EASA Certified VHF transceiver 57mm with 6W output power. Automatic selection of 8.33kHz/25kHz spacing and OLED display.
Automatic portable radio beacons (ELT(AP) АРМ-406П (ARM-406P), АРМ-406П1 (ARM-406P1) and АРМ-406АС1 (ARM-406AC1) are safety devices designed to transmit via satellite to the stations COSPAS-SARSAT distress radio signals with aircraft coordinates received from the onboard computer system.Such information facilitie identification of the aircraft and guidance of S&R facilities to the accident site. Located in the aircraft cabin these devices offer the possibility of quick use in an emergency.
The automatic portable radio beacon АРМ-406П1 (APM-406P1) includes:
- monoblock P, consisting of a double protective casing with shock absorbers installed in it, an overload sensor (DP) and an AC1A monoblock;
- remote control PDU-406 (ПДУ-406) installed in the cockpit;
- external antenna ANT-406VA (АНТ-406ВА), mounted on the aircraft body.
The АС1А monoblock is a portable radio beacon, including a PM-AC1A (ПМ-АС1А) transmitting module, an АРМ-043-01 autonomous power supply unit and an ANT-APM-01 (АНТ-АРМ-01) antenna. The emergency mode of operation of the AC1A monoblock can be switched on both from the remote control and from the DP, as well as manually when removing it from the protective casing when leaving the emergency aircraft.
Autonomous power supply (APS) units are also offered for use with the radio beacons. АРМ-043 (CDKT.436140.590) 14.4V are intended for use for beacons manufactured before 2013 while АРМ-043-01 (CDKT.436140.590-01) 10.8V for beacons manufactured after 2013. Unless otherwise specified their replacement frequency is once every 3 years with a 3-year self life.

The N16 split design remote-mount VHF Navigation Receiver by MGL AVIONICS belongs to a new generation of navigation receivers based on RF direct conversion technology. The N16 is identical in size to the V16 COMM radio and can be used in a simple configuration as combined NAV/COMM solution for both MGL EFIS systems using the MGL protocols or, if at least one MGL VEGA or RAZOR control head is used these heads can provide NAV/COMM data output on RS-232 that is compatible with most EFIS systems on the market. Like V16 COMM, it is a Non-TSO'd NAV receiver for use in experimental and light-sport aircraft. For stand-alone operation, at least one MGL RAZOR control head or two MGL VEGA heads are required. Using these heads a fully compliant solution is presented that provides both VOR CDI using a rotary control for OBS bearing entry as well as the familiar two bar ILS localizer and glideslope indication. The VOR provides a display for bearing to station and radial from station at the same time for up to two simultaneously-received VOR stations. For additional information please refer to the attached documentation.
YAESU rechargable batteries are intended for use with YAESU handheld transceivers.
The ICOM IC-A210 Series of VHF 760 COMM transceivers operating in 118-136.975MHz range are offered as non certified radios. Featured with OLED displays,"flip-flop" arrow button switches between main and stand-by channels, GPS memory function, a built-in DC-DC converter accepting 12/24VDC power source, a built-in voice activated intercom allowing pilot-copilot communication via the headset and two types of rear-panel adapters included for streamlined plug-in connectivity, ICOM A210 series transceivers are a meaningful choice for radio upgrades and replacecements as they are interchangeable with IC-A200, KY96A/KY97A & SL40 radios. IC-A210E is compatible with 8.33kHz channel spacing in addition to the widely used 25kHz. For a certfied model please refer to the TSO/ETSO certified IC-A220T.
The KANNAD 406 AS (P/N S1823502-03) is a aeronautical survival beacon. Thanks to its small size and light weight, the Kannad 406 AS fits easily inside a liferaft. It is supplied with a floating collar.
The KANNAD 406 AS is qualified by the French Civil Aviation in Europe with JTSO-2C91a & JTSO-2C126 and by FAA with TSO-C91a & TSO-C126 applied to “survival” beacons.
The ELT is programmed with either the aircraft tail number, a serial number or the aircraft operator designator. It can be installed inside an aircraft on a mounting bracket or in a carry-off bag (both on options).
The mounting bracket option includes a locking pin to avoid accidental activation before ELT removal. The locking pin can be ordered separately with the carry off version.
The ELT can be fitted with a "Water Switch Sensor" to be activated automatically when in contact with water. A buzzer and a led indicate activation.
An integrated “self test” checks the main functions of the beacon. The test result is given by the led flashing sequence.
