ARDROX® 920A, 9721 and 9722 are water based, water-washable fluorescent penetrants suitable for the detection of defects open to the surface. Equivalent to different AMS 2644 sensitivity levels depending on the product.

ARDROX® 970P24E, 970P25E and 970P26E are biodegradable water-washable fluorescent penetrants offering a range of sensitivity levels approved to AMS 2644.

ARDROX® 970x series water-washable fluorescent penetrants are  based on latest surfactant technology (free of Nonylphenolethoxylate, short „NPE-free“). All products have low-odor, low toxicity and therefore a minimal impact on the environment.

ARDROX® 981x series high performance, post-emulsifiable, fluorescent penetrants feature low-odor, low toxicity, high flash point, minimal environmental impact and show significant performance improvements compared to older generation products. ARDROX®  9881 is a new hydrophilic emulsifier with improved odor control and bath stability.

ARDROX® Red Dye Penetrants include 907PB, water-washable and solvent-removable, 996PB solvent-removable and 9VF2, a high sensitivity azo-dye free fluorescent color contrast water-washable penetrant without aromatic hydrocarbons.

ARDROX® developers are based on very fine white powder with a defined particle size range and advanced absorption properties. They ensure superior white film background for better visibility of indications. They can be removed easily after inspection.

ARDROX® 9PRx are colorless, highly volatile, solvent based penetrant removers. Fast drying they have a low sulphur and halogen content. Mainly used for the removal of both visible red dye and fluorescent penetrants but can also be used as a solvent pre cleaner prior to the penetrant application for the removal of oil and grease.

Petroleum distillates include a range of products such as mineral oils, naphtha solvents, heavy fuel oils, waxes, benzenes and others used in many industrial and other applications. They are offered as part of our own labelled (AVIATIONEU NEW ERA) product portfolio or as OEM products (separately listed).

Naphtha Solvents are chemical product comprised of volatile and extremely flammable liquid hydrocarbons  derived from the refining of crude oil but can also be produced from natural gas condensates or petroleum distillates. Naphtha solvents are very strong and versatile, often used in hydrocarbon cracking, laundry soaps, and cleaning fluids among other applications. Those conforming to Mil-Spec TT-N-95 or its latest Rev. B (TT-N-95B) are aliphatic naphtha acrylic cleaning solvents available in Type I or Type II for use in organic coatings and as a cleaner for acrylic plastics. Usual packings include 1 USG cans, 5 USG pails or 55 USG drums.

AEROSHELL® produces a range of mineral and synthetic hydrocarbon hydraulic fluids, lubricating fluids and preservatives supporting airraft systems' operation and longer preservation.  A non-exhaustive list of offered products is presented below. AEROSHELL® Fluid 3, general purpose mineral lubricating oil recommended for general lubrication of aircraft parts that require a light oil with good low temperature characteristics and a low freezing point. 

AEROSHELL® Fluid 12, synthetic ester oil used for general aircraft lubrication as well as for aircraft gyro instrument gimbal bearings, separately lubricated high speed turbines and compressors, aircraft air cycle equipment and electronic equipment. Particularly suitable when an oil with a low evaporation rate is required at high and low temperatures. Approved to MIL-L-6085C.

AEROSHELL® Fluid 31, synthetic hydrocarbon based aircraft hydraulic fluid with greatly improved fire resistance characteristics when compared with conventional petroleum products. Approved to MIL-PRF-83282D.

AEROSHELL® Fluid 41, mineral oil based  "super clean" hydraulic oil manufactured to a very high level of cleanliness and possesses improved fluid properties. It is suitable for use with brake and hydraulic systems with synthetic rubber seals.

AEROSHELL® Mineral Fluid 5M-A, highly refined, medium viscosity mineral oil with an extreme pressure additive and additives for good oxidation and corrosion protection. No longer produced. Limited availability till stock exhaustion. A possible alternative could be NYCO Nycolube 3525 meeting the same specification MIL-PRF-6086F.

AEROSHELL® Fluid 61, synthetic hydrocarbon base hydraulic fluid specifically inhibited to provide excellent oxidation stability for the oil. Approved to MIL-PRF-46170 Type I.

AEROSHELL® Fluid 602, synthetic hydrocarbon coolant fluid for aircraft electronics. No longer produced. Limited availability till stock exhaustion. Consider CASTROL® BRAYCO™ 889 meeting same specification MIL-PRF-87252E .

AEROSHELL® Fluid 71, preservative mineral hydraulic fluid of improved cleanliness. It is composed of a mineral base oil with an additive package which results in a product with excellent corrosion preventative properties as well as excellent oxidation stability, and good anti-wear characteristics.

DONALDSON® COMPANY INC. is one of the largest filtration manufacturers in the world, providing filters and filtration components for a wide range of applications including commercial airliners, military applications and general aviation aircraft, agriculture and forestry, construction, mining,  truck, and bus manufacturers as well as other markets.

DONALDSON® AEROSPACE FILTRATION (AFS) cleaners/degreasers and oils are used in inlet barrier filters to bring the filters back to full capacity after their cleaning process. Offered in 1 US gallon and 5 US gallon sizes. Filter Cleaning Kits are also offered containing 1 US gallon of AFS Oil, 1 gallon of AFS Cleaner/Degreaser, a 16-ounce bottle and spout for re-oiling, a cleaner/degreaser sprayer, and seamer pliers (2-inch and 6-inch).

CHEMETALL ARDROX® 3140 Corrosion Preventative contains film forming agents, antioxidants and corrosion inhibitors in a refined hydrocarbon solvent base. Provides long term protection for raw materials, sub-assemblies and finished components, which are to be stored or used in corrosive environments. 

CHEMETALL ARDROX® 6367 Turbine Engine Cleaner is a liquid concentrate which consists of an aqueous blend of biodegradable surfactants and corrosion inhibitors formulated to clean the compressor sections of gas turbine engines. It is solvent free and removes deposits, oils and their oxidation products in the compressor area. Contains corrosion inhibitors providing protection against corrosion for up to 3 days during engine standstill times. Does not contain any EDTA, NTA or their salts. Regular cleaning with Ardrox® 6367 helps maintain peak engine efficiency and reduces maintenance and fuel cost. Thermal fluids (aka thermal oils, thermic fluids, thermo fluids, heat transfer fluids, heat transfer oils, hot oils, thermic oils or thermo oils.) are specialized liquids used to transfer heat from one point to another in various industrial processes, including chemical processing, oil and gas refining, and power generation. Designed to operate at high temperatures they can provide efficient and reliable heat transfer, even under extreme conditions. Selecting the right transfer fluid depends on its thermal properties, which include its viscosity, heat capacity, the heating system it’s used in, and the application itself.  When dealing with complex applications that may have multiple heat transfer options and therefore specific calculations may be required. Factors such as the temperature and pressure requirements of the application, combined with the thermal properties of a fluid and the limitations of the heater need to be considered. INNOSPEC's STADIS® aviation fuel Static Dissipators  aim to enhance safety by preventing static charge build up when refining or handling fuels. STADIS® 450 is a non-metallic distillate fuel additive that increases the electrical conductivity of distillate fuels and helps reduce hazards associated with mixing, transfer, and shipment of distillate fuels. It is is the premium static dissipator additive (SDA) in use today and  the only SDA approved worldwide for use in civilian and military aviation turbine jet fuels. STADIS® 425 is ntended for use in  ground fuel applications and specifically designed for use in applications such as diesel fuels and gas oil.

CONNTECT® produces and supplies combustion turbine fuel additives, compressor cleaners & wash systems and related products. CONNTECT® gas turbine compressor cleaners include CONNTECT® 5000, 6000, 7000 and CONNTECT® AF-100 anti-icing fluid for use with all CONNTECT® compressor cleaners. They are suitable for both ON LINE and OFF LINE use while ceaners can be injected directly into the compressor while the turbine is operating ON LINE extending periodic OFF LINE cleaning intervals and reducing average power loss. Available in 5-gallon pails, 55-gallon (208-liter) drums and 330-gallon re-usable and disposable bulk containers (totes).

CONNTECT® 5000 - concentrated water based gas turbine compressor cleaner specifically designed to remove deposits commonly found on gas turbine compressor blades.

CONNTECT® 6000 - concentrated non-toxic high performance low foam water based gas turbine compressor cleaner with cleaning efficiency similar to solvent-based cleaners.

CONNTECT® 7000 - concentrated solvent-based gas turbine compressor cleaner. The combination of non-ionic surfactants, emulsifiers and organic solvents is specifically designed to remove deposits commonly found on gas turbine compressor blades including carbonaceous deposits, oil, grease and soot. It should not be used undiluted.

The ash free ingredients in CONNTECT® cleaners have been carefully selected to ensure that no incremental trace elements can contribute to corrosion of the hot section of the gas turbine, while they contain special inhibitors to ensure compatibility with aluminum, nickel, nickel-cadmium, stainless steel, titanium and common coatings including painted surfaces and elastomers. They can be generally mixed at 1 part cleaner to 4 parts water but the method of injection and total amount of cleaning solution required differs for ON LINE and OFF LINE cleaning.

CONNTECT® AF-100 is a superior quality, specially designed propylene glycol based gas turbine anti-icing fluid for use with all CONNTECT® compressor cleaners. It is non-hazardous, non-toxic and biodegradable. High purity, ash free product insuring no incremental contamination of the hot section of the turbine.  Depending upon the percentage of AF-100 used, the freezing temperature of the cleaning or rinsing solution can be reduced down to -22 deg. F (-30 deg. C). However, its viscosity increases significantly at cold temperatures should not be mixed with cleaner or water when the  product is very cold.

EXXONMOBIL® MOBIL™ AERO Series Aviation Hydraulic Fluids includes AERO HFA, HF, and HFS hydraulic fluids offered for aircraft systems where use of hydrocarbon hydraulic fluids is required. 

They are low viscosity, high VI (viscosity index) fluids with excellent low temperature properties, good anti-wear performance, and good chemical stability.

MOBIL™ AERO  HFA is a premium quality fluid that meets the requirements of the U.S. Military specification MIL-H-5606A (obsolete). It has a very high VI and is suitable for use at temperatures down to -54 ˚C (-65 ˚F). While this quality fluid is no longer used by the US Military, it is still used in some older, small private, and small commercial aircraft. It is also used in industrial and commercial equipment requiring good fluidity at very low temperatures, where MOBIL™ AERO  HFA provides long, trouble-free service over a wide range of

operating conditions.

MOBIL™ AERO HF is a premium quality fluid that is approved against the most current version of U.S. Military specification MIL-PRF-5606. It has physical properties very similar to MOBIL™ AERO HFA, and also meets “super-clean” requirements required by modern aircraft hydraulic systems. It is intended primarily for military aircraft. It is also used as a hydraulic fluid for small private and small commercial aircraft, and as a strut fluid in landing gear of large commercial aircraft. It is approved as a NATO Code Number H-515 fluid.

MOBIL™ AERO HFA and HF are composed of mineral oil base stocks and contain shear-stable VI improvers.

MOBIL™ AERO HFS is a synthetic polyalphaolefin lubricant that is approved against the most current version of U.S. Military specification MIL-PRF-83282. It does not contain a VI improver. It is designed for use at temperatures down to -40˚C (-40˚F). It provides better flammability and volatility, improved stability, but has a higher viscosity at low temperature than MOBIL™ AERO HF. It meets the “super-clean” requirements. It is intended primarily for US Military aircraft. It is approved as a NATO Code Number H-537 fluid.

ASG KUBER MIL-R-25134 B Paint Remover & Lacquer Solvent is a thickened, non phenolic aircraft paint stripper which meets the requirements of BOEING Document D6-17487 and MIL-PRF-25134 C. MIL-R-25134 B is a viscous liquid developed to remove multiple coats of paint. It clings to vertical as well as the underside of horizontal surfaces. MIL-R-25134 B can be applied as received by brushing or spraying. It is specially designed to remove lacquer and enamel coating finishes from metal surfaces of aircraft or other surfaces while it can also be used for stripping various types of paints such as varnish, zinc chromate primer, epoxy, polyurethane, etc.

Allow MIL-R-25134 B sufficient dwell time for thorough loosening or blistering of the paint. When paint is loose, thoroughly agitate all areas with a stiff bristle brush. The complete removal of the paint residues is accomplished with high pressure, high volume, cold water or with a steam cleaning machine. Normally one coat of MIL-R-25134 B is sufficient to remove more than one paint coating. Where multicoat systems have to be removed, it may be necessary to use more than one application of MIL-R-25134 B.

CHEMETALL® is the brand for the Surface Treatment global business unit of BASF's Coatings division & a leading supplier of applied surface treatment technologies for metal, plastic & glass substrates.

CHEMETALL® ARDROX® 185 Series colorless scale/rust removers have a greater than 12.5 pH level and a relative density of 1.43. The series includes 185L, a highly alkaline concentrated solution in water containing sequestrants and 185 water soluble powder offering a strong alkaline solution containing sequestrants. They can be used to remove rust and scale from iron and steel  in immersion tanks but also oil, grease and some air-dried paints.  They will not attack or cause hydrogen embrittlement in ferrous alloys and there is markedly less tendency for re-rusting to occur than with acid pickling.

ARDROX® 185L is usually used at a concentration of 30-50% by volume in water, depending on the amount of rust or scale to be removed. This corresponds to a concentration of 200 - 375 g/L of ARDROX® 185 in water. ARDROX® 185 must always be dissolved in cold water. There will be an exothermic reaction and the solution will heat up to 50-60°C / 120-140°F. The ARDROX® 185L is applied by immersion between 82 and 93°C (180 and 200°F). Agitate with mechanical agitation, do not use air agitation.

The immersion time will vary according to the degree of contamination, light rust being removed in approximately 10 minutes while heavy rust may take about an hour. If the components are heavily contaminated with oil or grease, the life of the ARDROX® 185L  bath will be prolonged if they are first degreased (e.g. with an ARDROX 6-series product).

When used in conjunction with the adequate other ARDROX® specialties (sold separately), ARDROX® 185L can be used to remove scale from hot-end jet engine components. It can also be used for cleaning parts made of titanium.

Thorough water rinsing must take place after the use of ARDROX® 185L. If no further immediate surface treatment is to follow, the use of a dewatering and protective fluid such as an ARDROX® 3-series is desirable to give protection from re-rusting.

The ARDROX® 185L  comes in a 5-gallon and 180-liter containers while the 185 powder in 25 kg bags.

GOODRICH® ShineMaster™ Prep is a deep-cleaning surface treatment that prepares de-icers for the ShineMaster™ luster. It cleans the de-icer and removes residual coatings as the first step in the de-icer care process. Removes dirt, grease, oil, silicone products and other contamination as well as residual ShineMaster™ cosmetic polish before reapplication. The only cosmetic treatment system approved for use on Goodrich de-icers. As a secod step GOODRICH® AgeMaster #1 rubber preservative can be used  that replenishes the emollients destroyed by ozone and protects against weather. For use on neoprene de-icers only. GOODRICH® ShineMaster™ cosmetic coating can then be applied as the third step in your de-icer care process. ShineMaster™ offers de-icers a lustrous shine and cosmetically enhances de-icers by coating the exterior surface. HYDRANSAFE HFA E3 and HFA S5 are intended for use in hydraulic systems in Aviation, Steel, Metalworking, Energy, Chemicals, Food processing, Textile, Automotive Manufacturing, Wood and Paper, Cement & Materials, & Mining sectors. HYDRANSAFE HFC-E 46 & HFC-E 68 are non flammable (fire resistant) & biodegradable  water based hydraulic fluids, boosted in antiwear and anti corrosion additives to match mineral based performances on pump tests and replace standard mineral oils with equal equipment protection. Both are intended for use in applications in Steel, Automotive Manufacturing, Mining, Aluminium, Construction Equipment and Mining industries. Designed to work on all kind of hydraulics pumps in various conditions, in mobile and stationary equipment. Ultimately biodegradable to facilitate usage in sensitive areas such as undergournd mining, agriculture, tunelling etc. they provide superior fire protection compared with standard HM or HFDU oils without compromising mechanical performances. They absorb water enabling usage in environments subject to high water contamination.

HYDRANSAFE HFDU 46, HFDU 68, and HFDU LC 168 Biodegradable hydraulic oils are recommended in the event of incidental leaks into the environment. They feature  considerable fire resistance, and exceptional lubricating properties which guarantee a substantial reduction in wear, and therefore a longer service life of the hydraulic components. They exhibit a high flash point and high spontaneous ignition temperature, low pour-point providing good performances at low temperature, very good anticorrosion properties enhanced service life, and a very high natural viscosity index guaranteeing a viscosity constantly adapted to the temperature range in which the fluid must be used. Operating temperature: -10 °C to +70 °C on a continuous basis, +120 °C at peak periods.
