EXXONMOBIL® MOBIL™ POLYREX™ EM Series greases are specially formulated for electric-motor bearings.Their advanced thickener formulation and proprietary manufacturing techniques provide improved bearing performance and protection for long electric motor life.

The POLYREX™ EM Series greases feature an outstanding grease life, advanced polyurea thickener for increased durability versus conventional polyurea greases when subjected to mechanical shear forces, excellent corrosion resistance, and low-noise properties. They are are recommended by many major bearing and electric motor manufacturers for long-life lubrication of electric motor ball and roller bearings, particularly in sealed-for-life applications. The POLYREX™ EM is suitable for lubrication of ball bearings in many noise-sensitive applications. The POLYREX™ EM 103 is more specifically recommended for applications such as vertically mounted bearings, or very large motors where a stiffer grease consistency may be required by the OEM. Both POLYREX™ EM and EM 103 provide protection against rust and corrosion but EM provides additional protection under mild salt-water wash conditions versus the EM 103.

Based on high quality mineral base stocks and an advanced proprietary additive system designed to provide excellent protection against conventional wear modes such as scuffing but also a high level of resistance against micropitting fatigue. They also offer the potential for improved lubrication of gearbox rolling element bearings and outstanding rust and corrosion protection versus conventional gear oils, including seawater and acidic water protection. Offered in different ISO Grades they conform to different specifications and approvals.

MOBIL® Mobilgear™ SHC™ XMP  Synthetic Wind Turbine Gear Oils designed to provide optimum equipment protection of wind turbine gearboxes, including steel-on-steel spur, helical and bevel gears, operating under the extreme conditions typical of wind turbines. They contain an advanced and carefully blended proprietary additive system designed to provide excellent protection against conventional wear modes such as scuffing and a high level of resistance against micropitting fatigue. They offer outstanding rust and corrosion protection in applications where salt water and acidic water protection are required. Available in 2 ISO Grades, Mobilgear™ SHC™ XMP 320 and Mobilgear™ SHC™ XMP 460.
