MGL AVIONICS precision temperature sender (probe) is based on a brass housing with an 1/8” NPT thread suitable for Rotax water/oil cooled and Jabiru engines.
This probe is electrically isolated from the engine which is helpful in some installations Accurate with a maximum installed error reading of less than 2 degrees over the full temperature range. Recommended for applications were exact water and/or oil temperature readings are required.
SHELL® TURBO® Turbine oils are premium quality lubricating oils designed to provide excellent lubrication of precision turbines and many other industrial applications. Made from severely hydroprocessed (API Group II) base oils carefully selected to provide satisfactory viscosity/temperature characteristics, low foaming tendencies and good water separation properties. In addition, they contain proven additives to protect equipment against rusting and to resist oxidation for long service life.
From high-temperature gas turbine systems to combined-cycle systems with integral gearing, the SHELL® TURBO® range of turbine mineral and GTL (gas-toliquids) technology (*) oils are designed to protect the equipment from the effects of corrosion and to minimise the build-up of deposits and lacquer in turbine bearings and control valves.
Shell Turbo Oils T meet the American Standards Institute (ANSI)/American Gear Manufactures Association (AGMA) 9005-D94 requirements for R&O oils. They also coply with STLE Standards for machine tool lubrication include a classification for Hydraulic Fluid and General Purpose Lubricants.
The SHELL® TURBO® includes:
SHELL® Turbo T Mineral Turbine oils featuring reliable performance and protection. Available in ISO 32, 46, 68 and 100 viscosities.
SHELL® Turbo J Mineral Turbine oils satisfying requirements of MHPS steam and gas turbines. Available in ISO 32 viscosity.
SHELL® Turbo S4 X and S4 GX GTL Turbine oils. The Turbo S4 X exhibits extended oil life and efficiency. Available in ISO 32 viscosity. The Turbo S4 GX is specifically formulated to provide additional protection for gearboxes in turbine systems that require enhanced anti-wear performance from oil . Available in ISO 32 and 46 viscosities.
For additional information please refer to the Product Description section and the supplied documentation.
(*) Shell gas-to-liquids (GTL) technology offering various benefits over traditional group II/III base oils such as a lower sulphur content than fluids derived from crude oil, a more uniform chemical structure, contributing to reliable performance and others.
The TEXTRON LYCOMING™ non-certified engine solutions for experimental aircraft include their standard experimental engine models and their premium Thunderbolt product lines, the company’s brand of high performance, built-to-order powerplants for these aircraft. Both are non-TSO versions of genuine Lycoming engine modesl, factory built and tested. In addition,TEXTRON LYCOMING™ lineup of engine kits is also available assembled from 100% Lycoming parts and tested before delivery.
Instead of being made on an assembly line, each THUNDERBOLT™ engine is factory hand-built and further customized & personalized through the selection of several popular options of fuel systems, ignition systems, performance enhancements and finishing options. Also, most of THUNDERBOLT™ experimental engines contain performance-enhancing modifications such as high-compression pistons, cold-air induction, and electronic ignition designed to increase horsepower and flight efficiency. All engines feature a balanced rotating system within 0.5 gram (connecting rods, pistons, piston pins), ported and polished cylinders, and customized paint options.
The TEXTRON LYCOMING™ THUNDERBOLT™ engines are offered in Signature, Extreme or Competition series and cover the full spectrum of Lycoming familiar O-235, 320, 360, 390, 540 and 580 cubic inch models, although the IO-390 and IO-580 are the most popular.
Of the engines offered, all use parallel valve cylinders except the 390 and 580, which employ angle-valve cylinder heads. That makes them more efficient and powerful, but also heavier and more expensive.
235 and 320 Series include four-cylinder engines with models producing up to 125 hp at 2,800 rpm and 150 or 160 hp at 2,700 rpm respectively.
360 Series includes four-cylinder engines producing 145 to 210 hp. They are extremely popular due to their rugged reliability with smooth performance. Respective Lycoming’s 390 Series four-cylinder engines produce 210 hp at 2,700 RPM.
540 & 580 Series are powerful and durable six-cylinder engines. Those in 540 Series produce 235 to 360 hp at up to 2,700 rpm with their counterparts in 580 Series producing 315 hp at 2,700 rpm with reliable direct drive and excellent power to weight ratio.
