HONEYWELL BENDIX KING®  TSO'd KMA 24 & KMA 24H Audio Panels ae probably ones of the most common audio panels found in aircraft. They are compact, self contained, fully solid-state TSO'd Audio Panels featuring push button audio selector panel, speaker and headphone isolation amplifiers, and a marker beacon receiver. The KMA24 controls as many as 3 transceivers and 6 receivers, including the internal marker beacon receiver and its automatically dimmed 3-light indicator. The KMA 24H controls up to 5 transceivers and 5 receivers, or 4 transceivers and 6 receivers. The KMA24H includes the internal marker beacon receiver and VOX intercom, which provides unprecedented flexibility. 

BENDIX KING® KMA 24 & KMA 24H Audio Panels are DISCONTINUED products. Although some NEW units may be available under special order or while stocks exist, they are mostly offered for outright sale or in exchange / trade-ins  (*) for returned customer owned units in USED (Serviceable or Overhauled) Conditions (**) and  accompanied by the relevant certification (e.g. yellow tag, 8130-3 form). The letters "SV","OH" and "EX" in the product reference numbers (SKU) indicate the condition/sale terms. Racks & connectors (for new installations) are sold separately.

(*) In the case of an exchange/trade-in option of a customer unit, the  full selling price of the ordered unit is charged and the core credit is refunded or credited towards future orders when our co-operating supplier verifies that the unit is in a reasonable, repairable condition. It is recommended that this option is selected by our customers mainly for upgrades and only in cases when their units are functioning properly at the time removal from the aircraft. The 730/830 Engine Monitoring Systems (EDM) from JP INSTRUMENTS revolutionize engine monitoring by the compact size integration of a full color graphical LCD display with the extremely popular EDM 700/800 series functionally. Both 730 and 830 EDMs feature: colourful graphics, larger data display for easy reading, parameters in full colour, annunciation of exceedances, less page swapping, more data per page. The units are "Plug and Play" compatible with existing EDM-700/800 units. Oil pressure has also been added to the entire EDM series line.  Both 730 and 830 are FAA approved for use as secondary engine monitors. "AR" Series connectors from AMPHENOL are multi-purpose connectors used in aerospace, military and computer periphery applications. Designed per ARINC 404 specifications AR connectors utilize pin and socket contacts manufactured in conformance with MIL-C-39029. They meet or exceed the requirements of MIL-C-81659 and ARINC Specification 404.

These connectors are available in five shell styles with up to four insert cavities. Inserts in AR product line accommodate signal and power contacts in sizes 12, 16, 20 and 22. WULTRAD INC. is a manufacturer of non-certified flight and engine instruments under FALCON GAUGE brand for experimental and homebuilt aircraft. Although their products are Non-TSO, they are made to TSO or MIL specifications for quality. 

FALCON GAUGE  Electrical Turn Coordinator is used for displaying the angular rate and sideslip of turning in horizontal flying and turning. The inclinometer indicates the slip angle of the aircraft while in a turn. A power failure flag drops into view whenever the voltage drops below a level for proper operation. The Turn Coordinator incorporates a built-in voltage regulator so it can be used with either 14VDC or 28VDC power system. It is compact in size and light weight eliminating radio interference.

This small, lightweight unlighted turn coordinator is excellent for homebuilt aircraft. Works for 14 Volt or 28 Volt systems. Features, power out warning flag with a 0° Panel. Fits Standard 3-1/8" Cut Out, 3-3/4" long.

MIL-DTL-26482 Standard Series II connectors are widely used on applications in aerospace environments requiring a general-purpose, miniature cylindrical bayonet connector.They are environmentally sealed and offered different receptacle-mounting styles.

TKM AVIONICS offers different NAV/COMM radios as slide-in replacements of legacy products from BENDIX KING and other manufacturers. The Michel MX-170 by TKM was introduced in early 1984 aiming to replace legacy BK radios such as KX-170A, KX-170B, KX-175, KX-175B type transceivers. The latest TSO'd MX170C with 760 VHF COMM channels and 200 NAV channels is designed to be electrically and mechanically interchangeable (slide in replacement) with the Bendix King KX170 and the Bendix King KX175 series of NAV/COMM radios. Like other TKM radios,the MX170C NAV/COMM has nice features and excellent performance. The dual color LED frequency displays are self-dimming, showing standby frequencies with red and active frequencies with yellow color. The channeling outputs are for 40-channel glide slope (King Glide Slope) and 200 channels (King Slip Code). The MX 170C operates on 13.75 Adc maximum current in transmit. UMA NON TSO'd Electronic Amp Meter Gauges (Ammeters) are available in different series for different measurement ranges and installation in different panel hole diameters. 1-1/4" series allow utilization of panel space without compromising readability. They can be powered from 14 or 28 volts. Signals are acquired from remote mounted sensors, processed and displayed on analog dials with easy to read markings. Each gauge uses rugged aircore meter movement for vibration resistance and repeatability. Each gauge can be placed in a 1-1/4” diameter hole and mounted behind the panel with (4) 6-32 screws. They can be cluster mounted as close as 11/2” centers. Also available as new manufacture electric with 2-1/4" dia. Other UMA series of electronic ammeters include 2-1/4" series with moving coil and 85° Sweep and 2-1/4" Dual Amp/ 0-30 volt meters with moving coil  and 85° sweep.

The KANNAD 406 AS (P/N S1823502-03) is a aeronautical survival beacon. Thanks to its small size and light weight, the Kannad 406 AS fits easily inside a liferaft. It is supplied with a floating collar.

The KANNAD 406 AS is qualified by the French Civil Aviation in Europe with JTSO-2C91a & JTSO-2C126 and by FAA with TSO-C91a & TSO-C126 applied to “survival” beacons.

The ELT is programmed with either the aircraft tail number, a serial number or the aircraft operator designator. It can be installed inside an aircraft on a mounting bracket or in a carry-off bag (both on options).

The mounting bracket option includes a locking pin to avoid accidental activation before ELT removal. The locking pin can be ordered separately with the carry off version.

The ELT can be fitted with a "Water Switch Sensor" to be activated automatically when in contact with water. A buzzer and a led indicate activation.

An integrated “self test” checks the main functions of the beacon. The test result is given by the led flashing sequence.

DYNON AVIONICS AOA/Pitot probes perform two functions: airspeed and angle of attack sensing. These functions require having two pressure ports on the tip of the probe. The normal pitot pressure port is on the front face of the probe and is designed to be insensitive to angle of attack. The second pressure port is located on an angled surface just under the pitot port and is designed to be very sensitive to AOA. They are under-wing mount, L-shaped  probes which can be installed  easily with simple plug-n-play integration with Dynon and Advanced Products.Their installation requires a mounting bracket sold separately. The pressure from each port is delivered via separate air lines to the instrument where they are compared to previously calibrated scenarios specific to the aircraft. Competitively priced, they are offered in Non-Heated and Heated versions. The Heated AOA Pitot includes a nichrome heating element that is regulated by a separate pitot heater controller unit supplied with the pitot. The controller actively monitors a temperature sensor embedded within the pitot head and regulates the power to maintain a constant temperature. This not only conserves energy but additionally prolongs the life of the heater. The controller also outputs a signal that can be wired to a warning light in the cockpit to warn the pilot anytime there is a malfunction or that the pitot is turned off.

 Automatic flight control systems (AFCS) are aircraft autopilot systems with many integrated features initially found only on high-performance aircraft but nowadays installed on modern aircraft of any size. The HONEYWELL BENDIX KING® KI 525A HSI is a pictorial navigation indicator used in the KCS-55A compass system which also includes KG-102A Directional Gyro, KMT-112 Magnetic Azimuth Transmitter (flux valve), KA-51B Slaving Control & Compensator Unit and optionally KA 52/KA 57 Autopilot Adapters. It was a popular avionics upgrade for light aircraft until the advent of the Sandell electronic HSI and, more recently, glass-cockpit systems from Garmin, Aspen and others. This indicator combines the display functions of both the standard directional gyro and the course deviation indicator offering the pilot a single view of the horizontal navigation situation. It greatly simplifies course orientation, interception, and tracking resulting in less work from the pilot. Internally lighted, the KI 525A operates at 14 or 28 VDC.

The HONEYWELL BENDIX KING® KI 525A HSI is available in different models to serve application requirements:

- with bootstrap heading synchro to provide source of slaved heading information for any device, such as an autopilot

OMRON A3C series cylindrical pushbutton switches have the basic design as the M2C Series cylindrical indicators. They provide a high-intensity uniform surface lighting while they have a miniature size with excellent feeling of operation. They have a cylindrical 20-mmX12-dia. body making panel cutouts easier.
