Lenz gauges are an ideal choice for OEM and industrial applications requiring economical dry or liquid filled pressure gauges to monitor system pressures and temperatures. In addition to their extensive range of dry or liquid filled pressure gauges Lenz product portfolio includes digital pressure gauges, pressure transmitters, and several protection devices such as gauge isolators & snubbers, chemical seals, siphons, and port adapters for their gauges.
LENZ Glycerin-filled pressure gauges can be supplied in Brass (BAC Series) or Stainless Steel (AFC Series)case materials but also with Stainless Steel csse and internals (SS Series). They are all offered with standard bottom or rear center connections and 2.5" and 4" dual P.S.I and Bar dial options with 2.0" option also available for AFC Series.
Lenz gauges and transducers are well known for their accuracy and reliability and entrusted for demanding applications worldwide. Their key features include:
Dual Face: White coated aluminum face with black coated aluminum pointer.
Completely sealed unbreakable plexiglass lens for long life under the most rugged conditions.
Bourbon Tube from copper alloy up to 800 P.S.I. & safety coiled copper alloy for 800 P.S.I. and higher. For the 4" gauges, their respective bourbon tubes are made of copper alloy up to 1500 P.S.I. & safety coiled alloy steel, 1500 P.S.I. and higher.
In case blow-out plug operation is necessary, the gauge can be serviced in the field for refilling glycerin.
Precision machined and highly finished bearing surfaces of LENZ gauges are practically frictionless providing dependable accuracy. The movement of all internal parts is permanently sealed and dampened by the glycerin fluid. The effects of pulsation and vibration are virtually eliminated. No pointer flutter.
A rubber disc relief valve (Safety Blow-out Plug), located on top of the gauge, vents case pressure build-up at 5 P.S.I. Acts as a filler cap.
A Restrictor assists in dampening, acting much like a pressure snubber.
LENZ gauges are individually packed in rugged corrugated mailer type boxes for protection during shipping or on the shelf.
