H.F DORNA Ultralight/LSA...

With a modern design, a rigid full composite structure, spacious cabin and a panel equipped with advanced avionics and instruments, PICA 2 Ultralight/LSA single engine low wing aeroplane from H.F DORNA stands out from competition. However, what cathes the eye on the ground becomes an unforgettable flying experience due to the PICA 2 high performance as a result of the aeroplane construction, the powerful BPR-ROTAX 912 UL S2 100 HP engine and the 3-blade SR200B ground adjustable WOODCOMP propeller.  Designed and built in strict conformance with ASTM International standard, with a MTOW of 600 kg, PICA 2 aeroplane qualifies for Ultralight certification under present national rules in the EU countries where the previous 450 kg weight limit has been replaced by a 600 kg (1,320 pounds) MTOW. It also qualifies for operations in the U.S. or other countries accepting FAA Light Sport Aircraft (LSA) certification regulations. Running on MOGAS (95 octane unleaded) or AVGAS 100LL fuel and exhibiting a Low Direct Operating Cost, the PICA 2 Ultralight aeroplane is offered under AVIATIONEU NEW ERA Lease or Buy Programs as a multi purpose aircraft for recreational and business flying, pilot training, aeroclub operations, surveillance or other missions. Depending on the leasing or buy option, a range of support services (*) are also offered including initial airworthiness certification in the country of operations, user training on aircraft operations, supply of spare parts and consummables, aircraft maintenance, insurance etc. For additional information please refer to the supplied documentation or contact us.

(*) Some of these services are prerequisites in the leasing option.

AVIATIONEU NEW ERA...

In co-operation with aircraft manufacturers, AVIATIONEU NEW ERA Lease or Buy Programs have been developed for ultralight and light aircraft (*). They are generally offered as FACTORY NEW although used aircraft may be included. Depending on the selection, these can be used for recreational and business flying, pilot training, aeroclub operations or other missions (e.g surveillance or aerial photography). A range of support services are also offered (as required) depending on the leasing or buy option and the country of operations. These indicatively include initial airworthiness certification in the country of destination, user training on aircraft operations, supply of spare parts and consummables, aircraft maintenance, insurance etc. Some of these services are prerequisites in the leasing option. Please refer to the individual aircraft presentations or contact us for additional information and quotation.

(*) The term "Ultralight" is often used to denote different aircraft types across the world. In the U.S.,Ultralights are referred to as vehicles (not aircraft) and must be a single-place of very light weight. The term "Light Sport Aircraft (LSA)" is used in FAA regulations (FARs) for certification of aircraft complying with the ASTM standards and subject to specified limitations such as non-pressurised cabin, max seating capacity of two persons (including the pilot), a single reciprocating engine, a MTOW of not more than 1,320 pounds, a fixed-pitch or  ground-adjustable propeller, etc. In Europe, certification of Ultralights falling under Annex II of the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Basic Regulation is handled under national rules. EASA has introduced a new certification process for the European Light Aeroplane (ELA) considered as a simple two-seater non-pressurised aircraft for "non-aerobatic" and "VFR day" operations only with a single, non-turbine engine fitted with a propeller and a maximum take-off weight of 600kg.

AVIATIONEU NEW ERA 15CDV6...

Extending our AVIATIONEU NEW ERA range of metal products, 15CDV6 Alloy Steel metals are now offered as part of AVIATIONEU NEW ERA product portfolio in different forms (tubes, bars, sheets and plates). 15CDV6 is a chromium-molybdenum-vanadium heat treatable steel alloy which combines a high yield strength (superior to SAE 4130) with good toughness and weldability. 15CDV6 can be readily welded with very little loss of properties during welding and without the need for further heat treatment. This alloy is used  in the aerospace and motorsports industries in components such as roll cages, pressure vessels, suspensions, rocket motor casings, wish bones and subframes. Depending on the selected form, AVIATIONEU NEW ERA 15CDV6 Alloy Steel metals are offered in different conditions/specifications (*) and thicknesses, widths and lengths to meet the application requirements. Sold in pieces in cut to order dimensions. For substantial quantities, orders can be placed in tons for higher discounts. Extending the range of nut plates (*) comlying with different Military Specifications, anchor nuts for industial (non military) uses are offered as  part of AVIATIONEU NEW ERA product lines. Also known as Commercial anchor nuts, they meet DIN, ISO and other standards and are available in Standard and Miniature versions, different types (fixed or floating, one lug, two lugs, corner, etc.), various materials (**) & finishes and in both in Metric (M3 - M12 diameters) and Unified thread types (***). Competitively priced, AVIATIONEU NEW ERA industrial nut plates are cost effective alternatives to the respective OEM parts. They are sold in pieces but packs are also used where the number of anchor nuts per pack is indicated after the letters "PK" in the product SKU. Appearing prices are always for the used units of measurement each time. Please refer to product specifications or contact us.

(*) Anchor nuts (aka nut plates or anchor plates) are stamped sheet metal fasteners used in blind mounted panel applications, where hex nuts cannot be used or an attached nut is required for ease of maintenance. They are usually riveted to a workpiece and have an internally threaded tube and a plate with two clearance holes for rivets. These terms are used interchangeably to describe the respective fasteners.

(**) INCONEL alloy, CRES A-286 alloy,42CrMo4 Steel, C1050 heat treated carbon steel or other steel alloys depending on the manufacturer.

(***) Metric ISO thread used in Europe. Designated by the letter "M" followed by the value of the thread nominal diameter and pitch in millimetres. Unified form thread designations, such as UNC (unified coarse) or UNF (unified fine),have a fixed number of threads per inch with the thread major diameter preceding the designation.

AVIATIONEU NEW ERA Mil Spec...

Anchor nuts (aka nut plates) are designed for blind mounted applications where it is impractical to use hex nuts. Sourced from quality manufacturers, a range of nut plates comlying with different Military Specifications are offered as part of AVIATIONEU NEW ERA product lines.
