HUNTSMAN ARALDITE® F 300 & F 305 with Hardener Lacquer 2, Methacrylate “No-mix” Adhesives
ARALDITE® Agomet® F 300 & F 305 (low viscosity) are two-component room temperature curing, “No-mix” methacrylate adhesives suitable for bonding metals and plastics. They are often used in applications requiring quick assembly, such as automotive manufacturing and magnetic connections. The components can be applied to separate surfaces or bead-on-bead, rather than requiring mixing before application. Their high setting rate at room temperature allows handling of the bonded parts within a very short time. These adhesives have an assembly time of 1 - 2 minutes. As early as 5 minutes after joining (curing at room temperature), the parts can be handled. The final strength is attained within 24 hours for F 300 and 2 hours for F 305.
Bonds produced with F 300 & F 305 show good tensile shear and peel strengths and good resistance to moisture.

HUNTSMAN ARALDITE®  2011 is a multi-purpose, two-component adhesive which cures at room temperature. It is suitable for bonding a wide variety of metals, ceramics, glass, rubber, rigid plastics, and many other commonly used materials.

Araldite 2011 is a multi-purpose, two-component adhesive which cures at room temperature. Suitable for both large and small bonding applications.

HUNTSMAN ARALDITE® 2014 (US) / 2014-2 (EU) is a two-component epoxy adhesive that can bond various materials under harsh conditions and high temperatures.

Application Areas: bonding of filter media to end cap, assembly of electronic fuses, bonding of composite pipes in marine, potting of connectors, bonding of railway insulation rods.

HUNTSMAN ARALDITE® 2015 is a two component, room temperature, semi-clear, gel epoxy adhesive  with high shear and peel strength giving a resilient bond. This high strength material is extremely tough, thixotropic and non sagging up to 10mm thickness. It can fill cracks and crevices and it is particularly suitable for SMC and GRP bonding, as well as bonding other dissimilar substrates including wood, concrete, rubber, glass, ceramics and other shop materials.

Note: Araldite 2015 A/B epoxy paste adhesive paste has a working time of approximately 30 minutes and handling strength in 4 hours. It is resistant to weathering and has a maximum service temperature of 100° C. Araldite 2015 A/B Kit (P/N 678808) is no longer available. As an alternative Huntsman 2015-1 Araldite epoxy paste adhesive 2Kg Kit is offered, a similar two-component epoxy adhesive including AV 5308 resin & HV 5309-2 hardener with enhanced properties, such as resistance to dynamic loading and weathering.

HUNTSMAN 5052 Cold Curing Epoxy System

HUNTSMAN 5052 Cold Curing Epoxy System includes ARALDITE® LY 5052 low-viscosity epoxy resin and ARADUR® 5052 hardener (mixture of polyamines) which is sold separately. The ARALDITE® LY 5052 /ARADUR® 5052 system is intended for use in a wide range of applications including aerospace and industrial composites, tooling and aircraft repair. Both ARALDITE® LY 5052  epoxy resin and ARADUR® 5052 hardener are offered in different packaging options as well as bundle packages. As per their respective Safety Data Sheets,  ARALDITE® LY 5052  and ARADUR® 5052 are considered as DANGEROUS MATERIALS.

HUNTSMAN ARALDITE® LY 5052 Resin and ARADUR® 5052 hardener should be stored in a dry place, in the sealed original container, away from heat and humidity, at temperatures between 2°C and 40°C (35.6°F and 104°F). Under these storage conditions, their shelf life is 3 years from date of manufacture.

Key features and properties include:

- Low viscosity, easy impregnation of reinforcement materials,

- Long pot life (2 hours for 100 ml at ambient), ample processing time allowing production of big objects,

- High temperature resistance (glass transition temperature) after ambient cure: 60 °C, after post-cure at 100:120 °C,

- Excellent mechanical and dynamic properties after ambient cure with potential for even higher properties after post-cure at elevated temperatures,

- Laminates showing outstanding mechanical and dynamic properties. The system is qualified by the Luftfahrtbundesamt (German Aircraft Authority) for the production of gliders.

Their use requires adequate skin protection (please refer to the attached MSDS).

HUNTSMAN 564 Hot Curing Epoxy System

HUNTSMAN 564 Hot Epoxy System includes HUNTSMAN ARALDITE® LY 564 low-viscosity epoxy resin and ARADUR® 2954 cycloaliphatic polyamine. Due to its excellent handling behaviour is is suitable for various production processes. It combines low viscosity with long pot life at elevated temperatures. The cured system shows excellent mechanical, dynamic and thermal (hot/wet) properties and good chemical resistance. Suitable for industrial and aerospace composites.

HUNTSMAN 1564 Hot Curing Epoxy System

 

HUNTSMAN 1564 Hot Epoxy System includes HUNTSMAN ARALDITE® LY 1564 epoxy resin and ARADUR® 2954 cycloaliphatic polyamine. It is a hot curing epoxy system with a long working time suitable for RTM, infusion, wet lay-up,  filament winding and pressure moulding. It features a high-temperature resistance and excellent mechanical and dynamic properties after ambient cure. It is suitable for aerospace and industrial composites, industrial and structural composites.

HUNTSMAN ARALDITE® K3600 Epoxy Laminating System

A laminating system comprising of HUNTSMAN ARALDITE® LY 3600 Low Viscosity Epoxy Laminating Resin and CI3600-2 Aradur Hardener. The specially formulated Araldite low viscosity difunctional resin and Aradur formulated polyamide hardener combine to provide a laminating system of exceptionally low viscosity and superior wetability. Laminates manufactured using this system exhibit excellent stability to ambient temperature changes and enables fabricators to take better advantage of the superior properties offered by today's glass, carbon and aramid fabrics. Even better performance properties can be achieved by post curing parts at elevated temperatures. Offered as ARALDITE® Kit K3600.
