Nylon Insulated Diamond Grip (PIDG) Knife Disconnect Splices with body plating of copper, tin and wire insulation support. Offered in different models for respective use with wire insulation diameters.Two required per assembly.
TYCO ELECTRONICS TE CONNECTIVITY™ PIDG ring tongue terminals are available in different colors, wire sizes (AWG) and stud sizes. Appearing sizes are in inches. Each TE CONNECTIVITY™ insulated terminal consists of a tin plated copper body, a tin plated copper wire support sleeve and a color-coded insulation sleeve. They meet respective MIL specification.
TYCO ELECTRONICS TE CONNECTIVITY™ STRATO-THERM Terminals and Splices are specially designed for High Temperature applications up to 1200°F [649°C]. If heat is an unavoidable dimension in the circuit design and production STRATO-THERM terminals and splices consist the right choice also addressing other more familiar circuit problems such as vibration, corrosion and flash-over, when they occur at high temperatures.
Different types of high temperature terminals and splices in STRATO-THERM series include:
PIDG Terminals and Splices, and Pre-Insulated Spare Wire Caps — 550°F [288°C] range
PIDG Insulation Restriction Terminals — 550°F [288°C] range
Post-Insulated Terminals and Splices — 550°F [288°C] range
Uninsulated Terminals and Splices — 650°F [343°C] range
Uninsulated Terminals and Splices — 1200°F [649°C] range
All five types of STRATO-THERM terminals and splices provide optimum corrosion and vibration resistance plus outstanding tensile characteristics.
All types, except the STRATO-THERM PIDG terminals, splices and preinsulated spare wire caps, employ the famous “W” crimp which creates the precise electromechanical properties necessary for solid and/or stranded conductor combinations.

TYCO ELECTRONICS TE CONNECTIVITY™ ARINC 600 Connectors feature a stamped and formed contact system versus the traditional, screw machined contact system. Available in either Solder Tail or Press-fit (eye of the needle) designs.
Being the first to offer size 22 contacts in a press-fit PCB attachment style, their ARINC 600 product portfolio now includes press-fit size 20, 16 and 12 power contacts, as well as press-fit Quadrax contacts providing a total press-fit PCB-attach connector solution.
TE CONNECTIVITY™ ARINC 600 Connectors feature a lighter design for considerable cost savings. The stamped system allows for selective gold plating to only critical socket contact tines instead of the whole contact, decreasing gold plating costs. By changing to hollow contacts instead of the solid contacts in the legacy design, this product design reduces weight by up to 10% (depending on insert arrangement) and includes backward compatibility. All these with the same high levels of performance and reliability.
