UMA NON TSO'd Electronic Amp Meter Gauges (Ammeters) are available in different series for different measurement ranges and installation in different panel hole diameters. 1-1/4" series allow utilization of panel space without compromising readability. They can be powered from 14 or 28 volts. Signals are acquired from remote mounted sensors, processed and displayed on analog dials with easy to read markings. Each gauge uses rugged aircore meter movement for vibration resistance and repeatability. Each gauge can be placed in a 1-1/4” diameter hole and mounted behind the panel with (4) 6-32 screws. They can be cluster mounted as close as 11/2” centers. Also available as new manufacture electric with 2-1/4" dia. Other UMA series of electronic ammeters include 2-1/4" series with moving coil and 85° Sweep and 2-1/4" Dual Amp/ 0-30 volt meters with moving coil  and 85° sweep.

All Part Numbers beginning with the letter "T" are TSO'd for Certified Aircraft.

Accelerometers (aka G-Meters) are used extensively in a wide range of applications including Aviation, Marine, Automotive, Military, and others. They are also used  in inertial navigation and guidance systems in airplane and ship autopilots.They help in a better understanding of static, such as gravity, or dynamic forces due to motion or vibration acting on an object.

Original Mechanical and more recent Digital accelerometers, used on civil and military aircraft, measure the instantaneous acceleration (or G-force) of an aircraft and its occupants compared to Earth's standard gravitational pull, in units of "G" (e.g., 1G, 2G). They enable pilots to monitor flight conditions, maintain safety, or practice aerobatics or combat maneuvers. Made by different manufacturers, they are offered as non-certified instruments, for use on  experimental and homebuilt aircraft, or certified products, installed on civil transport an military aircraft.

Mechanical accelerometers, included in this listing, use traditional components like proof masses, springs, and damping to measure acceleration based on displacement, offering high accuracy and durability for specific applications like flight stabilization and weapons communication. They are often of larger size and more expensive. Digital accelerometers, separately listed, are often Micromachined Micro-electromechanical (MEMS) systems, integrating sensors with microelectronic circuits for smaller size, lower cost, and high precision, making them ideal for flight stabilization, AHARS, and autopilot systems.

The choice of an accelerometer depends on the application's need for accuracy, size, cost, and resistance to harsh environments.

Connectors are used on electrical wiring harnesses and are essentially enclosures (i.e., shells) which house contacts with wires. The electrical connection into the system at the contact termination is either a soldered or crimped connection (the latter removable from the connector with the use of a special tool). The shell and insert may be moisture resistant or a hermetic seal. The inserts in each connector must be oriented for correct mating, and the shell or insert usually contains a keying feature to prevent miss-mating that could damage the connector or result in an electrical problem. 

Connectors can be of a Plug (“male”) or Receptacle (“female”) type. Receptables are also termed as sockets or jacks. Plugs have prolonged connecting pins which fit into the mating sockets. Receptables have mounting features such as a flange with holes. Connectors used in aircraft are mostly those complying with Military Standards (MIL-STD) and Military Specifications (MIL-SPEC).

WULTRAD INC. is a manufacturer of non-certified flight and engine instruments under FALCON GAUGE brand for experimental and homebuilt aircraft. Although their products are Non-TSO, they are made to TSO or MIL specifications for quality. 

FALCON GAUGE  Electrical Turn Coordinator is used for displaying the angular rate and sideslip of turning in horizontal flying and turning. The inclinometer indicates the slip angle of the aircraft while in a turn. A power failure flag drops into view whenever the voltage drops below a level for proper operation. Automatic portable radio beacons (ELT(AP) АРМ-406П (ARM-406P), АРМ-406П1 (ARM-406P1) and АРМ-406АС1 (ARM-406AC1) are safety devices designed to transmit via satellite to the stations COSPAS-SARSAT distress radio signals with aircraft coordinates received from the onboard computer system.Such information facilitie identification of the aircraft and guidance of S&R facilities to the accident site. Located in the aircraft cabin these devices offer the possibility of quick use in an emergency.

The automatic portable radio beacon АРМ-406П1 (APM-406P1) includes:

- monoblock P, consisting of a double protective casing with shock absorbers installed in it, an overload sensor (DP) and an AC1A monoblock;

- remote control PDU-406 (ПДУ-406) installed in the cockpit;

- external antenna ANT-406VA (АНТ-406ВА), mounted on the aircraft body.

The АС1А monoblock is  a portable radio beacon, including a PM-AC1A (ПМ-АС1А) transmitting module, an АРМ-043-01 autonomous power supply unit and an ANT-APM-01 (АНТ-АРМ-01) antenna. The emergency mode of operation of the AC1A monoblock can be switched on both from the remote control and from the DP, as well as manually when removing it from the protective casing when leaving the emergency aircraft.

Autonomous power supply (APS) units are also offered for use with the radio beacons. АРМ-043 (CDKT.436140.590) 14.4V are intended for use for beacons manufactured before 2013 while АРМ-043-01 (CDKT.436140.590-01) 10.8V for beacons manufactured after 2013. Unless otherwise specified their replacement frequency is once every 3 years with a 3-year self life.

BENDIX KING KG 102A TSO'd Remote Mounted Directional Gyro can be used in in BK KCS 55A compass system  in conjunction with KMT 112 Magnetic Azimuth Transmitter to provide a gyro-stabilized magnetic heading to KI 525A HSI.

The RCA 56 Series of electric turn and bank indicators by KELLY MFG (RC ALLEN) are an all volt instrument, with a power warning flag, a black or white ball inclinometer and either lighted or non-lighted. The PAI-700 TSO'd Vertical Card Compass is manufactured exclusively by Precision Aviation, Inc. This non-liquid (dry) type compass is magnet driven thus it is subject to lead and lag, however, these tendencies are greatly reduced due to the absence of pendulosity.  It is inherently stable due to the use of eddy current damping which is a natural phenomenon built into the basic design and as such has no overshoot. The PAI-700 has been designed to replace the float/liquid type compasses eliminating leaking fluid or backward azimuth readings. Available for Southern and Northern Hemisphere and different supply systems (5V, 14V and 28V). Precision Avionics Inc. also manufactures different compass brackets for overhead or glare shield mounting.

The Precision PAI-700  Vertical Card Compass consists of a 2" vertical rotating dial which is compared with a fixed miniature airplane (lubber line) to present the magnetic heading of the aircraft at all times. Heading information is more natural because the heading is read at the12 o'clock position and off the nose of the miniature aircraft. The compass card rotates and presents all quadrants in their true relation to line of flight. Requires no power (except for lighting) to operate. Installed in many current production aircraft & helicopters. Size: 2-7/8"H x 2-3/8"W x 2-1/8"D. Wt. 0.6 lb. After installing compass must be compensated using standard compensation procedures. The LXNAV G–Meter  (accelerometer) is a standalone unit, designed to measure, indicate and log g–forces. The unit is offered in 57 mm or 80 mm diameters for installation into the aircraft instrument panel. It comes in two versions, standard and with flight recorder (FR).

The LXNAV G–Meter has an integrated high precision digital pressure sensor and inertial system. The sensors are sampled more than 100 times per second. Real Time Data is displayed on a QVGA 320x240 pixel 2.5″ high brightness color display. To adjust values and settings the LXNAV g–meter has three push buttons with fixed functions. The top button is ESC (CANCEL), the middle is to switch between modes and the lower button is the ENTER (OK) button.

The unit's inertial platform integrates a  ±8g accelerometer. Device is showing current g–load in navbox/needle and it’s min-max values in bar. Last flight min/max load navboxes are persistent till next flight. Min/Max limits with Warning zones can be defined.

Real Time Data is displayed on a QVGA 320×240 pixel 2.5-inch high brightness color display.

The Logbook menu displays the list of flights. If the RTC time is set properly the take-off and landing time shown will be correct. Each flight item consists of the maximum positive g–load, the maximum negative g–load from the flight and the maximum IAS. This function is available only with “FR” version.

TKM AVIONICS offers different NAV/COMM radios as slide-in replacements of legacy products from BENDIX KING and other manufacturers. The Michel MX-170 by TKM was introduced in early 1984 aiming to replace legacy BK radios such as KX-170A, KX-170B, KX-175, KX-175B type transceivers. The latest TSO'd MX170C with 760 VHF COMM channels and 200 NAV channels is designed to be electrically and mechanically interchangeable (slide in replacement) with the Bendix King KX170 and the Bendix King KX175 series of NAV/COMM radios. Like other TKM radios,the MX170C NAV/COMM has nice features and excellent performance. The dual color LED frequency displays are self-dimming, showing standby frequencies with red and active frequencies with yellow color. The channeling outputs are for 40-channel glide slope (King Glide Slope) and 200 channels (King Slip Code). The MX 170C operates on 13.75 Adc maximum current in transmit. Amphenol MS MIL-C-5015 Circular Plug Connectors are designed to meet the demanding performance requirements of military standards. These cable mount circular plug connectors have proven electrical capability for equipment applications where durability is important. The Amphenol plugs have threaded couplings and single key/keyway shell polarization for an accurate and reliable connection. The solid shells of these MS Series circular MIL-C-5015 connectors are made from high grade aluminium alloy.
