320 Series - Four-cylinder engines with rated horsepower 150 or 160 hp at 2,700 rpm. These engines power numerous popular aircraft produced by companies like Cessna, Piper, and kit manufacturers such as Van’s and Glasair. The 320 Series also powers the early Robinson R22 helicopter.

360 Series - Four-cylinder engines extremely popular due to their rugged reliability and smooth performance delivering 145 to 210 hp at 2,700 rpm.

390 Series - Four-cylinder engines featuring 210 hp at 2,700 rpm. One of Lycoming’s newest engines, the IO-390-A, is designed to meet the power, payload, and speed requirements of the kit aircraft segment, and is currently being certified for helicopter applications.

DEL-120 Series - Four-cylinder turbocharged and FADEC controlled piston aircraft engines with 205 hp of takeoff power.

540 Series - Six-cylinder engines powerful and durable, producing 235 to 360 hp at up to 2,700 rpm.

541 Series - top induction, down exhaust, turbocharged, direct-drive engine series with side-mounted accessories producing 380 hp horsepower.

580 Series - Six-cylinder direct drive engines with rated horsepower 315 at 2,700 rpm. They meet the ever-growing performance requirements of modern aircraft design while being also a popular retrofit under Supplemental Type Certificates.

TEXTRON LYCOMING™ Aircraft...

Lycoming cylinder kits come complete with a nitrided steel barrel, a new aluminum alloy cylinder head, piston pins and plugs, intake and exhaust valves, chrome oil and compression rings, valve springs and seats, retaining keys, and all gaskets and seals. The cylinder barrels and heads are engineered for unsurpassed strength and performance. The nitriding process provides the cylinders with a thick armored protection that significantly outlives other hardening processes. Lycoming cylinder design dissipates heat quickly and evenly.

Lycoming cylinders come with a full two-year warranty against defects in material and workmanship – regardless of the number of hours flown.
