The ORION A600 PG/PR code 4 lighting system by WHELEN AEROSPACE TECHNOLOGIES (WAT) combines a wing tip anti-collision white strobe with forward and tail position conventional navigation lights in one unit which can be used as a replacement for conventional teardrop type navigation lights. Tail position light eliminates the need for a tail mounted position light.
WHELEN A600 PG/PR incorporates red or green nav light on the forward section, a strobe light with magnifying glass lens in the center and a clear tail position light on the aft portion. Newly developed magnifying strobe lens (A 612) concentrates the maximum xenon light energy in the horizontal plane increasing the light intensity by two to five times. The tail position light on the wingtip gives turning reference to the aircraft behind by displaying angle and white bank while turning. It also eliminates the need for a tail mounted position light which may be omitted when using A600 lighting system. FAA-PMA Approved. Available in 14 or 28 VDC and in a radio-shielded versions.
Available in 14 or 28 VDC and in a radio-shielded version. The forward position lamp is 26 watts and the taillight lamp is 25 watts.
Product Specifications:
Weight: 0.8 lbs. (363gm)
Position Lamps Power Consumption: 4 amps @ 14 VDC; 2 amps @ 28 VDC
Exposed Height: 2.4” (61mm)
Length: 5.63” (143mm)
Width: 1.7” (43mm)
This product series is no longer available. Please refer to model 90340 which is a direct replacement (exact footprint) for the model A600PG/PR without replacing the current strobe power supply.
The A350CN series instrument post light assemblies from WHELEN AEROSPACE TECHNOLOGIES (WAT) are designed to illuminate the instrument panels and function as instrument mounting bolts. Identical to the A350 Series but with the connector nut. Available in different versions with white or red lens and 12 or 28V electrical power supplies.
Fine quality switch from ACS used in many aircraft. The switch housing is machined from billet aluminum which makes this switch 25% lighter. It provides “ON” and “OFF” electrical control of both magnetos on a single engine aircraft. The key-operated switch mounts from the rear of the panel in a 7/8” dia hole. Available with or without starter position. A-510-2 model with starter position is supplied with switch plate two keys. (diode included). FAA PMA Approved. Made in USA.
BRS AEROSPACE™ has first invented the first Whole Aircraft Rescue Parachute System (WARPS) in 1980 currently being installed on more than 35,000 aircraft. Today the company offers a wide range of WARPS suitable as retrofits to Cessna series 172 and Cessna 182, as standard installations on Cirrus SR20 and SR22 models but also for installations on LSA and experimental aircraft.
BRS WARPS are offered in 3 different types:
Canister. The BRS Canister is waterproof when the original factory seal remains intact, making it the perfect design for exterior installations. With a six year repack schedule and versatile mounting hardware, it is one of the most popular systems.
Softpack. The BRS Softpack is best suited for aircraft manufactur-ers that require a ballistic parachute mounted inside their aircraft. When mounted internally, this system also has a six year repack schedule.
VLS - Vertical Launch System. Built specifically for aircraft with limited interior space, the VLS (Vertical Launch System) installs on top of the wing or fuselage. Upward firing works well with pusher designed aircraft
A small solid-fuel rocket is used to pull the parachute out from its housing and deploy the canopy fully within seconds. Typically on ultralight installations the rocket is mounted on the parachute container. On larger aircraft installations the rocket may be remotely mounted. The current version, BRS-6. has a separate rocket installation that can be removed from the parachute so that the parachute can be sent for re-packing without the problems of trying to ship the rocket along with it. Typically the parachute requires repacking every six years and the rocket requires replacing every 12 years.
OMRON M2C Series cylindrical indicators have the basic design as the A3C pushbutton switches. They have a cylindrical 20-mmX12-dia. body making panel cutouts easier and provide good illumination with even surface brightness. These indicators are offered in lighted and non lighted versions, different colors, display shapes, with LED or incandescent lamps and different socket units. UL (E41515) and CSA (LR45258) approved. Please consult the supplied documentation for ordering.
GROVE Wheels and Brakes are precision engineered and manufactured to provide the highest quality and performance in the aircraft industry. GROVE wheels are manufactured in both aluminum and magnesium. Aluminum wheels are more corrosion resistant than magnesium, are less expensive, but weigh more. Both have the same strength and performance ratings. They are offered in sets (kits) in different sizes to comply with tire and axle sizes and static load ratings to match the static aircraft gross weight on each wheel. GROVE brakes are offered for different braking torques, a function of the hydraulic system pressure and total caliper piston area, and with different kinetic energy capabilities. Aircraft with oversized tires or with a larger than normal engine should consider brake calipers with more or larger pistons. Different brake discs offered absorb the heat energy developed during braking.

The RBC® BEARINGS offers a full line of airframe control ball bearings to the aerospace industry in both “Standard” and “Precision” series. The prefix “M” in a bearing number indicates that it is of a precision series. Although designed and manufactured under demanding quality control requirements for airborne systems, these bearings have been successfully used in many industrial applications, where oscillatory movement, high loads, or corrosive environments are prevalent.
RBC® BEARINGS airframe control ball bearings conform to SAE-AS7949 (formerly MIL-B-7949) and many major OEM specifications. These bearings are of lightweight design, corrosion-resistant, grease-lubricated, and typically sealed. Airframe control bearing rings and balls are made of hardened bearing alloy, AISI 52100, with all exposed surfaces, except bearing bore, caps and seals, plated for corrosion protection. For improved corrosion protection, RBC® BEARINGS supplies bearings made of hardened stainless steel alloy, AISI 440C. This alloy may be passivated or plated with cadmium or zinc nickel for enhanced corrosion protection.
The RBC® BEARINGS MKSP/MKSP-A SAE-AS7949 Precision Series airframe control self aligning bearings are single row, heavy duty (MKSP) or medium duty (MKSP-A) ball bearings with PTFE seals and CRES sealcaps. These bearings are self aligning for 10 Deg. in either direction except those with part numbers MKSP4A, MKSP5A and MKSP6A which are self aligning for 8 Deg. in either direction. The RBC® BEARINGS MKSP/MKSP-A bearings conform with MS27645-R specifications. External surfaces (except bore, caps, and seals) are cadmium plated. They come prelubricated for life and are also offered with CRES 440C material and/or zinc nickel plating per OEM specifications. For additional information please refer to the supplied documentation.
