PARKER HANNIFIN STRATOFLEX Hoses

Stratoflex 111 Medium Pressure Hose is a Hydraulic/Fuel/Oil General Aircraft hose intended for use in aircraft hydraulic, pneumatic, coolant, fuel and oil systems specified in MS33620. Meets or exceeds the requirements of MIL-H-8794. Tube is seamless synthetic rubber. Reinforcement includes one fiber braid and one high tensile steel wire braid. Cover is fiber braid impregnated with oil and mildew resistant rubber. Temperature ranges: -65°F to +250°F (-54°C to +121°C) for hose sizes -4 thru-12, -48°F to +250°F (-40°C to + 121°C) for size -16.

Stratoflex 112 Steel Reinforced rubber tube is suitable for use in 3000 psi hydraulic systems, air or inert gas applications. The tube is seamless BUNA-N reinforced by two or more high tensile steel wire braids with a synthetic rubber cover. Temperature range: -65˚ to +200˚ F.

Stratoflex 130 Medium Pressure Hose includes a seamless buna-N compounded inner tube, reinforced with one fiber braid, one wire braid of high tensile steel wire, and cover of synthetic rubber-impregnated, oil resistant fiber braid. The cover is to be black in color. Used in medium pressure service with petroleum base fuel and oil. Temperature ranges:  Oil or Fuel: -40°F to +300°F, Oil or Fuel (Not Flexing): -65°F to +300°F, Oil and Air Mixtures: -40°F to +250°F.

Stratoflex 156 and 176 hoses are Medium Pressure hoses identical in qualification and performance, meeting or exceeding  the functional requirements of MIL-H-83797. They feature an improved Seamless HSP elastomer inner tube for better high-temperature resistance and essentially unlimited shelf life. Reinforcement-One and one-half corrosion-resistant steel wire braids. Intended for use with medium pressure service with most petroleum base oils, JP fuels, aviation gasoline, MIL-L7808 and MIL-l-23699 lubricants, and many synthetic base fluids. Not affected by alcohols, coolants, and solvents common to the aerospace industry. Temperature range: - 65°F to +300°F (- 55°C to +149°C)

Stratoflex 193 is a Low Pressure hose meeting or exceeding the MIL-H-5593 requirements. Features a Seamless Buna-N tube with one braid of high tensile fiber cord reinforcement and a synthetic rubber cover. Suitable for low pressure air and vacuum instrument systems. Vacuum service 20 Hg sizes -2 thru -6; 10 Hg sizes -8 and -10. Temperature range: -65°F to 165°F (-54°C TO +74°C). Equivalent to Aeroquip 306 hose.

STRATOFLEX PTFE Hoses

Stratoflex medium- and high-pressure PTFE hoses are designed for reliable fuel, oil, and hydraulic fluid conveyance in even the most demanding aerospace systems.  Aerospace fluid systems demand hose assemblies that perform well under pressure and provide years of reliable service. Stratoflex  PTFE hose assemblies are constructed with seamless, smooth-bore inner tubes for maximum flow and include a thin layer of carbon to eliminate static charge buildup.  Braided with stainless steel for durability and wear resistance, Stratoflex  PTFE materials are designed to withstand all aircraft fuel, oil, coolants, and solvents. In addition, they feature an unlimited shelf life. Backed by years of aerospace engineering experience and design capabilities, our PTFE hoses will provide the performance you need with the reliability you expect. Each PTFE hose assembly meets industry specifications based on its configuration. They come in various types, withstand a maximum fluid temperature of up to 450 °F, feature a bend radius from 0.75- up to 14 in and a weight from .0066 lbs/in up to .1080 lbs/in.

Stratoflex 124 is a Medium Pressure hose meeting or exceeding the requirements of MIL-H-27267 and MIL-H-25579. The tube is from extruded tetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). Reinforcement for sizes -3 through -12, one corrosion-resistant steel wire braid, for sizes-16Z through -24Z, two corrosion-resistant steel wire braids. Used in high-temperature aircraft hydraulic, ballistic, pneumatic, fuels, lube oils, coolants, solvents, and most missile fuels and oxidizers. Temperature range: -65°F to +450°F (-54°C to +232°C).

Stratoflex 171 is a PTFE High Pressure hose with appearance almost identical to the 124 hose. Meets or exceeds the requirements of AS1624 and AS1339 (formerly MIL- H-38360). Used in high temperature and high pressure aircraft and missile hydraulic systems. Temperature range: -65°F to +400°F (-54°C to +204°C).

Stratoflex 191 is a PTFE hose Meeting or exceeding the requirements of AS1339 (formerly MIL-H-38360) except temperature. Construction includes an extruded conductive polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) Tube, High density braid of corrosion resistant steel wire reinforcement, a PTFE barrier for corrosion resistance and an integral braided Cordura cover for abrasion resistance. Used in high pressure aircraft hydraulic systems (for landing gear). Temperature range: -65°F to +275°F (Brief excursions to 300°F). Benefits for the user include:

• Up to four times more abrasion resistant than comparable polyester-covered products.

• New PTFE corrosion/contamination barrier provides protection in harsh environments.

• Lightweight construction.

• Non-aging PTFE.

STRATOFLEX Firesleeve

Stratoflex 2650 firesleeve is a  red (orange) silicone fiberglass firesleeve meeting AS-1072 specifications. Temperature range (firesleeve only): -65°F to 450°F (-54°C TO +232°C).
