ATI® TOOLS 110C series flush straight drive rivets with rubber guard are manufactured from S2 high-grade shock-resistant steel and machined in accordance with MIL-STD GGG-R-425. They feature protection with plastic coating to prevent damage during shipment and storage, blended radius between cup and chamfer with no sharp edges, which coin or mar skin, highly polished precision cup, free of machine marks and ridges and chamfered corners. CHERRY® AEROSPACE MAXIBOLT® Blind Bolts (also termed as rivets) are multi-piece assemblies, capable of being installed from one side of the workpiece. Typically used in higher strength aircraft structural areas they are offered as Maxibolt®,  Maxibolt® Plus and Titanium Maxibolt® Blind Bolts. They can be installed with the use of CHERRY® tools for a most reliable installation performance.

CHERRY® Maxibolt® Blind Bolts are supplied in alloy steel and A-286 CRES materials. Blind Rivets are multi-piece rivet assemblies, capable of being installed from one side of the workpiece.Traditionally, blind rivets were used on aircraft leading edges, trailing edges, and close out areas which are limited to access to one side of the structure.  Current blind rivet usage has expanded to many additional areas of the aircraft in an effort to decrease labor expense and to address the ergonomic issues of solid riveting.

The CherryMAX® locked spindle blind rivets by CHERRY® AEROSPACE are the most reliable, high strength structural fasteners with visual inspectability in the world today. They are also known as "bulbed" fasteners due to their large blind side bearing surface, developed during the installation process. Countersinking is used to ensure that flat head screws or fasteners sit flush against the workpiece. Countersinks used in aerospace and industrial applications are made of durable materials such as High Speed Steel (HSS) known for its hardness, toughness, and ability to withstand high temperatures. High Speed Steel (HSS) countersinks are well suited for cutting aluminum sheet metals. When combined with Cobalt, an alloying agent in steels to improve the hardenability, strength, and wear resistance in machining applications but also due to its ability to resist wear at higher temperatures, the  respective countersinks are often used for cutting stainless steel and other aluminum alloys.

Because of the difference in composition between HSS and Cobalt, main strengths of HSS countersinks are their high hardness and wear resistance. Therefore, as a general rule, they consist a better choice when you want your countersinks to retain their strength even when exposed to extreme wear or abuse. For higher hardenability, strength, and wear resistance and in applications when when countersinks are to be exposed to extremely high temperatures, cobalt countersinks should best be used.

Jo-Bolt is a trade name for an internally threaded three-piece rivet. A Jo-Bolt consists of three factory preassembled parts, a threaded steel alloy bolt, a threaded steel nut, and an expandable stainless steel sleeve. During installation the bolt is turned while the nut is held. This causes the sleeve to expand over the end of the nut, forming the blind head and clamping against the work. When driving is complete, a portion of the bolt breaks off. The high shear and tensile strength of the Jo-Bolt  fasteners makes them suitable for use in high-stress applications where some of the other blind fasteners would not be practical. Other advantages include their excellent resistance to vibration, weight saving, and fast installation by one person. Jo-Bolts are often encountered in the permanent structure of late model aircraft, in areas which are not often subjected to replacement or servicing. Manufactured to different aerospace standards such as NAS 1669, 1670, 1750, or 1751 they are offered as OEM parts of their respective producers or as respective Standard part numbers under our own labelled (AVIATIONEU NEW ERA) product lines.

Blind rivets (also commonly referred to as POP Rivets) are mainly used in applications where there is no access to the rear (blind side) of the joint. Rivets have a two-piece construction, the rivet body, shell, or hat and the stem or mandrel. Both the hat and mandrel are pre-assembled and ready to use. Rivets are installed by using a riveting tool to draw the mandrel which causes the body to deform and clamp down on the joint. Upon reaching the designed clamping force, the mandrel snaps and is discarded. They come in different materials, sizes, military or industrial standards, can be installed with the use of a riveting tool and cover a wide range of structural and non structural applications. A benefit of blind rivets is that they are not material specific and therefore they can be used to combine two different material types together. Furthermore, there is no way to over or under-torque a rivet. If the appropriate diameter and grip range are chosen correctly, the rivet will be installed perfectly every time.

Non structural break mandrel blind rivets are offered as part of AVIATIONEU NEW ERA product lines. They are produced in accordance with the DIN 7337 Standard of the German Institute for Standardisation (Deutsches Institut für Normung, DIN) or respective replacing ISO Standards (ISO 15983 or ISO 15977 for protruding or flat/countersunk head rivets respectively). These standards specify the dimensions, materials, properties and requirements for the use of blind rivets and they are widely used many industries in Europe and worlwide, including automotive, construction and machine building industries.

The 3/32" diameter rivet is available in A-286 only with grips ranging from .020 to .562. Bulbed CherryLOCK® locked spindle and flush fracturing structural rivets

They feature protection with plastic coating to prevent damage during shipment and storage, blended radius between cup and chamfer with no sharp edges, which coin or mar skin, highly polished precision cup, free of machine marks and ridges and chamfered corners. RAPCO produces quality FAA-PMA approved replacement organic and metallic brake linings for Cleveland and McCauley brake assemblies on most general aviation aircraft. Organic linings are actually made from a semi metallic mix. RAPCO combines brass, copper and Kevlar fibers with a high temperature binding compound to provide outstanding performance and long service life. Most RAPCO organic linings have a built in wear indicator, which reduces the risk of damage to the brake disc and helps to optimize lining life. RAPCO organic linings are available in boxes of 10 or in organic lining kits containing the proper number of linings and rivets necessary for replacement on Cleveland or McCauley brake assemblies. They are two-piece fasteners consisting of the rivet body (aka shell, or hat) and the stem or mandrel.They are not material specific and therefore they can be used to join two different material types together.They come in different materials, sizes, military or industrial standards, can be installed with the use of a riveting tool and cover a wide range of structural and non structural applications.

Non structural blind rivets are those designed for applications where the connection doesn't need to withstand significant load-bearing forces. They are offered by different  manufacturers under their respective brands, such as STANLEY® Engineered Fastening AVDEL® & POP®, and others but also as part of our own labelled (AVIATIONEU NEW ERA) product lines, sourced by quality suppliers and intended as cost-effective alternatives to OEM parts. Depending on the rivet, they are made of different materials such as steel, stainless steel,  alluminum alloys, or combinations, they can be supplied in different head styles, and inch or Metric (M) dimensions conforming to national and international standards such as DIN or ISO respectively (*). Sold in pieces but mostly in packs with the number of rivets per pack indicated in the product SKU after the letters "PK". Appearing sale prices are per unit of sale used each time. Depending on the selected rivet & prevailing stock conditions alternate part numbers of the same rivet may be supplied in lieu of the ordered, meeting or exceeding Standard specifications.
