GROVE 400x4 Main Wheels and Brakes are manufactured to the same exacting standards the 5" and 6" series wheels and brakes. Brake Calipers utilize standard brake pads and O-ring seals. Fit standard 3/4" axles. They feature a static load rating of 700lb. per wheel and a kinetic energy 72,000 ft-lb.
GROVE 5" Main Wheels are available in either Aluminum or Magnesium, fit standard 1-1/4" axles, have felt dust seals and use precision tapered roller bearings. Brake discs are machined from a one piece forging. Brake calipers utilize standard brake pads and seals.

GROVE G-8 Series are rugged 8" wheels and brakes with a large diameter brake disc that provides the extra stopping power required for large diameter tires, even with the original Cub Scott master cylinders. The 8 inch tubeless wheels are specially designed for the large diameter Desser 27.5x10-8 4 ply Aero Classic Tundra tires. Machined from billet aluminum and black anodized for corrosion protection they feature a static load rating of 1,250 lbs. and a kinetic energy rating of 247,000 ft-lbs. These wheel and brake assemblies have been tested to, and meet the rigorous standards of FAA-TSO-C26d and are FAA-TSO certified. However, for installation on certified aircraft, futher FAA approval, such as a Field Approval, is required. GROVE 10" Tubeless Main Wheels & Brakes come with a large 8" brake rotor for better braking power and feel. FAA-TSO Approved tubeless tire sizes: 8.50-10, 29x11.0-10 & H31x11.0-10. GROVE Nose Wheels are precision CNC machined from A356T aluminum or AZ81A-T4 magnesium and feature tapered roller bearings and felt grease seals. Offered in 4", 5" and 6" sizes. The 4" nose wheels are ideal for use in light sport aircraft. They are offered in different models. NEWTON CONSULTING offers a range of SPRL branded fuel valves featuring distinct features that make them better than the rest. Ceramic disks have no soft moving/rubbing seals to wear out, unlike other valves but also give an 'indefinite' life with a very smooth light action. The lift and turn selector of their SPRL valves is instinctive, secure, and easier to use than the complex 'lift button' type. The locking detents avoid accidental movements. The fixings match most installations, and the internal ports prevent cross feeds, unless 'selected to 'Both'. TIMKEN® tapered roller bearings are characterized by reliability, versatility and choice. They stand up to extreme situations, including high-corrosive, high-temperature, vacuum or low-lubrication environments. Uniquely designed to manage both types of loads on rotating shafts and in housings and offer a choice of nearly 26,000 product combinations, from single, double to four-row configurations and thrust bearings. Each bearing contains four interdependent components: the cone (inner ring), the cup (outer ring), the tapered rollers (rolling elements) and the cage (roller retainer). Tapered angles allow bearings to efficiently control a combination of radial and thrust loads. The steeper the outer ring angle, the greater ability the bearing has to handle thrust loads. To provide a true rolling motion of the rollers on the raceways, the extensions of the raceways and the tapered surfaces of the rollers come together at a common point, the apex, on the axis of rotation.
TIMKEN® Single Row (TS) bearings are basic and most widely used. Usually fitted as one of an opposing pair. Their rod end bodies are made from 4340 alloy steel, heat treated, magnetic particle inspected, cadmium plated and chromate treated. Balls are made from 440C on 17-4PH race inserts and heat treated.

MATCO mfg manufactures an extensive range of master cylinders for brake applications. MATCO mfg's MCMC-4 master cylinders use a REMOTE reservoir and are offered in different models. They can be mounted vertically or horizontally (Universal) to the exterior reservoir and can be used in individual or dual brake applications. They use a 0.625 inch diameter piston and Buna-n o-rings. Mil-H-5606 aircraft hydraulic fluid or compatible fluids are reccomended. DOT5 may be used but not DOT5.1 which contains glycol. DOT3 and DOT4 may not be used and will cause immediate damage to the seals. Tested to a maximum of 1200 psi. Normal operation: 400-600 psi. The MCMC-4 has an adjustable clevis.

SUPERIOR PANEL TECHNOLOGY (SPT) has developed a brighter, more uniform and longer lasting glare shield lighting system. The 18” x 1” glow strip electroluminescent lamps provide a beautiful fluorescent-like aviation green or a white light output. BC207 High/Low Voltage Warning Indicator by B&C SPECIALITY PRODUCTS is a solid-state device which provides a visual indication of abnormal bus voltage via a panel-mounted warning light (included). It is intended for use in non certified aircraft. Not FAA Approved. When flashing,the warning light indicates a bus voltage greater than 15.5 volts D.C. When steady, it indicates a bus voltage below 12.5 volts D.C. The product also includes B&C S708-2 Miniature Push-Button switch (push-to-test). The BC207 Voltage Warning Indicator can be used in both 14v and 28v electrical systems.
AIRFRAMES ALASKA designs and manufactures ALASKAN BUSHWHEEL (ABI) wheels & brakes and tires made for flying and landing off-field in the most rugged backcountry conditions. ABI tires absorb the energy of rough landings, taking the brunt of the impact off the pilots, wheels, gear, and airframe. Unlike your standard aircraft tires, Bushwheels are tubeless. This distinctive design eliminates the problem of tire slippage and stem shearing and makes it possible to run these tires at very low PSI. Different models are offered to suit needs of aircraft operating conditions. ABI tires are FAA TSO C62d approved. Models are available in the following versions and fit standard 6" wheels unless otherwise mentioned:
Standard thread: 3/16"
Heavy thread: 1/4". Heavy tread 26" ABI tires are constructed with a thicker tread layer. Suitable for pilots operating their aircraft on pavement between backcountry flights.
The 26" ABI tires are designed and handcrafted for use on lighter aircraft such as Cessna 182 & Cessna 206. They're also the ideal "entry level" bush tires for pilots upgrading from standard tube type aviation tires for the first time.
A step up in terms of size, 29" ABI tires have a slighter profile and create less drag than larger Bushwheels. This places these bush tires in size/weight sweet spot for heavier aircraft like Cessna and Maule while still providing the footprint and energy absorption critical in bush landings.
The 31" ABI tires are handcrafted featuring an impressive ratio of weight to size. Their solid footprint makes these bush tires the de facto standard for bush pilots.
The 35" ABI tires are designed for the most rugged off-airport operations. They require ABI 10650 10" wheels.
The 35" Beaver ABI tires stand up to the heavier load of de Havilland Beaver and Pilatus aircraft with a gross weight up to 5600 lbs (2800 static load rating per tire).
DYNON AVIONICS AOA/Pitot probes perform two functions: airspeed and angle of attack sensing. These functions require having two pressure ports on the tip of the probe. The normal pitot pressure port is on the front face of the probe and is designed to be insensitive to angle of attack. The second pressure port is located on an angled surface just under the pitot port and is designed to be very sensitive to AOA. They are under-wing mount, L-shaped probes which can be installed easily with simple plug-n-play integration with Dynon and Advanced Products.Their installation requires a mounting bracket sold separately. The pressure from each port is delivered via separate air lines to the instrument where they are compared to previously calibrated scenarios specific to the aircraft. Competitively priced, they are offered in Non-Heated and Heated versions. The Heated AOA Pitot includes a nichrome heating element that is regulated by a separate pitot heater controller unit supplied with the pitot. The controller actively monitors a temperature sensor embedded within the pitot head and regulates the power to maintain a constant temperature. This not only conserves energy but additionally prolongs the life of the heater. The controller also outputs a signal that can be wired to a warning light in the cockpit to warn the pilot anytime there is a malfunction or that the pitot is turned off.
Clip-Locking Turnbuckles utilize 2 locking clips instead of lock-wire for safety. The turnbuckle barrel and terminals are slotted lengthwise to accommodate the locking clips. After the proper cable tension is reached the barrel slots are aligned with the terminal slots and the clips are inserted. The curved ends of the locking clips expand and latch in the vertical slot in the center of the barrel. They are available for different cable diameters and thread sizes in inches covering desired minimum breaking strength requirements.Different turnbuckle components are used in turnbuckle assemblies. GROVE Wheels and Brakes are precision engineered and manufactured to provide the highest quality and performance in the aircraft industry. GROVE wheels are manufactured in both aluminum and magnesium. Aluminum wheels are more corrosion resistant than magnesium, are less expensive, but weigh more. Both have the same strength and performance ratings. They are offered in sets (kits) in different sizes to comply with tire and axle sizes and static load ratings to match the static aircraft gross weight on each wheel. GROVE brakes are offered for different braking torques, a function of the hydraulic system pressure and total caliper piston area, and with different kinetic energy capabilities. Aircraft with oversized tires or with a larger than normal engine should consider brake calipers with more or larger pistons. Different brake discs offered absorb the heat energy developed during braking.
