FLYBOX® Product Portfolio Overview

My-EMS & Vigilus Engine Monitoring Systems

Offered in  4 versions MY-EMS units feature light weight (230g), installation in a reduced panel space (3-1/8” (80mm) cut-out ), and a user-friendly interface that ensures seamless navigation and accessibility to essential functions, empowering pilots with unparalleled control.

Vigilus offers unparalleled control over engine parameters and onboard fuel management. It consists of a graphical display (3.5” with adjustable brightness, clearly visible even when exposed to direct sunlight) and an external probe connection module (Remote Module). Designed to fit into a standard 3-1/8” (80mm) hole, Vigilus combines intuitive functionality with a user friendly graphical interface with clear and concise data presentation across multiple pages. Customizable to suit various aircraft engines including Rotax 912/914, Rotax iS series, Rotax 503/582, Jabiru, D-motor, Lycoming,Continental, Edge performance, UL-Power. Other engines are under development.

Also available for applications on helicopter and gyrocopters. Capability to set alarms and audio alerts according to user preferences.

Engimaster EMS Engine Monitoring Systems

A lightweight, compact and streamlined Engine Monitoring Systemfor both rotary and fixed-wing aircraft, with versatile mounting options even for the smallest panels. Featuring a 4.3” screen, EngiMaster delivers a lot of crucial information, including up to 6 Exhaust Gas Temperatures (EGTs) and Cylinder Head Temperatures (CHTs). Three easily accessible screens:

Main page showing Rotor RPM, Engine RPM, MAP, Oil, Pressure and Temp, Coolant temp, EGTs, CHTs, Fuel pressure and quantity.

2nd page displaying Volt, Amp, IAT and OAT gauges, as well as the different Hobbs meters readings.

3rd page (datalogger) featuring an easy to use data viewer allowing scroll through all the engine and optional probes collected data.

Possibility to set alarms and audio alerts according to user preferences

Oblò,  Oblò 2 and Eclipse NG Electronic Flight Instrument Systems (EFIS)

Oblò integrates a digital attitude indicator, primary flight data display, and an optional autopilot into a single, compact, and lightweight instrument (300g). Easy to install, it fits in a standard 3-1/8” (80 mm) cutout. Primary designed as a backup instrument.

Features: State-of-the-art custom TFT LCD for excellent visibility even in direct sunlight. Adding Oblò-Rep to the primary Oblò EFIS unit, allows a second screen with an always default configured EHSI or Drum altimeter. Oblò displays true aircraft attitude thanks to the integrated AHRS inertial platform, equipped with solid-state sensors (gyros, accelerometers and magnetometers) and a complex adaptive algorithm. In addition to Oblò standard functions,Oblò2 offers new colors, graphics and Wi-Fi capability to receive flight plans from tablets and iPads. An optional FLYBOX® Connect Kit allows use of HSI function, or, connection to FLYBOX® autopilot system.

Eclipse NG compact 7” EFIS  provides a reliable option for efficient flight and engine data management. Features a sunlight-readable display ensuring clear visibility of critical information, intuitive organization simplifying data interpretation, vocal alarms for instant alerts, and 3 button selected display pages to choose at any time what to visualise (attitude indicator, flight data and essential engine parameters, PFD page with a full page attitude indicator & flight data in a single screen, EIS page with all the engine parameters, the hour meters section and the fuel management data. Can be connected to its MFD version. As slave instrument, it allows the viewing of all the available data from the main ECLIPSE NG master unit. The MFD can be used only in two screen glass cockpit configuration.

Omnia 57 and 80 Series of Legacy Instruments/Indicators

The Omnia series is designed to revolutionize legacy avionics systems, while enhancing flight safety and convenience. This comprehensive family of instruments includes Altimeter/Variometer, Fuel Computer, EGT/CHT, ASI-OAT, RPM, Fuel Level, 2 Axis G-Meter, Oil Pressure & Temperature, Coolant Temperature, Multifunction Rotor Tachometer, Manifold Air Pressure (MAP), Fuel Pressure, Lift (AoA), RPM/MAP, Voltmeter-Amperometer, Chronometer/GPS Data, and a Multifunction indicator combining engine tachometer, 4 Hobbs meters, Chronometer, and an Automatic Flight Timer. Omnia line of indicators boasts optimal visibility even in the brightest conditions. Connectivity is facilitated through USB integration, enabling easy firmware upgrades and remote diagnostics. In addition, the incorporation of a dual Can-Bus interface allows Omnia instruments to be clustered and data to be taken directly from the engine. Available in 57 mm and also 80mm format for enhanced visibility (almost all instruments).

FLYBOX® Autopilot Systems

FLYBOX® autopilot system can be used with each of Eclipse NG and Oblò-A/P lines of EFIS instruments. Altitude and heading can be set manually or by the Autopilot which is compatible with most of the GPS systems using NMEA output.

When Oblò2-A/P is connected to the autopilot components, together with the optional Connect Kit, the flight plans or direct to will be followed automatically, allowing an enhanced flight experience.

Flap & Propeller Controllers

The two new versions, EFC57 PLUS and AIR EFC, feature additional improvements, short-circuit protection, a USB input for firmware upgrades, and the capability to connect a slave unit.

FLYBOX® EFC57 PLUS allows selection of one of four positions stored by the user, and automatic movement of the flaps in the exact position by the controller. In addition, in the AIR EFC version, the pilot associates each flap position with a maximum speed,

beyond which the flap cannot be lowered, thus preventing the risk of flap breakage.

The “Auto/Manu” safety function allows the pilot to have complete control even in case of failure, bypassing the electronics completely when switching to Manual mode. Both versions can be connected to a slave (or repeater) unit, thatallows the second pilot to take control of the flaps when needed.

PR1-P Semi-Automatic Propeller Controller keeps the engine speed constant with an accuracy of +/-20 RPM, by varying the propeller pitch while displaying the target speed and the actual speed measured by the engine. Completely adaptable to the characteristics of the various propellers. Offered capabilities for connecting an external switch to adjust the pitch from the stick grip, or connecting an external potentiometer or FLYBOX® lever.
