HONEYWELL BENDIX KING® Panel Mounted DME
BENDIX KING® Silver Crown Plus line of Panel Mounted 100 watt KN 62A and 50 watt KN 64 DME are self-contained, 200-channel systems, which can be channeled remotely through almost any NAV receiver or tuned directly with their own frequency selection knobs. They offer dual channeling capability with two DME frequencies available at all times (one remote & one stored internally). Also feature redesigned faceplates for improved readings' illumination, large sturdy knobs and a three-position function switch for easy operation. They operate on any 11 to 33 VDC voltage without adapters or power converters while due to their modest power requirements no external cooling is needed.
HONEYWELL BENDIX KING® Remote DME
BENDIX KING® TSO'd KN 63 DME is a complete 100 watt, 200-channel remote DME system utilizing Large Scale Integrated (LSI) circuit technology. Offering significant advantages in DME reliability and performance, the KN 63 is all solid-state (no transmitter tubes) and can be installed with either single or dual panel DME indicators (displays) such as the BENDIX KING® KDI-572 or KDI-574.
HONEYWELL BENDIX KING® DME Displays
BENDIX KING® TSO'd KDI-572 or KDI-574 DME Displays can be used as master display controls and information displays from KN 63 remote DME transceiver. The top-quality KDI 572 DME displays distance, groundspeed, and time-to-station all at the same time. Slant-range distance is computed digitally and displayed up to the maximum range of 399 nautical miles. Station lock-on is typically achieved within three seconds, with accurate groundspeed and time to station computations becoming available within one minute. The KDI 572's single control switch offers easy operation of the entire DME system as well as DME channeling. It has settings for ON/OFF, NAV 1, NAV 2, and DME HOLD. Comes with an indicator for area navigation (RNAV) to let you know if the displayed distance and time are to a waypoint or a radio navigation beacon. The TSO'd KDI 574 DME display is similar to KDI-572 but DOES NOT include ON/OFF, NAV 1/2, DME Hold selector. For use with Bendix/King Remote DMEs KDM-706 / KDM-706A, KN-63 DME and KTU-709 TACAN.
The FLYdat has been specially developed by TL ELEKTRONIC for BRP-ROTAX® Aircraft Engines for indicating and storing of engine operation data. The unit is furnished with 8 sensor input ports, which can be occupied variably according to engine type.
The operating data is permanently compared with the engine specific operating limit. If the signalled operating data exceeds the stored operating limit, the FLYdat will warn the pilot. In addition all the input ports are equipped with a maximum alarm, responding when picked-up value is equal or above the stored limit. The FLYdat keeps the pilot informed on the following actual readings. Besides the topical data, the FLYdat shows also the hours of operation.
• Engine speed
• Cylinder head temperature (CHT)
• Exhaust gas temperature (EGT)
• Ambient air temperature (not on engines 912 / 914)
• Temperature of cooling water (only on engines 582 UL, 618 UL)
• Oil temperature and oil pressure (only on engines 912 / 914)
The TL ELEKTRONIC FLYdat is supplied with a standard configuration. With the standard configuration all trigger levels for warning- and alarm system are set to the maximum of the measuring range.
Configuration is available for the following BRP-ROTAX® engine types: 447 UL SCDI, 503 UL DCDI, 582 UL DCDI, 618 UL DCDI, 912 DCDI series, 914 DCDI series, Standard
By configuration of the TL ELEKTRONIC FLYdat, the engine type, engine number, hour of operation, temperature unit and the respective engine limits are programmed.
The TL ELEKTRONIC FLYdat unit and parts are no longer offered as ROTAX Part Numbers. These part numbers are provided for reference only. In addition, aircraft engine parts are subject to changes from time to time. Some parts may be no longer available or replaced by others with different part numbers. Listed engine parts do not imply their current availability or suitability for your engine application. Always consult the most recent Illustrated Part Catalogs (IPCs) or other documentation available from the engine manufacturer for the correct part number before ordering.

SAFE FLIGHT (SF) is the world's leading manufacturer of aircraft lift instrumentation and control systems. SAFE FLIGHT FAA certified Lift Detectors & Angle of Attack (AoA) Sensors are installed on hundreds of aircraft worlwide.
SF’s Lift Detector is the foundation of SAFE FLIGHT’s Stall Warning systems. This was the first and still the industry standard for stall warning in light aircraft. It consists of a small tab or vane which senses the change of the stagnation point on the wing and an alerting device used for stall warning. The detector warns by light and horn of any danger of an approaching stall regardless of the flight maneuver. It comes in different variations complete with installation kit & instructions.
SF’s SCc Angle of Attack (AoA) system meets FAA requirements by providing both flashing red LEDs and an unmistakable audio output to alert the pilot of increasing AoA and an impending stall. It consists of two key components, the Lift Transducer and the the Indexer Computer. Available for retro-fit. Including the Lift Transducer, the Indexer Computer, and all necessary wiring, connectors and installation hardware.
