered angles allow bearings to efficiently control a combination of radial and thrust loads. The steeper the outer ring angle, the greater ability the bearing has to handle thrust loads. To provide a true rolling motion of the rollers on the raceways, the extensions of the raceways and the tapered surfaces of the rollers come together at a common point, the apex, on the axis of rotation.

TIMKEN® Single Row (TS) bearings are basic and most widely used. Usually fitted as one of an opposing pair. They can be “set” to the required clearance (endplay) or preload condition to optimize performance. TSF type bearings, a TS variation, have a flanged outer ring to facilitate axial location and accurately aligned seats in a through-bored housing.

TIMKEN® Double Row Outer Ring bearings (TDO)  have a one-piece (double) outer ring and two single inner rings. Usually supplied complete with an inner-ring spacer as a pre-set assembly. They offer a wide effective bearing spread and frequently chosen for applications where overturning moments are a significant load component. Other bearing types include TDI (double-row double inner race) and TDIT (same as TDI with tapered bore). Both comprise a double inner ring and two single outer rings. Usually supplied complete with an outerring spacer as a pre-set assembly. TDI and TDIT bearings can be used at fixed (locating) positions on rotating shaft applications. Offered types include: TNA (double-row non-adjustable), TNASW (same as TNA with lubricant slots) or TNASWE  (same as TNSW with extended back face rib). They are similar to the TDO with a one-piece (double) outer ring and two single inner rings.  Supplied with a built-in clearance to give a standard setting range, these bearings provide a solution for many fixed or floating bearing applications where optimum simplicity of assembly is required.

For aerospace applications, different FAA PMA approved tapered single roller bearings are offered including TIMKEN® 13600, 13800 and LM813000 Series with a cone assembly and a cup. Offered in "inch" and "metric" versions LM813000 Series feature  minimization of friction between the rotating parts, handling of thrust loads, even load distibution across the roller, heavy load carrying capacity & stamped steel cage.

The EATON AEROQUIP AE102 Aerospace  Firesleeve was specially developed to meet the fire resistance requirements of FAA TSO C53a or TSO-C75. This firesleeve can be indentified by its orange colored outer surface.  It can be used for all fuel, oil, hydraulic, fire extinguisher & propeller feathering lines for "Fire-proof"(*)  hose lines functioning effectively within a continuous operating temperature range of -65F to +450F (-54C to +232C). It is denser and more tightly woven and has more fiberglass than most of the competition. Even the thickness of the protective silicone is better. Available in different internal diameters in inches. Sold by the foot.

The EATON AEROQUIP AE102 can be used with EATON AEROQUIP hoses and 900591B clamps to secure firesleeve material on each end over the basic hose assembly. Please refer to chart for correct size or contact us for additional information.

SAE-AS1035/MS24402/AN824 series tee, flared tube fittings are available as part of our own labelled (AVIATIONEU NEW ERA) product lines in different materials, tube outer diameters and thread sizes in inches. The AN824 series tee fittings are superseded by the respective fittings of SAE-AS1035 series (SAE International, Standard SAE AS1035, FITTING, TEE, STANDARD AND REDUCER, FLARED). They are manufactured from Carbon Steel, Aluminum Alloy, Corrosion Resistant Steel (CRES), Titanium Alloy. The 2 digits after the series code indicate the tubing outer diameter (O.D.)  in inches. The following Material Code Letters in the part numbers indicate the composition of the fitting. Finish code “V” in the PN indicates high purity Aluminum coating for “W” or “D” fittings. 

Depending on their Part Number they are sold in pieces but also in packs a with specified number of fittings indicated after the letters "PK" in the product reference number (SKU).

AVIATIONEU NEW ERA RNB brazed seam lug type battery terminals are made from brass and are tin plated. They can be used for control cabinets & similar applications. The seam in the barrel of the terminal is brazed allowing the terminal to be crimped in any position around the barrel, which helps give extra wire holding strength. Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) devices are components that make use of the ability of piezoelectric materials to convert acoustic (i.e. mechanical) waves into electromagnetic signals, and vice-versa. By far, the most common SAW devices are those which perform a filtering operation, also known as SAW filters. SAW Band Pass Filters (SAW BPF) sort signals by frequency the most widely used substrates being quartz (SiO2), lithium niobate (LiNbO3) and Lithium tantalite (LiTaO3) that are very brittle materials.

Usually SAW filters operate from 600 MHz to 2 GHz frequency range in mobile environment. Based on IF (Intermediate Frequency) and RF (Radio Frequency) filtering, there are two types of filters, IF SAW and RF SAW filters. In addition, based on construction, there are different  types of offered SAW filters such as IIDT, DMS and ladder.

Main advantages or benefits of SAW filters include:

• they allow electro-acoustic coupling via the transducer

• SAW velocity is 105 times less than that of Electromagnetic (EM) wave. As a result, SAW filters can be used in cases where EM wave based filter designs are impractical to be developed

• SAW filters are less expensive compared to BAW (Bulk Acoustic Wave) filters

• SAW filters are easy in fabrication due to easy access to their structure from the above surface of the filter.
