CLEVELAND WHEELS & BRAKES manufactures main and nose wheel assemblies to support aircraft load requirements. Both main and nose wheels are made from either aluminum castings, magnesium castings, or aluminum forgings. The wheels are of the divided type, incorporating inner wheel half and outer wheel half, plus a disc, which are fastened together with tie bolts, washers, and nuts. Their key features include low maintenance for tubeless or tube-type tires, tapered roller bearings for dimensional stability and long life, molded grease seals for superior bearing bore sealing properties, split rim design to allow ease of tire mounting, high-strength through-bolts and sand castings and forgings.
The Cleveland 40-418 wheel assembly comes in different versions and includes the parts and quantities (in bracket) per assembly as shown in the chart. FAA 8130-3 Release Certification is available at additional cost. Please specify at the time of ordering.

All aircraft fuel systems have filters and strainers to ensure that the fuel delivered to the engine(s) is free from contaminants. The first of these is encountered at the outlet of the fuel tank. A sump is used to encourage the collection of debris in the lowest part of the tank, which can then be drained off before flight. The actual tank outlet for the fuel is positioned above this sump. Some type of screen is used to trap contaminants attempting to flow out of the tank into the fuel system. Finger screens (strainers) are common on light aircraft. They effectively increase the area of the fuel tank outlet, allowing a large amount of debris to be trapped while still permitting fuel to flow. They are screwed into a fitting welded in the tank outlet.
Offered finger strainers are intended for use in fuel tank outlets. They are available in standard and lage sizes. Standard size features a brass fitting with 3/8" male pipe thread which fits AN867-3 welding flange, and 1/4" female pipe thread for valve or fuel line fitting. Screen is 16 mesh brass. Large finger strainer has a 3/8"-NPT x 1/2"-M-NPT brass bushing with a T304 stainless steel screen.
Bellcrank bearings are commonly used for various control bellcranks throughout many experimental aircraft. They are prepacked with lubricant conforming to Mil. -G23827, inspected per Mil. I 45208A and 100% traceable. Operating temperature range -30 Deg. F to +250 Deg. F
In contrast to the commercial cables, aircraft cables are lubricated providing substantially better fatigue life. They undergo extensive testing and are certified MIL-DTL-83420 and QPL specifications. Available in galvanized or stainless steel versions, diameters in inches, strengths and methods of construction (7X7, 7X19 or 1X19). The strength units are lbs. Unit of measure and sale is feet.
Used to switch the fuel in an application where there is a fuel injected engine that needs flow return. Can be supplied with either male or female fittings.
