AVIASPORT Fuel Pressure...

The AVIASPORT indicators (gauges) are reliable, accurate and solid, combining the accumulated experience of more than twenty years with the latest technology  They have been designed for ROTAX engines and their display areas are divided into red, green and yellow zones in line with Rotax limits. They use a pointer that turns 240º or 320º, providing high resolution. AVIASPORT range of gauges includes CHT, EGT, tachometers, oil and fuel pressure, oil and coolant temperature, fuel level, voltmeters & ammeters and offered with casings of different sizes: 80mm; 57mm and 52mm.

The AVIASPORT fuel pressure gauges  have been designed especially to measure fuel pressure in Rotax® engines 912 and work both with 12V and 24V systems. Unlike mechanical gauges, the AVIASPORT ielectronic gauges use a high precision sensor to be installed close to the engine, preventing fuel lines in the cockpit. These gauges are sold without sending units or as kits with matching senders whenever specified.

Airboxes are used in ROTAX® aircraft engines to remove SOME of the difficulties created by having two independent induction systems. They simplify sourcing the air for both carburetors. Depending on the installation, the air temperature and/or pressure within the engine cowling may be significantly different on each side. Airboxes make it easy to run a single intake hose to a point on the aircraft where preferred ambient air can be obtained. They also make the provision of the same carb heat air simpler to each carburetor.

In addition all the input ports are equipped with a maximum alarm, responding when picked-up value is equal or above the stored limit. The FLYdat keeps the pilot informed on the following actual readings. Besides the topical data, the FLYdat shows also the hours of operation.

•  Engine speed

•  Cylinder head temperature (CHT)

•  Exhaust gas temperature (EGT)

•  Ambient air temperature (not on engines 912 / 914)

•  Temperature of cooling water (only on engines 582 UL, 618 UL)

•  Oil temperature and oil pressure (only on engines 912 / 914)

The TL ELEKTRONIC FLYdat is supplied with a standard configuration. With the standard configuration all trigger levels for warning- and alarm system are set to the maximum of the measuring range.

Configuration is available for the following BRP-ROTAX® engine types: 447 UL SCDI, 503 UL DCDI, 582 UL DCDI, 618 UL DCDI, 912 DCDI series, 914 DCDI series, Standard

By configuration of the TL ELEKTRONIC FLYdat, the engine type, engine number, hour of operation, temperature unit and the respective engine limits are programmed.

The TL ELEKTRONIC FLYdat unit and parts are no longer offered as ROTAX Part Numbers. These part numbers are provided for reference only.  In addition, aircraft engine  parts are subject to changes from time to time. Some parts may be no longer available or replaced by others with different part numbers. Listed engine parts do not imply their current availability or suitability for your engine application.
