Aluminum alloy 6061 is the most commonly used aluminum alloy in the world due to its positive characteristics. It has magnesium and silicon as its main composition elements and is a cold-treated aluminum forging product with the advantages of 4000 Series and 5000 Series. Aluminum 6061, T6 or T651 tempered sheets exhibit above average corrosion resistance, excellent processability with no deformations, high strength, light weight, good weldability, and the ability to be heat treated for even higher strength, all at an affordable price. The difference between T6 and T651 tempers of an 6061 aluminum sheet is that the internal stress of T6 is relatively large and the processing will be deformed under normal circumstances; the suitable state for processing should be T651, which is based on T6 to stretch and eliminate internal stress. Both are typically used in aerospace, automotive, cameras, couplings, marine hardware, electrical components, decorative hardware, structural applications, pins, brakes, pistons, valves, and bicycle frames. Aluminum alloy 6061-T6 sheets from AVIATIONEU NEW ERA product lines are offered in different pre cut thicknesses, widths and lengths and they are PVC covered one side. They meet AMS 4027/ASTM B209 specifications.
