DYNON AVIONICS is a manufacturer of avionics and aircraft systems for experimental, light sport, and type certificated aircraft. Offered product portfolio includes individual engine sensors and sensor kits for 4 & 6-cylinder Lycoming, Continental, Jabiru & carbureted Rotax engines. DYNON INDIVIDUAL TRASDUCERS
Different transducer are supplied by Dynon and third parties for use in Dynon avionics systems. These include EGT/CHT probes, MAP sensors, Oil Pressure/Temperature sensors, Fuel/Fuel Flow/Fuel Level sensors, Tachometers & Ammeter shunts.
Dynon Avionics does not sell some transducers , like the tachometer, fuel level, flaps, trim, and contacts but their connection instructions are provided for their installation and connection.
MANIFOLD PRESSURE SENSOR (MAP)
The manifold pressure sensor is an integral assembly consisting of three pins, a rubber seal, and a connector housing. The pressure port on the manifold pressure sensor requires 1/4” inner diameter tubing for a secure fit.
KAVLICO V2 FUEL/COOLANT/FLUID PRESSURE SENDERS
The EMS-D10, EMS-D120, and FlightDEK-D180 systems require firmware v5.4.2 (or later) in order to work with Kavlico fluid pressure sensors. If your EMS-D10, EMS-D120, or FlightDEK-D180 system does not have firmware v5.4.2 (or later), EMS firmware must be updated to use a Kavlico fluid pressure sensor.
KAVLICO V2 sensors come in different PSIs. The 15 PSI Kavlico sensor (P/N 103755-000) can work for most carbureted fuel systems with 0.6–15 PSI requirements.
The 150 PSI Kavlico sensor (P/N 103757-000) can be used for most injected fuel systems and oil systems with 6–150 PSI requirements. For EMS-D10, EMS-D120, and FlightDEK-D180 users the Kavlico v2 150PSI sensor can ONLY be used for OIL PRESSURE. For fuel pressure select the 15PSI or 50PSI options.
If neither of the above are suitable for the airplane's fuel system, use Kavlico 50 PSI Kavlico sensor (P/N 103713-000) for fuel systems with 2–50 PSI requirements.
If both the 50 PSI and 150 PSI sensors meet the airplane's fuel system requirements, then use the higher pressure 150 PSI sensor.
