Used on most major civil and military programs, RADIALL™ DSX Series ARINC 404/SAE-AS81659 Connectors offer a proven solution to electrically connect equipment rack to avionics equipment. The DSX series are multipin, rack and panel style connectors designed to electrically connect equipment racks to avionics equipment. Typically the plug is installed on the avionics rack and the receptacle on the equipment box. DSX SAE AS81659, available in four shell sizes (1, 2, 3 & 4) with environmental and non-environmental versions as well as EMI/RFI options to improve shielding effectiveness. DSX SAE AS81659 connectors cover both civil and military applications.

DSX ARINC 404 shell type A and B are the original connectors, mainly dedicated today to commercial applications.

DSX-F and DSX-K receptacles, RADIALL™ solution for front release front removable (FR/FR) contacts to facilitate installation and maintenance. Fully intermateable with ARINC 404 type B and SAE AS81659 plugs, they offer the same characteristics as SAE AS81659 connectors.

Shell types are plugs and receptacles made from an aluminum alloy with cadmium yellow chromate or nickel plating options. Mismating is prevented by a polarizing system which provides 216 polarizing positions. For military part numbers, applicable polarizing position range goes from 00 through 99 only. Inserts are offered in various contact arrangements accommodating rear release, rear removable signal (size 22) power (sizes 5, 12, 16 & 20HD), coaxial (sizes 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 & 15), concentric twinax (sizes 5 & 9) triax (sizes 5 & 9) contacts in crimp, wire wrap or PC tail termination. GARMIN® GA 35 GPS WAAS is a FAA TSO'd antenna suitable for use with Garmin GPS devices like the GTN 650 GPS/NAV/COMM/MFD. Antenna connection is female TNC out. For installation of this GPS antenna the use of  RG 400 or RG 142  and a male RG400/142 TNC connector is recommended. The mounting plate for this antenna is sold separately.

The LXNAV G–Meter  (accelerometer) is a standalone unit, designed to measure, indicate and log g–forces. The unit is offered in 57 mm or 80 mm diameters for installation into the aircraft instrument panel. It comes in two versions, standard and with flight recorder (FR).

The LXNAV G–Meter has an integrated high precision digital pressure sensor and inertial system. The sensors are sampled more than 100 times per second. Real Time Data is displayed on a QVGA 320x240 pixel 2.5″ high brightness color display. To adjust values and settings the LXNAV g–meter has three push buttons with fixed functions. The top button is ESC (CANCEL), the middle is to switch between modes and the lower button is the ENTER (OK) button.

The unit's inertial platform integrates a  ±8g accelerometer. Device is showing current g–load in navbox/needle and it’s min-max values in bar. Last flight min/max load navboxes are persistent till next flight. Min/Max limits with Warning zones can be defined.

Real Time Data is displayed on a QVGA 320×240 pixel 2.5-inch high brightness color display.

The Logbook menu displays the list of flights. If the RTC time is set properly the take-off and landing time shown will be correct. Each flight item consists of the maximum positive g–load, the maximum negative g–load from the flight and the maximum IAS. This function is available only with “FR” version.

UMA NON TSO'd Electronic Amp Meter Gauges (Ammeters) are available in different series for different measurement ranges and installation in different panel hole diameters. 1-1/4" series allow utilization of panel space without compromising readability. They can be powered from 14 or 28 volts. Signals are acquired from remote mounted sensors, processed and displayed on analog dials with easy to read markings. Each gauge uses rugged aircore meter movement for vibration resistance and repeatability. Each gauge can be placed in a 1-1/4” diameter hole and mounted behind the panel with (4) 6-32 screws. They can be cluster mounted as close as 11/2” centers. Also available as new manufacture electric with 2-1/4" dia. Other UMA series of electronic ammeters include 2-1/4" series with moving coil and 85° Sweep and 2-1/4" Dual Amp/ 0-30 volt meters with moving coil  and 85° sweep.

These ammeters come with the suitable shunt. Different shunts are used depending on ammeter part number.

RAY ALLEN (RAC) R2S Rocker Switch provides a very positive snap action in 2 directions and returns to a center off position. It was designed specifically for Ray Allen trim systems. It is wired to connect both power leads to ground when the rocker is released. This eliminates motor coasting and allows very precise trimming. The RS2 switch is rated at 1amp. The faceplate measures 1.75" (44mm) x 1.0" (25mm) x 1.47" (37mm) deep. Self adhesive labels are not included. Sold separately.

The KANNAD 406 AF automatic fixed Emergency Locator Transmitter (ELT)  is designed to be installed near the tail of the aircraft and to be connected to an outside antenna (sold separately). A sophisticated “shock sensor” will activate the ELT automatically in the event of a crash. KANARDIA INDU Series round Airspeed Indicators are part of INDU diverse family of non-certified gauges for use in ultralight aeroplanes, autogyros and helicopters. They feature an LCD display with possibility to personalise the displays and scales. They are offered as standalone (master) IAS units with internal pressure sensors or as slave instruments. The slave version requires a master altimeter or some PFD like KANARDIA NESIS, EMSIS, AETOS or HORIS to be present on the CAN bus. 

KANARDIA INDU Series round altimeters are available for two standard panel hole diameters of 57 mm (2.25") and 80 mm (3.15"). As an option they can be ordered with an Outside Air Temperature (OAT) digital sensor at additional cost. When static pressure (altitude) is present on the CAN bus, OAT sensor enables also the TAS  as well.

VDO Fuel Level Gauges have always been known for the superb fit, finish, and appearance, as well as the wide range of styles VDO offers. VDO Fuel Level 10-180 ohm Gauges  are offered in 2" and 2-1/4'" diameters with matching Fuel Level Senders  (aka sensors or probes) for their operation. This 12/24 VDC Fuel Level Sender has a resistance rating of 10 ohms when the tank is empty and 180 ohms when full. The unit can be adjusted to read accurately in tanks from 6" to 23" deep. In the case of the 2" 33-240 ohm Fuel Gauge, the appropriate fuel sender is P/N 226-007.  

VDO product range also include Standard Tubular Level sensors mounted direct into the tank with different tube diameters and lengths from 200 mm to 650 mm and different resistances. They feature:

United States Military Standard RG58 Coaxial Cables are flexible and lightweight coaxial cable with a solid 20 American Wire Gauge (AWG) conductor, a 50-ohm characteristic impedance and maximum voltage rating of 1,900 volts. They feature a low-density polyethylene dielectric insulation with a dielectric constant of 2.3 and a diameter of 0.116 inches (2.9mm), a tinned copper braided shield and a PVC jacket. The outside diameter of the cable is 0.195' (4.95 mm), which makes it suitable for indoor and vehicular use where size matters. It is best for signal frequencies up to 1GHz, where its attenuation is 14.5 decibels per 100 feet. Above that frequency, attenuation increases, and at 5GHz it is approximately 60 dB/100 ft. RG58 coaxial cable supports 10Base2 Ethernet.

These cables come in different versions (types) corresponding to different conductors including RG58 (pure annealed copper conductor), RG58/U (single solid core copper conductor), RG58A/U (multi-core tinned copper conductor with generally low loss foamed insulation)  or RG58C/U (multi-strand tin-plated copper conductor and polyethylene solid core). RG58 A/U Coaxial Cables with PVC jacket are ones most used in WiFi, Wireless LAN, GSM, and Monitoring and Control of Network Infrastructure Sites. Also they are standard cables for avionics installations in experimental (non-certified) aircraft.

The mil-spec coaxial specification version of RG58 is the M17/28-RG58 Coaxial Cables. These cables are like their standard RG58 counterparts except that they feature a stranded tinned copper conductor and the outer conductor is a 36 AWG tinned copper braid.

RG58 Coaxial Cables are offered as part of our own labelled (AVIATIONEU NEW ERA) product lines. Sourced from quality manufacturers they priced and sold by the foot or meters (depending on the manufacturer). They can be furnished in standard or cut to order lengths.

Connectors compatible with RG58 coaxial cables are also offered and include BNC bayonet connectors, Low-Profile screwed TNC connectors and screwed FME connectors.

Guardian Avionics smartPlane EM100 Flight Engine Monitoring System can be remote mounted and integrates with smartLink 851 via RS-232 which in turn communicates with smartMFD iOS app through an iPad and/or iPhone via a USB connection. This results in iPad and iPhone becoming multifunction displays of rich flight and engine performance information which is also stored by the smartMFD app and can be shared with others, as required.

HONEYWELL BENDIX KING® KNI-582 Radio Magnetic Indicator (RMI) provides bearing information to either ADF or VOR stations by means of two pointers each of which is read against compass card. The KNI-582 RMI requires inputs from ADF, HSI and NAV receivers and combines three data points on one indicator. The current aircraft heading from an HSI is shown on the card. The magnetic headings to VOR and NDB stations are shown by the twin needles. By combining all this information visually, less interpretation is required thus enhancing overall situational awareness, something especially helpful when the workload is high.
