AVIATIONEU NEW ERA Specialty Fasteners SKU: ANEUNE-FSTR-SPLTY

Specialty fasteners such as eye bolts, rod ends, clevis rod ends, shaped bolts, anchors and others are offered as part of our own branded (AVIATIONEU NEW ERA) product lines for use in different aerospace and industrial applications.

Eye bolts are threaded bolts with a loop or eye at one end. They come in different types and have a shank for anchoring to structures or equipment and a ring at the top for attaching rope, hooks, or other hardware. They're used to anchor a cable, rope or chain.

Rod ends are threaded swing bolts. They connect and support loads and allow motion control and hinge movements. They are used in an array of applications: steering, tensioning, and controlling movement at pivot points.

Clevis rod ends are either machined or folded pieces molded into a clevis. At its base, the end is fitted with a hole. Here, a rod is attached. The hole is typically threaded in machined pieces. They are frequently used to secure loads in a variety of applications including automobiles, aircraft, boats, machinery, construction equipment and others.

Sourced from quality producers, AVIATIONEU NEW ERA eyebolts & rod ends are made from different materials, including carbon steel, steel alloys and stainless steel, and can be furnished in different inch or metric sizes,coatings/finishes in different specifications. Sold in pieces or in packs of specified fasteners per pack indicated by the letters "PK" after the product reference number (SKU).

Specialty fasteners such as eye bolts, rod ends, clevis rod ends, shaped bolts, anchors and others are offered as part of our own branded (AVIATIONEU NEW ERA) product lines for use in different aerospace and industrial applications.

AVIATIONEU NEW ERA eye bolts can be furnished in different inch or metric sizes, with regular or shoulder patterns, in different types (open or closed eye, machinery, turned, etc.), in different materials (carbon steel, steel alloys, stainless steel and others) and different coatings/finishes (Zinc, Teflon®, Xylan®, Cadmium, hot dipped galvanized plating and specialty coatings). Although variations may exist depending on their producers, different offered eyebolts and rod ends and their intended uses are briefly discussed below.

Eye bolts are threaded bolts with a loop or eye at one end. They come in different types and have a shank for anchoring to structures or equipment and a ring at the top for attaching rope, hooks, or other hardware. They're used to anchor a cable, rope or chain.

Turned eye & wire eye bolts are suitable for light duty applications such as, tie-downs and wire guiding. Offered in diameters from 1/4" to 1/2" and lengths from 1" to 10".

Machinery eye bolts are recommended for straight line pull only. Made of forged carbon steel, quenched and tempered, they are self-colored. Available in diameters from 1/4" to 2 1/2" and lengths from 1" to 5 1/4".

Closed eye bolts (also referred to as "turned" eye bolts) and open eye bolts are designed to permit movement in the attachment component due to pipe movement and are commonly used to attach wire rope or lifting slings to objects. Offered in different materials (grade 2, ASTM A193 B-7 steel, 304/316 stainless steel and others), finishes (such as zinc chromate, hot dipped or bare metal) and different threadings (UNC, UNF, Right Hand, etc.)

Nut eye bolts are offered as regular or shoulder. Shoulder eye bolts  are designed for both vertical and angular lifting although lifting at an angle (45 degree maximum) significantly reduces the load limit. Available in plain or stainless steel materials or hot dipped galvanized steel. Stainless steel shoulder nut eye bolts are highly resistant to corrosion from chemicals and saltwater exposure and are used in a variety of projects involving chemical and food processing operations, marine, offshore and coastal functions. Typically offered in diameters from 1/4" to 1" (1 1/2" for stainless steel)and lengths from 2" to 12".

Metric eye bolts are made from a variety of materials including forged and hardened steel, stainless steel, brass, bronze, or titanium. Hot dipped galvanized and stainless steel eye bolts exhibit anti-corrosion features.

Rod ends are threaded swing bolts. They connect and support loads and allow motion control and hinge movements. They are used in an array of applications: steering, tensioning, and controlling movement at pivot points. Offered in diameters from 1/4" to 1 1/4" and lengths from 1 1/2" to 24".

Clevis rod ends are either machined or folded pieces molded into a clevis. At its base, the end is fitted with a hole where a rod is attached. The hole is typically threaded in machined pieces. They are frequently used to secure loads in a variety of applications including automobiles, aircraft, boats, machinery, construction equipment and others.

Sourced from quality producers, AVIATIONEU NEW ERA eyebolts & rod ends are sold in pieces or in packs of specified fasteners per pack indicated by the letters "PK" after the product reference number (SKU).
