HONEYWELL BENDIX KING® Panel Mounted DME

BENDIX KING® Silver Crown Plus line of Panel Mounted 100 watt KN 62A and 50 watt KN 64 DME are self-contained, 200-channel systems, which can be channeled remotely through almost any NAV receiver or tuned directly with their own frequency selection knobs. They offer dual channeling capability with two DME frequencies available at all times (one remote & one stored internally). Also feature redesigned faceplates for improved readings' illumination, large sturdy knobs and a three-position function switch for easy operation. They operate on any 11 to 33 VDC voltage without adapters or power converters while due to their modest power requirements no external cooling is needed.

BENDIX KING® TSO'd KDI-572 or KDI-574 DME Displays can be used as master display controls and  information displays from KN 63 remote DME transceiver. The top-quality KDI 572 DME displays distance, groundspeed, and time-to-station all at the same time. Slant-range distance is computed digitally and displayed up to the maximum range of 399 nautical miles. Station lock-on is typically achieved within three seconds, with accurate groundspeed and time to station computations becoming available within one minute. The KDI 572's single control switch offers easy operation of the entire DME system as well as DME channeling. It has settings for ON/OFF, NAV 1, NAV 2, and DME HOLD. The PAI-700 TSO'd Vertical Card Compass is manufactured exclusively by Precision Aviation, Inc. This non-liquid (dry) type compass is magnet driven thus it is subject to lead and lag, however, these tendencies are greatly reduced due to the absence of pendulosity.  It is inherently stable due to the use of eddy current damping which is a natural phenomenon built into the basic design and as such has no overshoot. The PAI-700 has been designed to replace the float/liquid type compasses eliminating leaking fluid or backward azimuth readings. Available for Southern and Northern Hemisphere and different supply systems (5V, 14V and 28V). Precision Avionics Inc. also manufactures different compass brackets for overhead or glare shield mounting.

The Precision PAI-700  Vertical Card Compass consists of a 2" vertical rotating dial which is compared with a fixed miniature airplane (lubber line) to present the magnetic heading of the aircraft at all times. Heading information is more natural because the heading is read at the12 o'clock position and off the nose of the miniature aircraft. The compass card rotates and presents all quadrants in their true relation to line of flight. Requires no power (except for lighting) to operate. Installed in many current production aircraft & helicopters. Size: 2-7/8"H x 2-3/8"W x 2-1/8"D. Wt. 0.6 lb. After installing compass must be compensated using standard compensation procedures. Also used in sailplanes.

Sigma-Tek 5000B Series Attitude Indicators (Artificial Horizons) are air-driven gyros that have a pictorial horizon mask and fixed airplane. The mask moves to indicate climb, dive, and bank. Bank and pitch attitudes are displayed so that the pilot’s sensing of the gyro indication is the same as the interpretation of the relation between the wings of the aircraft and the natural horizon during visual flight. These instruments are FAA certified (TSO-C4c), and can be used to replace the aircraft’s turn coordinator when equipped with an inclinometer. Different versions available mainly based on the layout, dispay colors, warning flag and lighting capabilities. Lighted indicators do not include lamp trays which are sold separately based on the aircraft voltage (14V or 28V).

The GARMIN® GMA 342 is an affordably priced yet loaded with features TSO'd panel-mounted audio panel providing direct slide-in replacement for legacy GMA 340 or select third-party units. It can support dual comm, dual nav, 3 aux receivers and 2 wired stereo music inputs — enhanced with bass boost levels, equalizer settings and exclusive 3D Audio technology that spatially separates the multiple communication sources entering the pilot's headset.  Up to 2 dedicated stereo music sources can be connected via the unit’s rear connectors. With stereo headsets, incoming audio is spatially separated to reflect how different audio sources come from different directions. WULTRAD INC. is a manufacturer of non-certified flight and engine instruments under FALCON GAUGE brand for experimental and homebuilt aircraft. Although their products are Non-TSO, they are made to TSO or MIL specifications for quality.

FALCON GAUGE Electrical Attitude Gyro is intended for use in experimental aircraft only. It provides a continuous visual display of the aircraft attitude with respect to the earth for maneuvering around the longitudinal (pitch), and lateral (roll) axes, and yaw. A precision AC brushless motor is featured in the electrical attitude gyro. The Power failure drops into view whenever the power is insufficient for operation of the gyro. Electrical gyro can be caged by pulling the "Pull to Cage" knob. It is offεred with or without internal lighting and is designed to work with a 12V system. Dimension: 3-3/8"X 6.46/164mm.

GARMIN® GTX™ 330 is a panel-mounted IFR-certified 250 W, Mode S digital transponder with traffic datalink capability and dedicated pushbutton keys for squawk code selection. The GTX™ 330 series brings ATC aircraft surveillance to new levels of precision, reliability and performance. Optionally available with 1090 MHz extended squitter transmission, certified to TSO-C166b authorization, the GTX™ 330 ES (Extended Squitter) provides an affordable pathway to ADS-B compliance for the Next Generation airspace system. The extended squitter technology enables transponders to automatically transmit traffic surveillance data (including aircraft flight ID, position, altitude, velocity, climb/descent, and heading information) compared to traditional Mode S and Mode C transponders, which can only broadcast altitude, and thus require a ground-based radar to correlate and identify the aircraft's position. In addition, simultaneous broadcast of this information to TAS or TCAS equipped aircraft, enables them to essentially see the same traffic picture for their location that ATC is watching on the ground. The ‬“ES” upgrade provides a ADS-B‭ ‬Out‭ solution but an input from an approved position source is still needed as GTX™ 330 does not have a WAAS GPS.

GARMIN® GTX™ 330 is discontinued and replaced by GTX™ 335, an entry-level ADS-B Out model‭ with a version integrating an  internal WAAS GPS. If ADS-B‭ ‬In capability is required then the the GTX™ 345 transponder should be selected.

OMRON A3C series cylindrical pushbutton switches have the basic design as the M2C Series cylindrical indicators. They provide a high-intensity uniform surface lighting while they have a miniature size with excellent feeling of operation. They have a cylindrical 20-mmX12-dia. body making panel cutouts easier. These switches are offered in lighted and non lighted versions, different colors, display shapes, with LED or incandescent lamps and different socket units. UMA NON TSO'd Electronic Amp Meter Gauges (Ammeters) are available in different series for different measurement ranges and installation in different panel hole diameters. 1-1/4" series allow utilization of panel space without compromising readability. They can be powered from 14 or 28 volts. Signals are acquired from remote mounted sensors, processed and displayed on analog dials with easy to read markings. Each gauge uses rugged aircore meter movement for vibration resistance and repeatability. Each gauge can be placed in a 1-1/4” diameter hole and mounted behind the panel with (4) 6-32 screws. They can be cluster mounted as close as 11/2” centers. Also available as new manufacture electric with 2-1/4" dia. Other UMA series of electronic ammeters include 2-1/4" series with moving coil and 85° Sweep and 2-1/4" Dual Amp/ 0-30 volt meters with moving coil  and 85° sweep.

These ammeters come with the suitable shunt. Different shunts are used depending on ammeter part number.

All Part Numbers beginning with the letter "T" are TSO'd for Certified Aircraft.

DYNON AVIONICS AOA/Pitot probes perform two functions: airspeed and angle of attack sensing. These functions require having two pressure ports on the tip of the probe. The normal pitot pressure port is on the front face of the probe and is designed to be insensitive to angle of attack. The second pressure port is located on an angled surface just under the pitot port and is designed to be very sensitive to AOA. They are under-wing mount, L-shaped  probes which can be installed  easily with simple plug-n-play integration with Dynon and Advanced Products.Their installation requires a mounting bracket sold separately. The pressure from each port is delivered via separate air lines to the instrument where they are compared to previously calibrated scenarios specific to the aircraft. Competitively priced, they are offered in Non-Heated and Heated versions. The Heated AOA Pitot includes a nichrome heating element that is regulated by a separate pitot heater controller unit supplied with the pitot. The controller actively monitors a temperature sensor embedded within the pitot head and regulates the power to maintain a constant temperature. This not only conserves energy but additionally prolongs the life of the heater. The controller also outputs a signal that can be wired to a warning light in the cockpit to warn the pilot anytime there is a malfunction or that the pitot is turned off.

UMA airspeed indicators are fully FAA TSO'd to C2d specifications for installation on certified aircraft. Installable in a fixed wing aircraft with a reciprocating or turboprop engine. Must be installed in a temperature controlled environment form -55 to 85°C, to a max altitude of 25,000 ft. These airspeed indicators are available in different versions, 2-1/4",Single Speed MPH and 3-1/8" single or dual scale (MPH/Knots) versions with an outside/Inside scale: 40-200 MPH/40-170 Knots, housed in a Valox 420 Plastic case and weighting 8.6 oz. They are offered with or without certification. ASI markings are sold separately for each unit at additional cost. Please select the markings option if markings are required. 

United States Military Standard RG58 Coaxial Cables are flexible and lightweight coaxial cable with a solid 20 American Wire Gauge (AWG) conductor, a 50-ohm characteristic impedance and maximum voltage rating of 1,900 volts. They feature a low-density polyethylene dielectric insulation with a dielectric constant of 2.3 and a diameter of 0.116 inches (2.9mm), a tinned copper braided shield and a PVC jacket. The outside diameter of the cable is 0.195' (4.95 mm), which makes it suitable for indoor and vehicular use where size matters. It is best for signal frequencies up to 1GHz, where its attenuation is 14.5 decibels per 100 feet. Above that frequency, attenuation increases, and at 5GHz it is approximately 60 dB/100 ft. RG58 coaxial cable supports 10Base2 Ethernet.

These cables come in different versions (types) corresponding to different conductors including RG58 (pure annealed copper conductor), RG58/U (single solid core copper conductor), RG58A/U (multi-core tinned copper conductor with generally low loss foamed insulation)  or RG58C/U (multi-strand tin-plated copper conductor and polyethylene solid core). RG58 A/U Coaxial Cables with PVC jacket are ones most used in WiFi, Wireless LAN, GSM, and Monitoring and Control of Network Infrastructure Sites. Also they are standard cables for avionics installations in experimental (non-certified) aircraft.

The mil-spec coaxial specification version of RG58 is the M17/28-RG58 Coaxial Cables. These cables are like their standard RG58 counterparts except that they feature a stranded tinned copper conductor and the outer conductor is a 36 AWG tinned copper braid.

RG58 Coaxial Cables are offered as part of our own labelled (AVIATIONEU NEW ERA) product lines. Sourced from quality manufacturers they priced and sold by the foot or meters (depending on the manufacturer). They can be furnished in standard or cut to order lengths.

Connectors compatible with RG58 coaxial cables are also offered and include BNC bayonet connectors, Low-Profile screwed TNC connectors and screwed FME connectors.

FALCON GAUGE G-Meters (Accelerometers) measure G forces acting on the airframe during turbulent or aerobatic maneuvers. One pointer provides a continuous reading, the other two indicate maximum positive and negative loads. FALCON G-Meter models are mechanical and offer precision, accuracy, and durability. They are also easy to operate. No wiring necessary. The units come with the locking knob set to the locked position.  Do not press the reset button until after moving the locking knob to the unlocked position.

FALCON GAUGE GM510-2 G-Meter is a standalone 57 mm (2 1/4") unit which fits a standard 2 1/4" instrument cutout.
