(*) Retread tires have undergone a remanufacturing process to replace the worn tread on used tires with new tread to help extend the life of the tire. The number of times the  tread has been replaced in the tire casing is indicated by a number just after the letter "R" in the product reference number (SKU), namely R1, R2, R3 and so on.

Clip-Locking Turnbuckles utilize 2 locking clips instead of lock-wire for safety. The turnbuckle barrel and terminals are slotted lengthwise to accommodate the locking clips. After the proper cable tension is reached the barrel slots are aligned with the terminal slots and the clips are inserted. The curved ends of the locking clips expand and latch in the vertical slot in the center of the barrel. They are available for different cable diameters and thread sizes in inches covering desired minimum breaking strength requirements.

The FIRST letters "R" or "L" following the dash number designate a RIGHT HAND THREAD or LEFT HAND THREAD respectively.

The SECOND letters "S" or "L" following the dash number indicate a SHORT LENGTH or LONG LENGTH respectively.

Standard single universal joints from CURTIS UNIVERSAL JOINT operate through angles of 35 degrees. For applications requiring greater angles, special design can be employed, enabling the joint to operate at angles up to 45 degrees. Joint is permanently assembled with small bearing pin riveted in place.

RBC SAE-AS7949 MS27646 B500DD Series Airframe Control Extra Light Torque Tube Ball Bearings are single row, self-aligning, extra light duty ball bearings with PTFE seals and cadmium plated exposed surfaces except bore, caps, and seals. This series is dimensionally interchangeable with the unsealed B500 series. MS27646 B500DD Series bearings are prelubricated for life and are also offered with CRES 440C material and/or zinc nickel plating per OEM specifications. The MS27643/AS27643 series airframe control bearings are offered by various manufacturers. They are  double row, ball, self-aligning, heavy duty bearings produced in accordance with AS7949 specification.

Depending on the manufacturer, rings and balls of these bearings are produced from premium quality AISI 52100 chrome steel or CRES 440C materials.  External surfaces (except bore, caps, and seals) are cadmium plated per AMS-QQ-P-416 or zinc nickel plated per OEM specifications. They include PTFE seals, CRES sealcaps and they are prelubricated. They are offered in different sizes but custom sizes, materials, tolerances, radial internal clearances, lubrication, plating, etc., can also be offered upon request.

The CONFOR™ foam family (formerly Temperfoam™) by Aearo Technologies LLC (E-A-R), are open cell elastomeric, ergonomic, urethane foams forming part of their specialty foams for comfortable seating, crash protection and noise and vibration control.

CONFOR™ foams offer enduring seating comfort, and absorb a much higher amount of impact shock compared to common polyfoam. They can be used for long period seating applications in aviation, automotive, recreational, office, in medical hospital bedding, sports equipment, wheelchair cushions, industrial operations, or as protective packaging for high value devices.

Standard CONFOR™ product line has been replaced by CONFOR™ M & AC RoHS compliant foams with the same slow recovery attributes as the replaced ones. They come in different sheet sizes (the most popular 16" x 18", 18" x 20", 18" x 24"),and densities, corresponding to different foam weights per cubic foot and denoted by a respective color code (Yellow/Very Soft (CF40 M/AC), Pink/Soft (CF42 M/AC), Blue Medium ((CF45 M/AC), and Green Firm (CF47 M/AC).

CONFOR™ CF42AC & CF45AC foams  are softer and provide more comfort. CONFOR™ green firm density foam CF47AC provides the best energy absorption protection. 

CONFOR™ AC foams are offered in different thicknesses, as solid pieces (e.g. in 1" thickness) or various pre-built  laminates resulting in higher thicknesses. DYNAFOAM is also often used as comfort foam on top of CF-47AC foams. Indicative offered laminations include:

- 1" thickness CF47AC sheet and 0.5" thickness DYNAFOAM sheet. Total laminate size - 16" x 18" x 1.5". Ideal balance for most pilots. 

- 1" thickness CF45AC and 1" thickness CF47AC sheet. Total laminate size - 16" x 18" x  2". Ideal for maximizing safety providing comfort at the same time.

- 0.5" thickness CF47AC and 0.5" thickness DYNAFOAM sheet. Total laminate size - 16" x 18" x 1". Ideal for tall pilots with minimal head clearance.

Their centres are forged from 6063 or 6082 aluminum and then polished and anodised. The high precision and easy to operate mechanism is very secure and non vented. An extensive range of standard MIL-SPEC and Cessna pulleys and pulley kits is offered by McFARLANE® AVIATION. The kits contain all pulleys and cotter pins required to replace all flight control system pulleys in one airplane containing the respective part numbers and quantities required. Different McFarlane pulley series include: 

MCS378 Series phenolic flight control pulleys with ball bearings, FAA-PMA approved replacements for the Cessna S378, A-/BB-, and NAS383- series pulleys on Cessna Aircraft. The MCS378- series pulleys supersede these for most Cessna aircraft applications and  feature high quality sealed precision ball bearings, superior to low grade, open seal bearings used in the Cessna S378-()L light duty series pulleys that they replace.

MS20219 Series aircraft secondary control pulleys, superseding the respective AN219 series pulleys are offered either with high pressure laminated phenolic sheave (MS20219 Series) or aluminum alloy sheave anodized per MIL-A-8625 (MS20219A Series), both with fixed ball bearing with contact seal. The aluminum body is recommended for -1 and -3 pulleys. The -1 pulley should not be installed in flight control systems.

MS20220 Series flight control pulleys with phenolic body and ball bearings with seal. These supersede the respective AN220- Series pulleys. Also available with aluminum body (MS20220A).

MS24566 Series phenolic flight control pulleys with ball bearings. MS24566 pulleys can be used to replace the corresponding AN210 pulleys designated by the letters "A" or "B" in their dash numbers as they differ in the maximum load limit.

NAS383 Series phenolic commercial grade pulleys with graphite impregnated bronze sleeve bearings. These are typically used with a bushing. The MCS378 pulley replaces both the NAS383 pulley and it's bushing.

S394, S1052-1/ S1710-1 Cessna nylon pulleys with no bearings.

S378-4S Cessna pulley similar to S378-4 but with smaller diameter. Used on Cessna airplanes 177RG s/n 177RG0202 and on, and F177RG0038 and on for routing stabilator, stabilator trim, and rudder cables. Six required per aircraft.

TYCO ELECTRONICS TE CONNECTIVITY™ PIDG ring tongue terminals  are available in different colors, wire sizes (AWG) and stud sizes. Appearing sizes are in inches. Each TE CONNECTIVITY™ insulated terminal consists of a tin plated copper body, a tin plated copper wire support sleeve and a color-coded insulation sleeve. They meet respective MIL specification.

McFARLANE® AVIATION MS27975-1 fork rod end is internally threaded 1/4"-28 to fit threaded 1/4" diameter rod. Manufactured from 4130 steel. Used for engine controls.
