400AC Series ANR ultra light carbon fiber aviation headsets for airplanes with a 29dB noise reduction rating.
Combining high performance, modern design, robust construction and an ultralight weight (only 9oz, 255g) the AVIATIONEU NEA ERA 400C/400AC series headsets are intended for use in air transport and military operations or by demanding pilots who seek high performance, functionality and confort headsets with an ultra light weight. Offered in carbon fiber black color.
Features (Depending on selected model): fully adjustable spring steel headband, faux leather ear cushions for extra comfort, noise-canceling electret (or optionally, dynamic) microphone with a 270 deg. rotatable boom, premium speakers and microphone for crystal clear audio and standard S/M switch, with dual volume control knobs on the control module, PJ-055/PJ-068 dual plugs (airplanes) or military grade U174 plug and a tough, durable coil cord (helicopters).
(*) The headset will shut off automatically when unplugged from the battery box, manually turned off from the toggle switch or when the radio or avionics master switch is turned off. Aircraft equipments or intercoms should be working when ANR function is in use. ANR function is powered by a 9V battery from supplied battery box (not equipments or intercoms). When the battery power is low, the red LED indicator will flash. The Active Noise Reduction will cease to operate after one hour.

Note on Headset Connectors:
The GA Plug (also known as a General Aviation Plug, Twin Plug or a Dual Plug) is the mostly used headset connector for general aviation/fixed-wing aircraft like Cessna’s, Beechcraft’s, Cirrus’, Piper's but also in some newer aircraft, like Cirrus or Mooney. While these are the most universal of plugs, it is important to know that the plugs themselves will not provide power for ANR (Active Noise Reduction) or Bluetooth. When using a GA Plug headset, 1 plug will provide the audio to the ear cups and the other will provide the power to the microphone. Batteries will power ANR, Bluetooth and Amplification functions.
The U174 Plug is a helicopter plug. This is a single plug and looks similar to a GA Plug but it is shorter and thicker than a GA Plug. This single plug will help supply power for the ear cup audio and the microphone. Like GA Plugs, a headset with a U174 Plug will not power ANR or Bluetooth if the headset provides these options.
Panel Powered / Redel / LEMO Connector Plug allows pluging of any Redel equipped ANR (Active Noise Reduction) headset directly into the panel. This single 6-pin jack will provide audio, microphone, as well as power for the ANR in the headset so you can skip the batteries.
XLR 5 is a five-pin connector used in aviation headsets, where it can supply power for active noise cancellation.
