Aircraft braking systems serve a vital function during takeoff, landing and taxiing. Along with landing gear, aircraft wheels and brakes are critical to ensure safe and reliable aircraft ground operations under extreme forces, stress, as well as wear and tear from general operation and the environment. The KLIXON® 7270/7271 series circuit breakers were designed to utilize less behind panel space while protecting wire and cable in aircraft and ground support equipment on either 120 VAC, 400 Hz or 30 VDC systems.

These circuit breakers are available with neck mounting (7270-1 and 7271-8) or standard cover plate (7270-7 and 7271-3). In each of these KLIXON® circuit breakers, the bi-metallic element assures uniform current distribution throughout its responsive area. This design reduces current density at the critical areas, resulting in an element having a much higher interrupting capability than conventional design. Inherently resistant to shock and vibration, the KLIXON® disc element is capable of precise calibration settings and will retain the initial calibration within close tolerances throughout the service life of the breaker. Both circuit breakers have conventional actuator action; i.e., the toggle actuator on the 7270 moves to the OFF position for trip indication and the button the 7271 pops out. Military Specification MS35058 Series Toggle Switches can be used to upgrade your aircraft's cockpit controls. These heavy-duty metal switches have a standard shape that works well for a variety of applications can be used for most components that only function in either the on or off positions. They are available in several sizes to fit your particular airplane and are shipped with all necessary rings and hardware for installation. Double Pole Double Throw (DPDT) Changeover (66.22 and 66.82). Commonly used to separate two circuits electrically and connect them magnetically. They are often used to interface an electronic circuit, which works at a low voltage to an electrical circuit which works at a high voltage.

Wire/cable dash controls are locking units securing wires/cables from turning loose from vibrations. These controls can be mounted from front or rear of instrument panel.

T-handle dash controls are offered as part of our own branded (AVIATIONEU NEW ERA) product lines. They are sourced from quality manufacturers and made from duralumin and brass. One-fourth turn locks them in any position. T-handle dash controls have a width of 1-3/4" and a standard 2-1/2" travel. They can hold up to 100 lbs. Oval shaped copper sleeves used in making eye or lap splices in flexible cable. Sleeves are slipped over the two strands of cable to be fastened and are then compressed with special Nicropress hand squeezers. Provides a bond that is even stronger than a standard splice. They are offered in pure copper or zinc/tin coated for different cable sizes in inches. Plain copper ("18" series) and zinc coated sleeves ("28" series) are used with galvanized cable, and tin coated sleeves are to be used with stainless steel cable. 

AS81820 Standard bearings are Plain Self-Aligning, Self-Lubricating ,Low Speed bearings with a -65 TO +325 °F temperature operating range offered in different specifications with those of SAE AS Standard superseding the Military Standard  respective parts.  AS81820 Standard bearings include AS14101/MS14101 narrow, grooved race, AS14102/MS14102 wide, chamfered race, AS14103/MS14103 wide, grooved race, and AS14104/MS14104 narrow, chamfered race.

AS14101/MS14101 and AS14104/MS14104 bearings included in this presentation are offered as OEM parts by different manufacturers including RBC® BEARINGS, NEW HAMPSHIRE BALL BEARINGS® (NHBB), AURORA BEARING COMPANY® and others as well as their replacements by NATIONAL PRECISION BEARING® (NPB).

SAE-AS14102 and SAE-AS14103 (separately listed) supersede those of MS14102 and MS14103 specifications. They are both are wide plain spherical bearings, self lubricating self aligning, and low speed, designed for operation in high temperature environments  (-65°F to +325°F  or -53.9°C to +162.8°C). Their inner and outer rings are made from Corrosion Resistant Steel (CRES). AS14102/MS14102 series bearings come with a chamfered outer ring while those of AS14103/MS14103 series come with a grooved outer ring. All aircraft fuel systems have filters and strainers to ensure that the fuel delivered to the engine(s) is free from contaminants. The first of these is encountered at the outlet of the fuel tank. A sump is used to encourage the collection of debris in the lowest part of the tank, which can then be drained off before flight. The actual tank outlet for the fuel is positioned above this sump. Some type of screen is used to trap contaminants attempting to flow out of the tank into the fuel system. Finger screens (strainers) are common on light aircraft. They effectively increase the area of the fuel tank outlet, allowing a large amount of debris to be trapped while still permitting fuel to flow. They are screwed into a fitting welded in the tank outlet.

Offered finger strainers are intended for use in fuel tank outlets. They are available in standard and lage sizes. Standard size features a brass fitting with 3/8" male pipe thread which fits AN867-3 welding flange, and 1/4" female pipe thread for valve or fuel line fitting. Screen is 16 mesh brass. Large finger strainer has a 3/8"-NPT x 1/2"-M-NPT brass bushing with a T304 stainless steel screen.
