ATI 107A series flush straight drive rivets are manufactured from S2 high-grade shock-resistant steel and machined in accordance with MIL-STD GGG-R-425. They are slightly crowned with a highly polished face designed for rapid flush riveting where a smooth skin surface is essential and feature large radii at critical points to prevent breakage, protection with plastic coating to prevent damage during shipment and storage, blended radius between cup and chamfer with no sharp edges, which coin or mar skin, highly polished precision cup, free of machine marks and ridges and chamfered corners. AVIATIONEU NEW ERA J-type nuts are equivalent to popular A.RAYMOND/TINNERMAN®  part numbers providing a cost effective solution. They combine the strength of the nut with flexibility of the spring steel cage and consist perfect heavy duty fastener for blind location assemblies. Their installation  does not require special tools or skills because they can be easily pressed over panel edge  or inserted into rectangular holes in center-panel locations. Constant alignment is maintained by an extrusion in the J-nut retaining leg which snaps into the clearance hole. The nut “floats” to offset normal hole misalignments. Sold in packs of different number of nuts according to the selected part number. The number of pieces per pack is indicated after the letters "PK" in the product SKU.

MS20364 (Thin Pattern) and MS 20365 (Regular Pattern) Series Hex Self-Locking Nuts are offered as part of AVIATIONEU NEW ERA product lines. MS20364 and MS 20365 nuts superceed those in AN364 and AN365 respectively. They are made from cadmium plated steel and offered in different dimensions and thread sizes. SIMMONDS®, a business unit of  HOWMET AEROSPACE, specialises on self-locking and special nuts. 

The SIMMONDS® self locking nuts come in different types (series) offered in different materials and sizes, they can be reused (fully tightened and loosened) at least 15 times without affecting the nut's performanceare, they are lightweight and extremely durable, , exhibit a  very strong locking performance and can be used in a wide temperature range.

The SIMMONDS® Nylstop Type P (Standard Version) and Type T (Low Profile Version) nylon locking nuts have been designed to stop nut and bolt disengagement during use. The internal nylon ring deforms around the threads as the nut is twisted on to the bolt, ensuring a tight, vibration resistant grip on the bolt.

The SIMMONDS® PH Series Aerospace quality hexagonal self-locking nuts are small, thin walled, lightweight and extremely strong. Made from  CRES A286 stainless steel and silver plated these nutls are particularly useful when space and weight are at a premium. Used typically in engine applications they are MJ threaded and offered in Meric diameters M3-M12 to meet different applications requirements. 

The SIMMONDS® MHT Series are conical shaped self locking nuts, where the diameter of the upper part of the nut is slightly reduced. Six vertical slots will open gradually whilst the nut is screwed onto the bolt. The elasticity provided by the particular shape of the nut will ensure the required locking torque.

National Aerospace Standard (NAS) bolts come in a large variance of lengths, thread types, head type, and materials. NAS bolts are suitable for high strength applications. They are the same as Army-Navy (AN) bolts, except they may be either raised or recessed.

NAS bolts are offered as part of our own branded (AVIATIONEU NEW ERA) product lines. They are sourced from quality producers and structured in different series. 

AVIATIONEU NEW ERA NAS428 series of machine (non structural) bolts are fully threaded, crowned hexagon head bolts made from cadmium plated steel or corrosion resistant steel (CRES). These bolts are offered with drilled or undrilled head or thread in different thread sizes, diameters and lengths in inches and sold in pieces. The number after NAS428 ( - ) denotes the thread size in 1/16th inch increments.The number after the last dash ( - ) is the overall length under the head. If this number is a single digit it is 1/8 of an inch. If it is a two digit number, the first is whole inches, the second is additional 1/8ths. Titanium fasteners are best known for their strength,  lightweight, and corrosion resistance. They feature an excellent strength to weight ratio and significant mechanical properties but perhaps their most notable attribute is their superior corrosion resistance to salt water / seawater operating conditions. Titanium fasteners are used in aerospace, automotive and motorsports but also in many other industries including chlor alkali, marine, off-shore oil & gas, desalination, medical, and pulp and paper. AN hex head bolts in different series are offered under AVIATIONEU NEW ERA product series. Sourced from quality vendors, these bolts are manufactured to the US Army-Navy (AN) standard, predecessor to Mil-Spec (MS), superseded by the National Aerospace Standard (NAS). Commonly used in aviation for either tensile/shear load applications. Made from high-strength type 4037 or 8740 alloy steel or 431 Stainless Steel (CRES) and cadmium plated for superior corrosion resistance (compared to commercial grade zinc plated bolts) they are offered with shank drilled for cotter pin or undrilled for stop nut application, and with a drilled head for safety wire or without. Minimum Tensile Strength (Steel and CRES) - 125,000psi. The length of AN aircraft bolts is measured from under the head to the end of the shank. The "grip" is the unthreaded portion of the shank. Threads are pressed into the steel, not cut, thus maintaining strength throughout the entire shank. The surface under the head of AN bolts is designed to be a bearing surface to reduce non-uniform stress as the bolt is torqued thus reducing premature fatigue. The following letters are used in the product part  numbers.

"A" after the dash number for bolts with undrilled shank

"C"  for bolts made of 431 Stainless Steel (CRES)

"H" after the AN number for bolts with drilled head (eg. AN4H-15)

 AN3 through AN20 Series bolts are superseded by NASM3 through 20 Series. The part numbers in both series have not been changed.

AN3 THRU AN20  is canceled and superseded by NASM3 THRU NASM20. The Part Identification Number (PIN) for AN3 THRU AN20 REV. 12 and the part number for NASM3 THRU NASM20 are identical. The part numbers have not been changed.

MS21048/NAS680 Series nutplates (*) are offered as part of AVIATIONEU NEW ERA product lines. Sourced from quality manufacturers these low height fixed self-locking two-lug nutplates are made from corrosion resistant steel (CRES) with a passivated finish. They are same as those of MS21047 series except that they are made from stainless steel 450F or 800F with silver plating. They have a nylon insert and are available in different Unified thread sizes, with plain rivet or countersunk rivet holes on each side and come with or without a dry film lube. MS21048 nutplates supercede AN362, AN366, NAS680  and are superseded by NASM21048 series.

Nutplates with a dry film lube are specified by the letter "L" in the part number.

Nutplates with countersunk rivet holes are specified by the letter "K" in the end of the part number.

Competitively priced, these nut plates are cost effective alternatives to the respective OEM parts. They are usually sold in pieces but packs are also used where the number of anchor nuts per pack is indicated after the letters "PK" in the product SKU. (*) Anchor nuts (aka nut plates or anchor plates) are stamped sheet metal fasteners are used in blind mounted panel applications, where it is impractical to use hex nuts or where it is desirable to have an attached nut for ease of maintenance. They are usually riveted to a workpiece and have an internally threaded tube and a plate with two clearance holes for rivets. These terms are used interchangeably to describe the respective fasteners. 

A retaining ring is a fastener that holds components or assemblies onto a shaft or in a housing/bore when installed in a groove. MS16625 series are internal retaining rings intended for use in different housing diameters. They are offered in different materials (Carbon Spring Steel, Corrosion Resistant Steel, Beryllium Copper) and surface finishes (Cadmium Plated, Phosphate Coat, Zinc Coat) depending on their part number.

Sourced from quality producers, NASM/MS 21042/21043 and NAS1291 series nuts are offered as part of our AVIATIONEU NEW ERA product lines.

The NAS1291 series lock-nuts are widely used throughout the aerospace industry. They are thin-walled, self-locking nuts with a reduced height and are made of corrosion resisting (stainless) steel or cadmium plated alloy steel with or without dry film lubricant for 450 deg. F use. The nuts from corrosion resisting steel are designated by the letter "C" after NAS1291. The NAS1291 series of nuts ranges in size from 02 to 10, with corresponding thread diameters of .086 to .6250 inches. Some versions of the NAS1291 lock-nut have been superseded by NASM21042/MS21042 and NASM21043/MS21043 series. 

The MS21042 series (superseded by NASM21042 series) are all-metal hexagon reduced height self-locking nuts, rated at 160,000 psi tensile strength, made of cadmium plated steel. They are shorter than the AN363 nut but develop the same tensile strength. They are also  lighter than AN365 nylon lock nuts (an average of 63% lighter for sizes -3 through -6).The NASM21042/MS21042 lock nuts are widely used throughout the aerospace industry together with those of MS21043 series (superseded by NASM21043) all-metal reduced hexagon, reduced height self-locking nuts with a ring base made of corrosion resistance steel and silver plated. Because of their reduced hex dimension, they are widely used in limited space applications where wrench access is a problem. Both are designed for use in high temperature installations (up to 450°F for MS21042 series  and up to 800°F for MS21043 series nuts). They both come without or with or  a dark grey dry film lubricant (Lubed) indicated by the letter "L" in their part number.

The NASM21043/MS21043 series are used to replace certain versions of older NAS1291 series thin-walled reduced height self-locking nuts, made of corrosion resisting (stainless) steel or cadmium plated alloy steel (see product presentation).

MS21042M, MILITARY SPECIFICATION SHEET: Nut, Self-Locking, 450 Deg. F, Reduced Hexagon, Reduced Height, Ring Base, Non-Corrosion Resistant Steel (06 Jan 1995) [Superseded by NASM21042].

Structural screws are made of alloy steel, are properly heat treated, and can be used as structural bolts. Those commonly used in aircraft applications are manufactured to aerospace/military standards/specifications. They are offered as part of our own branded (AVIATIONEU NEW ERA) product lines structured in different series based on the standard of their conformance. Some of the screws commonly used include NAS204 through NAS235 and AN509/AN525 series. 

MS24694 Series structural screws have a 100° countersunk Phillips head. They replace the respective AN509 series structural screws of materials and finishes. Minimum tensile strength for steel is 125,000 psi. They are fabricated from alloy steel and cadmium plated per specification QQ-P-416A, Type II, Class 3 or 300 Series Stainless Steel unplated designated by the letters "S" and "C" respectively in the product part number after MS24694 and before the size number.

AVIATIONEU NEW ERA Hexagon Bolts are made of Stainless Steel 304/316 (depending on the P/N) with a bright surface treatment and a strength class of A2-70 for SS 304 bolts and A4-70 for SS 316 bolts. They are fully threaded, coarse type, and produced by certified manufacturers in accordance with DIN 933 standard. They are offered in competitive prices in different diameters ("M" designated), indicating the bolt's diameter in mm and lengths in mm. NAS1473 series floating nutplates (*) allow for a stronger, more secure hold when installing bolts on thin or unstable surfaces.
