TOST wheels are used worldwide in gliders, motor gliders, aircraft, ultralight, amphibium aircraft, helicopters and gyrocopters but also in heavy-duty applications.

TOST Landing Wheels (LR) are designed for use in aircraft as nose wheel, tail wheel, support wheel or as unbraked main wheel and they are offered in different series and various dimensions and constructions. TOST Disk Brake Wheels (SB) are presented separately.

Mini 150 & 180 Series, fitting tire diameters 150 mm and 180 mm respectively, are the smallest available wheels with pneumatic or foam-filled tires providing good suspension and absorption properties. 

Moritz Series 3″ Tail Wheels are available in two versions: Moritz, a sturdy aluminium die-cast wheel hub with fins sector and Moritz II, a two-part wheel hub CNC milled from aluminium. 

Max Series 3.5″ Tail Wheels fit tire size 200 x 50, widely used for tail wheels of gliders and motor gliders.

Classic Series 4″ Landing Wheels can be used as sturdy nose wheels and main wheels or for special purposes.

Tria 4″ Landing Wheels are convenient for applications, in which a low weight combined with a high strength are required.

Classic Series 5″ Landing Wheels are used as aircraft nose wheels and other heavy duty applications. 

Penta 5″ Landing Wheels can be used to save weight as well as a possible replacement for landing wheels equipped with inch bearings. 

The 5″ Tubeless Landing Wheels can be used  to realisze a further weight reduction.  The weight decrease is about 15% in total weight compared to a wheel hub with tire and tube (tubetype TT).

Mike Series 6″ Landing Wheels from aluminium diecast with deformable fins sector are particularly suitable for high loads.

Penta Series 6″ Landing Wheels can save weight compared to the Landing wheel (LR) of the 6″ Classic series.

Classic Series 10″ Landing Wheels can be used in the range of high-tensile special applications.

TOST Landing Wheels (LR)

TOST Landing Wheels (LR) are designed for use in aircraft as nose wheel, tail wheel, support wheel or as unbraked main wheel and they are offered in different series and various dimensions and constructions.

Mini 150 & 180 Series are the smallest available wheels with pneumatic or foam-filled tires providing good suspension and absorption properties. Suitable for tire diameters 150 mm and 180 mm respectively they require an installation width only 30/35 mm. Despite their very narrow dimensions, split wheel halves allow easy tire mounting. Ideal for narrow installation spaces but also as retrofits of tail wheels and steerable tail wheels. Anodised in blue or in silver.

Moritz Series 3″ Tail Wheels are available in two versions: Moritz, a sturdy aluminium die-cast wheel hub with fins sector and Moritz II, a two-part wheel hub CNC milled from aluminium. The fins sector system ensures emergency roll capability also with extremely hard landings. Due to its two-part wheel structure, the CNC milled wheel hub Moritz II features lower weight and easiness of tire mounting. Due to its anodised surface the Moritz II wheel hub shows a maximum of corrosion protection. Also offered with a heavy wheel hub from solid brass compensating for too top-heavy moments without performing changes on the aircraft.

Max Series 3.5″ Tail Wheels fit tire size 200 x 50, one of the well-established sizes for tail wheels of gliders and motor gliders. Max wheel, with one-part die-cast wheel hub and Max II, a light-weight, two-part version are offered. Max II combines most simple tire mounting with lowest possible mass. Its anodised surface ensures maximum corrosion protection. Also available in a brass version.

Classic Series 4″ Landing Wheels can be used as sturdy nose wheels and main wheels or for special purposes. They feature the thoroughly tested deformable fins sector and provide a high load capacity combined with compact installation measurements. The wheel halves are manufactured from aluminium die-cast and threefoldly screwed. A seawater resistant version is also available for use in amphibians or equipment exposed to saltwater. With a special surface treatment bearings from stainless steel with special seals and coated wheel bolts these wheel hubs are highly corrosion-resistant.

Tria 4″ Landing Wheels are convenient for applications, in which a low weight combined with a high strength are required. CNC manufacturing from the solid results in a weight-optimised wheel hub for high loads, with a high-class surface treatment (anodised in blue while other colours are available on request) and a threefold bolting with high-tensile wheel bolts. The asymmetric split of the wheel halves allows for most easy tire mounting without special tools. 

Classic Series 5″ Landing Wheels are used as aircraft nose wheels and other heavy duty applications. Wheel hub with six fold bolting, manufactured from aluminium die-cast with deformable fins sector. A seawater resistant version is also available for use in amphibians or equipment exposed to saltwater.

Penta 5″ Landing Wheels can be used to save weight as well as a possible replacement for landing wheels equipped with inch bearings. They are CNC milled from the solid and feature with a low weight and stable high load capacity, due to the high-tensile aluminium alloy. The wheel halves are fivefoldly screwed. Due to the set distance bushing a distortion of the bearings on the axle is not possible while with the asymmetric splitting of the wheel hub and the use of tire and tube, a fast and straightforward change of the tire – without special tools and special repair shop equipment – is possible. The anodized surface of the Penta wheel hubs provides the maximum corrosion protection.

The 5″ Tubeless Landing Wheels can be used  to realisze a further weight reduction.  The weight decrease is about 15% in total weight compared to a wheel hub with tire and tube (tubetype TT). The tire change is relatively easy to handle, contrary to other TL wheels.

Mike Series 6″ Landing Wheels from aluminium diecast with deformable fins sector are particularly suitable for high loads. The 6″ Ultralight version is suitable for TOST light 6″ UL disk brake wheels and the wide spread 4.00-6 tire size.  6″ landing wheels can also be supplied for Ultralight aircraft.

Penta Series 6″ Landing Wheels can save weight compared to the Landing wheel (LR) of the 6″ Classic series.

Classic Series 10″ Landing Wheels can be used in the range of high-tensile special applications.
