The V16 VHF Aviation Radio Transceiver by MGL AVIONICS is the latest generation and the first in a new ecosystem of Comm Radios, Nav Radios and controllers designed with modern components and ingenuity for the lowest cost. It is a Non-TSO'd split design remote-mount COMM Radio (replacing MGL V6) for use in experimental and light-sport aircraft, which can be controlled directly by an MGL Avionics iEFIS (Gen 3 and above), with or without RAZOR/VEGA Controls or by a mix (and any number) of MGL RAZOR or VEGA series Control Heads, enabling dual radio displays and controls. It boasts 10 Watts of transmit power (unmodulated carrier). When paired with a RAZOR/VEGA control, the control can be connected to any EFIS or display that communicates with SL30/SL40 protocols, to tune the radio and load frequency lists. The V16 includes a 2-place intercom with a wide-range VOX system. Multiple headsets can be connected to the passenger channel if necessary. The advanced voice-activated intercom provides clear audio in noisy cockpits. In extreme cases the intercom can be activated via a switch connected to V16 (intercom PTT). Automatic portable radio beacons (ELT(AP) АРМ-406П (ARM-406P), АРМ-406П1 (ARM-406P1) and АРМ-406АС1 (ARM-406AC1) are safety devices designed to transmit via satellite to the stations COSPAS-SARSAT distress radio signals with aircraft coordinates received from the onboard computer system.Such information facilitie identification of the aircraft and guidance of S&R facilities to the accident site. Located in the aircraft cabin these devices offer the possibility of quick use in an emergency.
The automatic portable radio beacon АРМ-406П1 (APM-406P1) includes:
- monoblock P, consisting of a double protective casing with shock absorbers installed in it, an overload sensor (DP) and an AC1A monoblock;
- remote control PDU-406 (ПДУ-406) installed in the cockpit;
- external antenna ANT-406VA (АНТ-406ВА), mounted on the aircraft body.
The АС1А monoblock is a portable radio beacon, including a PM-AC1A (ПМ-АС1А) transmitting module, an АРМ-043-01 autonomous power supply unit and an ANT-APM-01 (АНТ-АРМ-01) antenna. The emergency mode of operation of the AC1A monoblock can be switched on both from the remote control and from the DP, as well as manually when removing it from the protective casing when leaving the emergency aircraft.
Autonomous power supply (APS) units are also offered for use with the radio beacons. АРМ-043 (CDKT.436140.590) 14.4V are intended for use for beacons manufactured before 2013 while АРМ-043-01 (CDKT.436140.590-01) 10.8V for beacons manufactured after 2013. Unless otherwise specified their replacement frequency is once every 3 years with a 3-year self life.

GARMIN® GTX™ transponder product line includes Mode A/C and Mode S TSO'd panel mounted transponders offered in a wide variety of configurations to choose from, depending on desired functions. Different models are listed under separate product presentations.
GARMIN® GTX™ 330 is a panel-mounted IFR-certified 250 W, Mode S digital transponder with traffic datalink capability and dedicated pushbutton keys for squawk code selection. The GTX™ 330 series brings ATC aircraft surveillance to new levels of precision, reliability and performance. Optionally available with 1090 MHz extended squitter transmission, certified to TSO-C166b authorization, the GTX™ 330 ES (Extended Squitter) provides an affordable pathway to ADS-B compliance for the Next Generation airspace system. The extended squitter technology enables transponders to automatically transmit traffic surveillance data (including aircraft flight ID, position, altitude, velocity, climb/descent, and heading information) compared to traditional Mode S and Mode C transponders, which can only broadcast altitude, and thus require a ground-based radar to correlate and identify the aircraft's position. In addition, simultaneous broadcast of this information to TAS or TCAS equipped aircraft, enables them to essentially see the same traffic picture for their location that ATC is watching on the ground. The “ES” upgrade provides a ADS-B Out solution but an input from an approved position source is still needed as GTX™ 330 does not have a WAAS GPS.
GARMIN® GTX™ 330 is discontinued and replaced by GTX™ 335, an entry-level ADS-B Out model with a version integrating an internal WAAS GPS. If ADS-B In capability is required then the the GTX™ 345 transponder should be selected.
For additional information please refer to the Product Description section.
The FLIGHTCOM 403MC is a 4-place panel mount, easy to use, voice-activated mono intercom with 3-position transmit capability designed to fit almost anywhere in the panel.
