The EATON AEROQUIP FC300 are AQP elastomer hoses with a blue, abrasion-resistant fabric cover with single wire braid reinforcement over a synthetic rubber inner tube for longer life. Made from 14L 12 steel and cadmium plated, SAF-AIR FAA-PMA approved push type fuel drain valves are close tolerance valves of simple design. These valves provide the most trouble free operation of any other line of valves in the industry. SAF-AIR valves are manufactured with an o-ring placed on the stem to seal against a flat seat on the body. This design eliminates an area where dirt can gather, thus putting an end to the main cause of fuel drain valve drip. Available in eight models in two styles with or without 1/4" hose adapter.

FAA/PMA certified, TEMPEST® operate in 14 to 28 volt systems of modern aircraft and use an internal high-flow filter element that can be easily replaced when specified by aircraft maintenance manuals. Use of TEMPEST® Platinum Electronic Fluid Pumps in most Cessna aircraft requires installation of tank modification SK421-26C service kit separately priced.

The pump filter element must be changed when specified by the aircraft maintenance manual or when the pump output/pressure diminishes (an event that may indicate a dirty clogged filter). A universal Filter Kit  P/N KIT-P1 is offered which fits all Aero Accessories Platinum Pumps and includes filter P/N 79729, gasket P/N 79136 & O-ring P/N 79139-2.

Filler opening caps are parts basically circular in shape, designed to cover or seal the filler-neck or inlet opening of a fuel tank, radiator, oil reservoir, liquid storage tank or the like. They are either permanently attached or provided with a means of removal and replacement. 

Pressure refuel caps are used to lock, seal, and vent the pressure refuel port for an aircraft fuel tank. Pressure refueling allows for single point refueling on larger aircraft and can be used with all aircraft fuels. To fuel the aircraft, the caps are manually actuated by pressing down on the handle, which will vent and unlock the cap for removal by twisting. The cap remains attached to the aircraft by a lanyard. Once refueling is complete, the cap is inserted back onto the adapter and twisted until locked into place, which effectively reseals the pressure refuel port.

Pressure refuel caps are offered by different manufacturers such as Parker Aerospace, Eaton Coporation and others. They are designed in accordance with military specification MIL-C-8605B (for technical requirements) and MS29526-2(for envelope requirements).

Those from Parker Aerospace are 4.5 inches diameter, with an indexing feature and they fit into a 2.5-inch pressure refuel adapter per military specification MS24484. Their main features include an aluminum base and handle, a fluorosilicone O-ring seal, and antisparking brass chain lanyard (per industry standard RR-C-271) with a plastic tubing cover and corrosion resistant steel hooks.  Lanyards can also be fabricated with corrosion-resistant steel or flexible plastic and fuel resistant tubing. Optional features are also available such as key lock, ventilation, hinge, visual fluid level indicator, dust cover easy-lift handle and contoured adapter.

NEWTON CONSULTING offers a range of SPRL branded fuel valves featuring distinct features that make them better than the rest. Ceramic disks have no soft moving/rubbing seals to wear out, unlike other valves but also give an 'indefinite' life with a very smooth light action. The lift and turn selector of SPRL valves is instinctive, secure, and easier to use than the complex 'lift button' type. The locking detents avoid accidental movements. The fixings match most installations, and the internal ports prevent cross feeds, unless 'selected to 'Both'. Their lightweight alloy construction is anodized for protection while the Viton O-ring seals are suitable for all current fuels. Male AN fittings enable plumbing straight into the aeroplane system with no extra fittings required.

The SPRL Valves, as designed, have a very nice 'feel' and are logical in use, however, there is a requirement in FAR 23 whereby the fuel valve must be turned from OFF to an ON selection simply by turning it, i.e. it should not have to be lifted up, pushed down etc, and it should also not be possible to turn it from an ON position to OFF without a dent.

Although FACET® GOLD-FLO solid state fuel pumps were certified and often used on UL and VCA aircraft, they were not FAA approved and as per their manufacturer statement, they were not designed, tested or manufactured for aircraft applications. Tempest FAA-PMA approved Platinum Electronic Fluid Pumps (separately listed) can be used as Facet Gold-Flo fluid pump replacements in this case. LENZ externally-mounted tank hydraulic suction line strainers are offered in different NPT and SAE series below to cover the needs of a range of applications.They do not require access to the tank interior for ease of servicing and feature perforated steel support tubes, cast iron bushings and 100 mesh stainless steel pleated screens as standard.

Part Numbers include subsections for the Series, the Size, the By-pass Option and the Mesh Oprion of the strainer.

The PARKER HANNIFIN electronic plug amplifier VS 111 provides control for proportional pressure, directional, and throttle valves.

The plug amplifier may be mounted directly on the proportional solenoids and secured with a screw. The output of the amplifier supplies DC current for controlling one proportional solenoid.

This current is proportional to the command signal at the input of the amplifier. Through this, together with a proportional valve, an infinitely variable adjustment can be made to the pressure or flow.
