Hole saws are versatile cutting tools primarily used to create circular openings in various materials. They are often preferred over standard drill bits when there is a need to create larger diameter holes. Hole saws come in different materials and types.

Standard hole saws utilize a separate arbor (the part attaching to the drill) and a replaceable saw blade. Integral hole saws combine the arbor and saw blade into a single, non-detachable unit. Rivet cutters of different types are commonly used in Aerospace and many industrial applications.
