AVIATIONEU NEW ERA...
O-rings (also termed as Preformed Packings) offer effective sealing over wide ranges of pressure, temperature, and movement, with the advantage of sealing pressure in both directions and reducing friction and wear on moving parts. The selection of a specific O-ring is based on a variety of factors, including fluid media resistance, temperature range, hardness, durability, gland size, static or dynamic application, etc. The use of O-rings as gaskets or static seals permits metal-to-metal contact and allows almost unlimited pressures under extreme vibration. All O-rings should be lubricated before installation and constant lubrication should be provided for running seals to avoid excessive wear. Sharp edges, threads, and cross-drilled ports over or through which rings must be installed should be avoided.
An extensive selection of O-rings can be supplied as part of OEM brands or sourced from quality manufacturers and offered as part of our own (AVIATIONEU NEW ERA) product lines. They are made from different materials such as Nitrile/Buna-N (NBR), Butadiene (Synthetic) Rubber (BR), Flurocarbon (Viton®) rubber and others. Conform to various Military, Aeronautical & other Standards. They come in different Metric or Imperial (inch) sizes (internal/outer diameters and thicknesses (cross-sections) , and hardnesses to suit application needs.
Those of Military Standard MS28775 are synthetic rubber (Butadiene Rubber (BR))o-rings replacing respective o-rings of AN6227 and AN6230 series. Respective parts of MS28775 are superseded by those of SAE AS28775. Sourced from quality manufactuurers they are supplied in competitively priced packs in different internal/outer diameters and cross-sections (thicknesses) in inches. MS28775 O-rings meet Spec. MIL-P- 5510A and are suitable for MIL-H-560B type hydraulic fluid oil in Type I systems @ -65°F to 275°F. AN6227 standard o-rings (packing) and AN6230 o-rings (gasket)are manufactured to Spec. MIL-P 25732 for use in hydraulic systems using MIL-0-5606 hydraulic oils. For sizing information on MS28775 rubber o-rings and their correlation to AN6227 and AN6230 please consult the sizing table available in the Attachment section.Other offered O-rings are separately listed. For brief presentations of our offered packings please consult the Product Description Section or contact us for further information.
